Zoko nods. "I am a crystal dragon. The only remaining one left. The things who attacked your kingdom are human dragon poachers, they turned my kingdom into ruins, theres nothing left of it." He said. "I was able to save more than half of your kingdom, your kingdom itself isnt ok but more than half of your people are alive. The poachers are gone. Let me take you to be with your family." He stated.

Amara kept her eyes locked on the dragon before her. While she was grateful that he managed to save half the kingdom, none of her kin would be left alive. "My wings" she said, motioning to the burned wings. "There is also no reason for me to go back. None of my kin made it" she admitted. "Nobody would even notice if I was there or not."

"I just have a feeling. But I'm not sure. Some of the dragons survived though." Zoko said. He looked at her. "I'm sorry I couldn't save all of them." He added. "I tried, I really did." He added again. He looked around. "I can at least keep you safe if you'll let me.." He said hoping she would let him. Edited at August 4, 2022 05:49 PM by Little Pumpkin

Amara looked at Zoko. "My kin were servants to the royals. They pushed me away to hide with the eldest prince while they went to fight" she said as she looked down. Her blue eyes were filled with sadness before she looked back up at the male. "You would be willing to help keep me safe?"

"Yes I'll keep you safe." Zoko said, to be honest he sorta found the smaller dragon attractive. "Come with me, I know a bigger cave then this and the poachers won't be able to find us there." He added mentally shaking the attractive thought from his mind.

Amara gave a small nod as she prepared herself to follow him. "My name is Amara" she said as she looked up at the larger male. She was grateful to him for healing her wings, and allowing her to go with him. While her life might not have been all bad had she gone back to the kingdom, she didnt want to fullfill what her parents wanted of her. The white scaled female looked up between the trees and spotted a large flock of birds flying south while a somewhat annoyed looking pitch black male dragon scouted the trees. It was clear Amara didnt like the look of him as she crouched down near Zoko trying to stay hidden.

"I'm Zoko. Stay here and stay close to that side of the cave." Zoko said. Once he knew she was well hidden, he flew to the pitch black dragon. "Can I help you?" He asked. His crystals glisened when the moonlight hit them. He looked at the dragon he has never seen before. "Why are you here?" He asked, his gut told him this dragon was a bad dragon who might be searching for Amara. If the dragon was, Zoko would make sure she got out of there safe and sound and hidden. Amara gave a small smile before she moved deeper into the cave before she crouched down and watched Zoko take off to the sky. The black male narrowed his eyes slightly, holding his head high as he looked at the dragon who approached. "My guards told me they saw one of my servants headed this way. I am just making sure she knows exactly where she blongs is all" he said as he let his eyes scan the area. "If you see a small white scaled female, bring her to the kingdom nearby."

Zoko stared at the black dragon. He was holding his head higher. "If I find her, I'll take her to your kingdom." He said. He was lying of course but he was a great liar and once he knew the dragon is gone is when he will take Amara to his cave. "But answer my question. Who are you?" he asked. When the dragon said 'my guards', it gave Zoko the feeling he was royalty. "Also what is the dragoness's name?" He asked.

The male barely looked unammused by the male asking him questions. "I am Prince Zypher. The female is named Amara from what I was told. Not like her name matters" he replied. His blood red eyes scanned the area once more before looking back at the male before him. The prince seemed to be also listening to what was around them, hoping to hear Amara, but he couldnt. He left without another word.
