The next 3 days
The rest of the day consisted of Finn being in his tent all day. He only got out to use the bathroom or make some soup, which he only did once because he couldn't stomach much food. His diet mostly consisted of water when being hungover, which wasn't the best for him since most of the time its better to eat, but that wasn't the case for him. Jinx had also slept for most of the day, only getting up to shower later in the day and have some soup Finn made. The next day, Finn was back to his regular routine, making food for everyone and cleaning up when needed, same with the next day. For those 3 days, it was weird between him and Raihn, not so much the first day, but the following days yes. They didn't really talk, Finn only had asked him if he wanted food when he made some. Finn wanted to talk more, to feel him again, but he knew that's not what Raihn wanted, he just wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to hold back. Finn could feel himself tearing at the seams trying to contain the feelings for Raihn that burned inside him.
'
The next morning
The girls had planned to have a girl's day today, which would leave Finn and Raihn at the warehouse together, alone. Finn was a bit nervous but also excited. He was wondering how the day would unfold. Fluttering his eyes open, he looked to his side only to see nobody. Jinx was probably already up, along with Aleria. They were probably already off to get a headstart at whatever they had planned. Stretching, Finn got up, not bothering to put on underwear. Even though the days were getting colder, the walls of the warehouse protected them from most of it. Unzipping his tent, he poked his head out to look around. Yep, they're gone. He knew it, but he didn't mind. He got started on breakfast, only pouring one can of soup in the pot for him and Raihn, if he wanted some. He then sat by the fire, watching the pot.

~The next 3 days~
The days following his night with Finn were uncomfortable. And that was putting it lightly. Honestly, it was absolute torture. When he wasn't resting, which Raihn found he did quite often, he found himself doing anything and everything that he could to avoid having to speak or even look Finn's way. Sure he'd thank him for the food when it was offered to him, and for any help that he received but beyond that he said very little if anything at all. He kept his distance from Finn, but also from Jinx and Aleria, the two girls that he was with. This, whether for better or for worse, gave him time to think, perhaps too much time. He thought about everything that had happened the last several months, reflected on each step and choice he'd made to get him here, and felt the stirrings of worry and restlessness growing. Each second that passed by felt as though it were ticking down to the inevitable end waiting for him. After a few days of this Raihn was high-strung, jumpy, and irritable. He snapped, glowered, and brooded until finally, he settled on simply trying to doze and rest far more often than he had been.
`
~The following morning~
Raihn had fallen asleep early the night before and slept in late. He didn't stir when Aleria and Jinx had woken, or when they had left to do whatever it was they did when they left together. Nor did he wake when Finn had woken and opened a can to begin preparing breakfast. It was only the scent of the cooked food and the grumble of his hungry stomach that he slowly began to wake from his world of dreams to the harsh reality of the situation he was in. Slowly opening his eyes, Raihn blinked the sleep away before stifling a yawn and moving to sit up. His green eyes fell first on Finn's silhouette by the fire and then on the dancing flames in the pit. He noticed quickly, once his brain had woken up a little, that the girls were gone. The realization that he would be alone with Finn for god knew how long sent a jolt of panic through him. Lifting a hand he ran his fingers through his hair and let out a soft and tired sigh before shaking his head and leaning back against the wall behind him.

Finn didn't look behind him when he heard Raihn waking up, in fac,t he tried his best to ignore the fact that he was awake. They were alone, and both awake now, anything could happen. The thought of things happening again sent shivers down his spine and goosebumps all over his body. He only glanced over his shoulder once the food was ready. "You want any?" Finn asked, staring back down at the pot instead of at Raihn. "Oh also, I want all the laundry to be done for when the girl gets back, do you mind helping?" Finn then added quickly. It was a bit risky to ask, but since Finn lets Raihn stay there he shouldn't refuse when asked for help around the place. Yes of course he could, but that'd be an issue, Finn would probably kick him out and stop feeding him. If he didn't want to help, after everything that they have done for him, then he can fuck right off. Finally, Finn turned around to look at Raihn.

Raihn's sharp green gaze was quick to return to Finn the moment he spoke. He hated how swiftly his eyes betrayed him, betrayed his efforts to ignore Finn. Damn it. At the mention of food, he glanced down at it before giving a slow and cautious nod. "Yeah... thanks." He said. He lingered there for a moment, sitting back against the wall before he moved to grab his cane and push himself to his feet. He couldn't expect, nor did he want Finn bringing the food over to him. So, he needed to make his way over to the fire. He had just gotten to his feet and taken the first step to the fire when Finn made his request. Hearing it he paused with a raised brow before sighing. Laundry was the last thing he wanted to do, especially since it meant he'd have to entertain and be around Finn, something he was trying to avoid. Turning him down though wasn't exactly an option, not if he wanted to remain welcome here until his ankle healed up. So, despite himself, he sighed and gave a nod. "Sure, I can help." He said after a moment of hesitation before he moved to continue toward the fire.

