I looked her in the eyes but found it hard, I nodded to the kiss. I leaned in to kiss her, I broke away after we sat there for a bit. "I'm sorry, this day has already been rough for you, and I just made it worse," I said hanging my head low again. I glanced to see King dive under the water and go and return back to the shore. I let out a small laugh "Seems like he thinks he's had enough," I said with a sad smile.

King swam back by the same white dragon, trying his best not to look again but failing. He just went back up to the shore and shook off the water, then quickly lit himself on fire so it would all evaporate. The white dragon came out of the water, it wasn't meant for the water, but it clearly looked at home. The dragon walked up to him curiously, and he backed up a bit confused. Although his strides were longer the white dragon was quicker, soon enough the white dragon was circling him with their head low in submission. It was the dragon version of being checked out, soon enough the dragon got closer and King's neck snaked up into an S. The white dragon's head follow King's and got close enough to touch noses. The white dragon stepped back a bit and just stared at him then circled him again but this time their eyes were glued to his back, specifically on the saddle. The white dragon was wild, it evaded the humans on the island by staying in the water.

I smiled softly when he looked at me and nodded. He broke away after a while and to my disappointment he spoke again and it still was full of sadness. I sighed, i didn't realize how hard it was to cheer someone up. Especially when they felt bad because of you. "Its fine, im not the only important one here. Sometimes I have to suck up to help someone i love." I smiled slightly when King left. "Guess our kiss is just to powerful," i joked as King left. After he was gone i turned back to Tobey, "Lets just go home. There we can cuddle, and i can make you dinner. It will probably be around that time once we get home anyway." I grabbed his hand which i had accidentally let go of when we were kissing and lead him out into the sun. I stopped dead in my tracks when i saw another dragon by King. I glanced at Tobey.

I quickly pulled Kaolin back into the darkness of the cave, "It's a female, I think it is the same species as him," I said. I put my helmet on, "Stay here for a second," I whispered to her. I made sure the female dragon could easily see me when I walked out. She hissed as a warning but I stopped when she did, King immediately stood over me protectively and let out the sound I heard often. My best guess is that it was a sound saying that I'm family, the female approached slowly and King stepped back. The female nudged and pushed me around a lot, she even managed to get my helmet off me. I dealt with it and keep my hands up showing I wasn't reaching for anything the entire time. Eventually, she snorted and raised her head into a more relaxed position. I motioned for Kaolin to slowly walk out of the cave but keep her hands up.

I was shocked when Tobey yanked me back but nodded. As i watched him go out and let the female push him i smiled, not because he was getting pushed around but because that was the Tobey i knew. "That's my Tobey." I whispered to myself. When i saw him motion for me i gulped but did as i was asked. I didn't like this, especially with Blue being no where in sight but i stepped onto the sand. I made sure to hold up my hands as i took another step closer. Too scared to move anymore i just stood there, trying to calm down. My heart beat in my chest so hard i thought it might explode. I kept my eyes on Tobey and the dragon.

I motioned for her to come closer to me but when she didn't I walked over to her and calmy wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her into my side. To dragons, they only stood leaning into each other if they were mates or family. The female just stared for a second and huffed before getting interested in King again, King just let it happen.

"I believe she is checking him out, seeing if he is a good possible mate, as far as physic that is. If she finds his physical traits desirable she may follow him back to the hive with us and watch his behavior for a few days," I explained whispering to her and trying not to disturb them.

I was glad when Tobey went over to me and pulled me closer. I dont know what had gotten into me. Usually i loved dragon's and even if they were attacking i was still calm. But right now, i was scared to death. I tried not to shake but it was impossible. I guess what happened to dad hit me harder than i knew. If a tail could do that, what would a fire blast or just plain attacking do? My eyes closed shut, not wanting to think about it anymore. I finally opened my eyes again when Tobey spoke. I just nodded. That thing following us back? The thought just made me shake more. What was wrong with me? That's when Blue popped his head out of the water. Luckily the female was too busy looking at King to notice him so i was able to give him a signal to stay hidden. I knew i shouldve probably let them meet but dad kept flashing to my mind. What if the female and Blue got into a fight? I grabbed Tobey's hand and squeezed it, i couldn't let Blue get hurt either. Blue did as he was told and went back into the water. That calmed me a bit but i was still scared.

I watched her order Blue to go back in the water, "No let him come out, but slowly," I suggested. "She probably heard the water and knows there is another dragon watching so she may feel threatened until he comes out of the water," I said. Adult wild dragons are a lot more unpredictable, they are harder to tame because they aren't afraid to fight. Their size can make it worse as well and with dragons as big as King and the female, it could easily take a turn for the worse. "everything is going to be okay," I said trying to comfort Kaolin "This isn't my first time watching and getting caught in these interactions. You have to present yourself at the start otherwise the female doesn't know what she is fully getting into and it could cause issues later on if she actually does pick him as a mate." I explained "So trust me here," I said hugging her and doing my best to try and distract her from her obvious fright.

I sighed, shoot Tobey saw. "Blue dosent do well with other dragons....He can be a bit too....forward sometimes..." I said giving Blue the signal to slowly come to my side. At first Blue looked at me, clearly confused, but eventually did as he was told. But instead of being subtle and quiet and coming to my side he stopped right beside King and the female. He roared a small hello, his posture friendly. I covered my face with my hands. "Told you." I mumbled to Tobey. I then moved a finger so i could peek to see what happened. I was all tense even though Tobey was right beside me. I dont know what i would do if Blue got hurt. I gave the signal to get to my side but he didn't even look at me. I growled in my head, wishing i could've had him interact with other dragons more so he would've atleast know when to stop.

The female only glanced at Blue then turned her back to him again. She was way more focused on King, it made sense since Blue was so small next to them. They didn't make any noise, just the female kept getting close to King but she was avoiding touching him. Soon enough she snorted and flew to a rock tower in the distance but still in sight. "I think she is done inspecting him, if she follows us just stick to your normal behavior," I said rubbing her side and guiding her to Blue with my hand on the small of her back.

Blue huffed, clearly annoyed but finally came to my side. I let out a breath when the female flew off to a nearby rock tower. I nodded at Tobey's words before letting him escorte me to Blue. Blue could tell i was upset so he licked me. I smiled slightly, "I love you too. Just never scare me like that again!" He huffed and i rolled my eyes. I then got onto Blue. "Im going to go say goodbye to my parents. You can go ahead and go through." With that i had Blue fly into the air. We quickly flew to the hospital, hoping Tobey wouldn't follow me. I just needed to relax before i went back. When i got in dad was asleep and mom was making something. She smiled when she saw me. "Im just coming to say goodbye." I said walking over to her. Her smile faded but she nodded. I went over to dad and gave him a gentle hug, "Get well, ill be back tomorrow." I whispered. I then went over to mom and hugged her. When i let go she looked like she was going to cry again, "I love you dear." She said, handing me a necklace made out of Blue's old scales that i had been silly saving. "Thank you." I said with a slight smile. She sadly smiled back.
