Mayhem smiled, playfully nipping at him.

Spring finally arrivedand River was gonna get the news of a life time.

River chuckled " I love you, Mayhem. I hope you wont ever forget that." he licked her fur gently. As he slowly woke up to go hunt for his small pack.

Mayhem nuzzled River. "I've got something I need to tell you."

" What is it, love? Its not that leg again is it?" he hoped it wasnt since he heared the bone itself heal. But he still wanted to make sure. He sat up so Mayhem could strech herself and walk around. " Dont leave me hangin here darling.." he teased

"No, it's not my leg again." Mayhem chuckled, then stared into Rivers eyes. "I'm ready."

River was shocked " Ready?" Ready for waht though? he thought as he looked back at her oh wait.. stupid me.. I know. He chuckled at himself ' Are you trully ready, love? I dont want to hurt you in any way possible if you decide to on with this." She still would make a wonderful mother. No doubt about that.

"Yes." Mayhem hugs River, wraps her paws around him. "I'm sure."

" Well alright then" River sadi nuzzling herand nips her gently.

*TIME SKIPPP*

A few weeks before any pups are due XD

River awned as he slowly opened his eyes and nestled closer to his mate. " Good morning, beatiful" he said nuzzling her belly " You feeling ok?"

Mayhem was still asleep, and grumbled sleepily. "Five more minutes.." She yawned, stretching out. The female was normally already up and jumping around, but today was different.

" I'll give you... ten more minutes." River sadi nuzzling her " meet the group outsdie for a meal when you get up. "

He walked out of the den and sat around the ten pronged stag

" Wheres Mayhem" they all asked in unison.

" I gave her ten minutes to sleep in." River replied " just.. dig in and dont worry about her. Ill worry about her myself. Why isnt she the spunky jumpy self? he thought as he slowly ate.
