cassandra laid down and sighed. timber came over and sat next to her. questions in his eyes.

Timber took a deep breath. Might as well get this over with.

"Is there a specific reason as to why you always collapse?"

" i have a condition where when i over exert myself my legs give out and i collapse... it is very rare. but... i dont have much time in the world left... no one loves me and i have been a lone wolf for a very very long time..."

Timber softened and laid down next to her, pressing himself against her.

"Well, you aren't alone anymore. And I'll stay with you." He nuzzled her neck.

" y-you will?"

timber was a kind wolf... deep down she knew it. she thought that if she had to live with a wolf that he was the one she wanted to learn more about.

" thank you..." cassandra looked exhasted and timber saw that

Timber nudged her again.

"Why don't we rest now? You look like you're going to collapse again."

"o-ok"

god why was her voice so shaky? she thought. but she fell asleep and timber watched over her. when she awoke her head hurt and everything was moving, images were blurry and voices were distorted

Timber patiently waited for Cass to get her bearings.

Cass shuddered. she felt sick again, a more common occurence recently.

" ugh... how long was i asleep timber? " she tried not to yelp in pain. her head pounded again

Timber smiled. "At least five or six hours."
