Jace He yawned as he got up, "I finished some work at least." He thought to himself. He wasn't looking forward to opening the door but he had too. His hand slowly turned the door knob opening it to see her. His eyes loomed over her body, "Shes even prettier in real life..." He thought as he stared at her. He quickly snapped out of, "I'll get the maid to show you around." He muttered grabbing her bags and carrying them inside. He set them by a random door not caring if she liked the room inside. "Make yourself comfortable. Lunch will be served soon, and if you need anything I'll be in my office." He mentioned to her before calling a maid to show her around. His eyes quickly examined her before he walked up the stairs into his office. He sat back down thinking about her, "I need to focus on getting these papers done.." He thought as he started working again. Edited at October 22, 2023 08:53 PM by Lost Rune

Colette ~
Her big grey eyes gazed up at the man who opened the door, her breathing hitching ever so lightly. What a fine specimen... She almost blushed at her own thoughts, but she shook it off as he spoke and grabbed her bags. "Ah, alright," she said softly with a nod, walking quickly behind him in order to keep up. She looked around as he led her to a room and set her bags down. Colette found herself studying his face again as she listened to him. She bit her lip absentmindedly, "I will, thanks." He was rather straight forward and quiet for her taste, but she could imagine it was because he felt as strongly about the situation as she did. Colette watched as he left her there and she got settled before going to walk around with the maid. The house was absolutely beautiful, and even though she'd grown up very well off, she'd never thought she'd live somewhere so lovely. After she'd been given a tour, Colette walked around the place on her own, her eyes looking over the features of the house. Her thoughts had a tendency to wander pack to him. "Maybe this won't be too bad. At least he's cute," she thought, a small smile gracing her lips.

Jace He ran his fingers through his hair frustrated at his work, "I need a break.." He muttered realizing it was lunch time, "Perfect." He got up making his way to the kitchen. He sat down as the maid served him food. "Mmm-" He hummed as he ate the delious food. His mind wondered endlessly at his current situation. He realized he didn't even know her name, "Maybe I need to get to know her..." He thought, "Go tell her lunch is ready." He ordered the maid. His mind was focused on her some how. "Why won't she get off my mind?!" He thought frustrated. His hands ran through his hair trying to soothe himself.

Colette ~ Colette was startled slightly as the maid seemed to appear out of no where to tell her that lunch was ready. She nodded and thanked her before heading to where the dining room was. Awaiting her was a plate of food and her future husband. She sneakily ran her gaze over him again. Why can't I stop looking at him like this? She shook it off, sauntering over to join him at the table. "Hi.. My name is Colette, by the way," she said, realizing she hadn't formally introduced herself to him. The food before her smelled and looked amazing, and tasted just as good as she took a bite.

Jace He stared into her mezerizing eyes, "I'm Jace.." He muttered, "You seem young and childish already... How old are you?" He asked harshly, not wanting to be attached to her. He saw her eyes wonder aimlessly on his body, he slightly felt a bit flustered as he called the maid for some water.

She was rather shocked at how harsh his words were. She rolled her eyes slightly, averting her gaze. "And you seem old and ornery. I'm 19," she said, giving back what he gave. She'd had plenty of partners before, but never any with as large of an age gap. Colette may not have truly meant what she said, but then again she had a lot of pent up emotions about the whole situation. She was still mad at her father for signing the contract with her being so young. She still wanted to have a life. To be able to go out and do what she wanted and maybe even date someone she wanted. But this was much different than she imagined.

Jace He smirked liking her feisty personality, "I'm 24 Miss bossy." He teased slightly. His hands slipped down and grabbed his water. "Well, I'm sure you'll learn to tolerate me." He added as he got up and walking to the backyard. "Oh my- Its huge." He thought as he eyed the large spacious yard. His eyes loomed over the small swing under neath a tree. "I need some rest anyways." He muttered as he sat in the swing and read a book.

Colette grinned and let a quiet giggle slip. Now that was more her speed. "I should hope so. I'd have to warn you though.. I can be a handful," she told him before he left her there by herself. Colette finished her lunch and was about to go do her own thing when her father messaged her, reminding her to actually spend time with the man. She huffed, ignoring the text. She headed up to a balcony that overlooked the backyard. She leaned against the railing, taking in the view. Her hair blew in the wind and she sighed softly, feeling slightly anxious. It was too quiet. She was used to the hustle and bustle of a busy house.

Jace His eyes peered out from his book to watch her. He smiled, "Shes so pretty..." He mumbled as he stared at her. His focus lost on her magnificent body. He snapped out of his daze as he got up. Yawning he wondered back inside stepping foot in the living room. He laid out some blankets moving the couches to look like a bed whilst throwing pillows on it. His body fell forward on the comfortable bed-couch. He used to do this as a kid a lot. Tiredly he grabbed the remote putting a movie on. "Maybe she wants to watch with?" He thought to her, "Maid go get Colette."

Colette had been blissfully unaware that she was being watched. "I wonder if we will ever actually like each other.. After all it's not like we can ever split." Her thoughts of the future were interrupted by the maid opening the door to the balcony. "Miss.. He requests you down in the living room," she told her before leaving Colette to make her way towards him. She headed down stairs, a curious look crossing her face as she saw how he'd rearranged the couches to resemble a bed. "You wanted me?" She asked, leaning against the back of one of the couches gently.
