She followed the sound of wolves to the source.....

As the wolves closed in, Scout sat with his tail tucked and looked for any possible escape route. He was completely cornered and there was no way out. He whined and rolled in submission.

Rush for to the scene just in time to see the dog roll orver in submission wow... That is not how you deal with that alpha she thought doesn't be know anything? Rush cocked her head she might as well do as she came for "what are you doing?" She asked " Oh, nothing just looking at the scenery.... " the black Alpha said his voice slathered in honey "so nice to see you here" "Be quiet!" She growled " only because you say so.... " his pack left behind him good riddance Rush growled in her thoughts

Scout stayed in his position and waited to see what the wolf from the night before would do. He didn't feel scared of her but he didn't want the pack to return. He wished he had called for help instead he was alone, cowering under a tree.

Rush turned to the dog twitching her ears "don't you know these parts? Someone could get hurt by that pack! Submitting or not"

"Obviously, I don't. Are you not the one who tried to steal my sheep that I am in charge of? If you let me go back to my farm, I won't mess with the pack, but if you don't, my own pack will come for you." Growled Scout.

"Heh," Rush laughd " What pack? I don't see any packs... I'm not even in one" she said then in a silky tone "and weres yours? Hiding? At the first scent of danger?"

"I... I know they are looking for me, they have to. Someone should know I am missing by now. You'll see!" Scout whined nervously. He had been gone for about a day and it was coming sunset and he would be gone for a second night. Surely they would find him.

Rush swished her tail "maybe you never know" And with that she left to the cave she called her temporary den. And finally got some sleep

Scout saw that night was quickly approaching and decided to go to the river to fish, because he know how to after the farmers grandson taught him. Memories of the farm made Scout even more anxious to get back. He would go get dinner from the river and try and find home the next morning, he planned.
