Jonah breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that the Hearts were fellow Darkseekers. "I am, actually. Both of my parents were Darkseekers as well... until a group of Lightbringers killed them." Jonah looked down at the ground. "That's why I'm by myself. But, hopefully, I'll be in a new pack, thanks to you." Jonah got up and he looked at Dove. "Thanks for the opportunity. By the way, you did clear it with your Alpha before hand, right? I don't want to be strolling into your home only to be attacked by the Alphas." Meanwhile back at home, Mikael Michael still with Em, trying to ease her and make her less uncomfortable, but it wasn't working. "I would like a boy... and hopefully there's more than one pup." The condition that Hunter gave both of them so they could have pups was still fresh in his mind. "Hang on, I'm going to talk to Clay to see if there's anything to help with the pain. Mikael found him inside of his den, and he wasn't happy that Clay couldn't treat his mate. "Why can't you do anything for her? Surely you have something to treat pain!" Mikael said to him. "I do, but there's two things that are stopping me: One, your mate is allergic to mint. The medicine I make to treat pain has peppermint in it, so I can't risk her having an adverse reaction to it and potentially jeopardizing the pregnancy. Two, the medicine I've made has never been used on a pregnant wolf before, so I don't know how the mother and the pups will react to it." Mikael's heart sank upon hearing the news. I want Em to be out of pain, but I can't risk the safety of the pups either. Michael sighed and nodded his head, walking back and telling Em what Clay told him. |

" I dont care if I'm allergic to mint. If one pup dies.. then so be it. Daria and Hunter can have the other one" Em growled before wincing in pain again. " There is always next season" Dove walked closer to him " Im so sorry... and no I didnt talk to my Alpha yet.. I probably should though..." she eyed the male before turning around " if you want to come then come on... might as well before the meal is served tonight" |

Mikael nodded and told Clay her decision. He nodded and walked over to Em's den and gave her the medicine for the pain. "It won't take effect right away, but it will reduce the pain overtime. If you feel off in any way, let me know. Okay?" Mikael nodded and thanked Clay for the medicine, and he lied by Em, watching over her and keeping her as calm as possible. "Really? I can come? But..." Jonah bit his tongue and stopped himself. "You know what? I would really appreciate it." Dove smiled and Jonah walked with her back to home. |

Em sneezed and sneezed. But she would deal with it. " come on then... " Dove chuckled as she walked beside the male " Oh.. i never got your name" she asked looking over at with awith a slight smile. They slowly walked to the border of the pack " come on... I'll show you- oh no... there's my Alpha" She stopped short and stepped in front of the male in case Hunter sa him Em was fast asleep in the den with Star and Mikael, |

Hunter saw Dove come back, along with someone else who wasn't doing a good enough job hiding his bright red pelt. "Dove? Who's trying and failing to hide beside you?" Hunter said, looking straight at Jonah. Jonah sighed and revealed him and introduced himself. "Jonah hmm?" Hubter couldn't help but see how thing Jonah was compared to Dove. "Looks like winter hasn't been too kind to you, has it?" Jonah nodded slightly, embarrassed. "So... you want to join the Hearts? Follow me." Jonah and Hunter began walking to the Alpha's den, but Hunter stopped long enough to say "Good job bringing him here. I'll take care of the rest" to Dove, making her grin in accomplishment. Meanwhile Mikael was sleeping, cuddled around Em when Dove entered the den. Mikael cracked open an eye to see that it was Dove, then closed his eyes as he went back to sleep. |

Dove just went into the corner and wrapped herself around, her head on her paws. She didnt know what would come of Jonah, but she just hoped he would be able to stay long enough for her to get to now him. Even though she wasnt aloud to enter the Alpha's den, she walked up to it, to hear what the Alpha said to her friend. |

"So, your parents were killed by Lightseekers but you were able to escape, and that's why you're on your own now." Hunter said to Jonah. "Yes sir. I tried living on my own for some time but I haven't had much luck with hunting for food, as you can see." Jonah lowered his head for a moment before continuing. "My parents weren't in a pack when I was born, and I haven't joined a pack before now, so this will take some getting used to sir." "Jonah, just call me Hunter. The Hearts will gladly take on another Darkseeker, if you're willing to live and abide by the pack rules, of course." Jonah paused for a moment to think about it, then agreed to the terms. "Great. Clay will give you a rundown of all of the rules, so head over to him. He is also our healer, so if you ever get injured or sick, go to him and see if he can help you." Jonah nodded and left the Alpha's den and found Dove waiting outside. He saw her and grinned. "I think I'm in the pack now." Jonah said, his tail wagging excitedly. "Thank you for this opportunity Dove." He said, quickly nuzzling her before walking to Clay's den to get the rundown on how the pack worked and the pack rules. |

Dove's heart was beating so fast. I cant believe my eyes she thought as she watched Jonah walk past her. But what suprised her most was when he nuzzled her. hes new... why do that now? Dove wanted him go into Clays den. The Star appeared by her side " You like him, dont you, Dove? I mean, you are young. Why not go after him?" " Star.. he just got here... just becasue I brought him here, doesnrt mean Im going after him right the same second. Now if you excuse me.. I have things I have to do"
Dove snarled at her sister before walking into her parents den and just sat. " Dad... did you see that new male that came in today?" |

Mikael turned to Star and nodded. "I did, actually. Dove found him during one of his trips, and apparently he wanted to join the pack." Mikael scratched his ear. "Oh, and I heard what you said to her. Don't tease her about who she wants, Star. That's rude." Mikael said to her, with her Lightbringer friend still fresh in his mind. In Clay's den Jonah was sitting down while Clay was relaying all of the rules to him. After a few minutes, Jonah thanked Clay for telling him the rules and he left the den. Jonah looked around and found Dove. "Hey Dove, I just wanted to say thanks again for giving me a chance. I promise I won't squander this opportunity. |

Dove glared at her father " Yes sir.. I know. I just.. you know me.. loves to give that ister of mine some love" she didnt say it nicely of course but left it all the same. Then she spotted Jonah " Well hey you." she said walking away from her father and towards Jonah " come on... lets go somewhere more.... quiet, hm?" SHe walked past him, tail swishing in his face. damn he really likes me she thought as she walked towards the west where her father and mother trained. " You coming or not, Jonah?" she teased. |
