"They're fine, River." Mayhem huffed, laying her head on her paws so she could look at her pups.

River just layed beside her, keeping his new family warm.

"Psst, I'm hungry," Mayhem yawns, even though she had eaten not long ago.

River howles for Ash to bring in something for the two of them.

Not a half hour past before Ash came in with two possums. " there. Enjoy" he said before walking off.

Mayhem nodded in appreciation before tearing a chunk off to nibble on.

River ate his in peace. " Anything else I can do for you, love?" he asked nuzzling her neck gently.

Mayhem shook her head. "No, not really." She rolled and licked River on the nose.

River chuckled and nuzzle dher back " I lvoe you, Mayem. Now get some rest. I'll be back soon" he nuzzled his little ones before walking out of the den to go patroling. Ash took the Alpha's possition til he came back.

"Hey, Ash? I have a question." Mayhem whined, turning her head to sternly look at the wolf.

" What is it, Mayhem?" Ash asked looking at her " Is it about the babysitting job" he joked as he nuzzled the pups.