He got another container that they had lying around the fire and poured some soup in it, carefully trying to make the amounts even. He then grabbed a spoon. put it in the container and set it far to his left for when Raihn made his way over. Hearing Raihn agree to help with laundry made his heart jump, they'd finally be doing something together after so long. Finn was so eager yet so nervous to spend time with Raihn, it was almost like the more Raihn pushed him away, the more he wanted to be near him. He grabbed himself a spoon and began to eat the soup he had made, it was vegetable soup, not his favourite but it would fill his belly. He finished his food pretty quickly, setting his pot aside before collecting any other dirty dishes and putting them inside the pot. If they were doing laundry then he might as well do all of the dishes, especially since they were piling up and they didn't have that much to begin with. "Hm, I think we might as well do the dishes as well. I'll see you at the river whenever you're done eating. You can carry the dishes, I'll carry the clothes." Finn spoke, his tone confident. Grabbing the pot with all the dirty dishes, he slid it across the ground to put it near Raihn before getting up. He then began collecting any dirty clothes he could find. They usually piled dirty laundry, but often times there would be dirty clothes in their tents. Once he had his hands full, he made his way out of the warehouse and to the river.

Raihn slowly sat himself down by the fire when he reached it. A quiet grunt escaped him as he did so. He watched Finn's careful actions out of the corner of his eye and bit at his bottom lip. He knew that Finn was trying, trying to close the distance between them, and while Raihn appreciated the effort he couldn't allow his attempts to be successful. Being around Finn... though he desperately wanted to, made him feel vulnerable, and vulnerability wasn't something he could afford right now. Hearing Finn speak, Raihn felt his lips twitch, a smile almost forming before he managed to crush it. "Yeah, I'll carry the dishes." He said with a soft sigh. How he was going to do that though he wasn't entirely sure. He'd have to balance them carefully in one hand while using the other to hold the cane. Raihn didn't say anything more as he turned his attention to the bowl of soup and began to eat its contents. His gaze shifted to Finn for a fraction of a second when he left the warehouse before he exhaled a slow breath. The idea of being alone with Finn for any amount of time was unnerving, especially considering what had happened four days ago, and yet despite that there wasn't really anything he could do about it. So, quickly finishing up his meal he moved to carefully stand and gather the dishes together. Once he had them and his cane in hand he started towards the warehouse door to meet Finn down at the river.

Once Finn got down to the river, he separated the clothes into two equal piles for them each to do, just to be fair. He had also brought down some soap, on their last run they were able to bring back some laundry detergent, which was amazing. Looking around, he spotted a bin that they had recently been using to wash clothes. They had no clue if it was better to directly wash the clothes in the river or take water in a bucket and pour the dirty water onto a patch of grass or dirt. Both seemed to be polluting the earth with the chemicals from soaps, but those were their only two options. There was only one bin though, so Finn and Raihn would have to share. Grabbing the bin, he dunked in under the water and filled it up. As he lifted it back up, he tipped it over to drain some of the water before setting it down a few inches from the water. He then sat down on his rock and got a headstart on washing his pile of clothes.

It took Raihn a good couple of minutes and several measured steps in order to get to the river. More than once, he hated to admit, he'd nearly fallen thanks to how unsteady he felt with both arms tied up and an ankle that wouldn't so much as support a fraction of his wait. With a pant of air, he set the dishes down next to the bin of water that Finn had just finished setting down a few inches from the edge of the river. Drawing in a deep breath he moved to sit down near the bin, stretching his injured ankle out in front of him. The two piles of laundry hadn't exactly gone unnoticed by him and he lifted a brow. "So which one's my pile?" He questioned after a moment of silence as he lifted his green hues from the laundry and up towards Finn. As he did so he tried his best to ignore how his heart stammered inside his chest at the sight of him.

Finn looked up slightly when he heard Raihn approach, but he was quick to turn his attention back to what he was doing. He already got 3 pieces clean by the time Raihn showed up, which wasn't a lot but it was still a headstart. "The one closer to you." Finn said, his voice low and quiet. He made no attempt to look at Raihn when he spoke to him, only finally looking up once he was done. His heartbeat sped up a bit as he stared at Raihn. Even though its been days since that night, he still got extremely nervous thinking about it, but it also excited him. A small smile crept up on his face, so he turned his gaze back to the pants he was washing.
(Ah its so short)

At the answer he was given Raihn shifted his gaze to the pile of clothes closest to him. He gave a nod before reaching for a shirt on the top of the pile. With a soft sigh falling past his lips he moved to dunk the shirt into the cool water that filled the bin before him and after doing some soap began to wash it as thoroughly as he was able to. Only once he was satisfied did he move onto the next item of clothing in the pile of laundry he'd been directed to wash. Though he occasionally felt Finn's gaze on him he didn't dare look up and towards him. It felt as if doing so would unravel all the work that he had put into distancing himself from the guy and considering how painfully difficult that had been, he didn't want to find himself back at ground zero.
