Jackson stares at Sophia's father. "And who told you? Naether of my parents seem to pay atention long enough to know me." He spats out. Quickly, he glares at the accused.

"You're as odd as my daughter, she hardly even speaks to men. If I can pair two off I'm content." He replied.

"Odd!?" She scoffed. "Nobody is who I want, they don't have that...challenge I crave. And you think putting me in a potential loveless position is better?"

"An old fart calling me odd, that's it." Jackson storms up to his room. No challange? Jackson thinks after slaming the door. I am chananging euongh where my parenets want to get rid of me. Jackson contnuded to ramble on for some time.

"Hmm. That could have gone better." Her father grumbled. "Can you try to speak to him more?"
"He's pretty upset. Understandable." She replied.

"Sophia!" He growled. "Fine." She grumbled and tried to talk to him.

Pacing the room, Jackson hears a knock. "If you are a parent, go away. Otherwise, come in." He says. People these days. Marriage should be a choice, not a need.

She curiously stepped inside and called, "What about me? I know we're still strangers. I mean we only encountered each other yesterday." She sighed softly and said, "You okay?"

"No, not really. I am expected to drop my life and marry you. The real question is are you okay. I can be pretty challenging if I need to be." I smile.

She smiled softly. "I mean I'm scared of all of this. I hardly feel like I'm marriage ready. And I mean my family and friends consider me as strange and stubborn if it helps. But I can always sit down and talk, if you need comfort or company."
