The pretty alabaster colored mare had seemed to settle under the new rider, obviously less finicky and panicked. Evangeline stood, still gently patting and whispering sweet words to the mare, watching the stranger from the corner of her eye. As he made a comment, she spun around to face him with a gentleness, as to not scare the horse again. "And a disobedient man must be slaughtered." she sneered, resting one hand on her hip. Her other hand was warm on the neck of the mare, who leaned into her touch. Most people or animals did find her touch enjoyable, mostly because of the obvious warmth and gentleness that radiated from her fingertips and palms. Or, well, sometimes the gentleness, it wasn't always there. As the man continued to speak, her gaze softened and it became evident that she wasn't quite in the mood to be snappy with him. Evangeline spoke again, taking her hand from the mare. heavy wip
