Caligo 'He is a strong steed. Sometimes I wonder if I'm worthy of him. I would love to hear your stories and be here if you need someone to convey more complicated messages to Caligo' The magnificent dragon's scales glittered in the sunlight as she listened, nodding with a soft look in her gaze but she kept her gaze on athelestan, wondering if it'd be possible for her to communicate with him. she had communicated with other creatures before. thank you, Thalia, im sure you both are worthy for each other, a special bond is formed between two different species for a reason with Nymphs, its a permanent thing, woven in fate. her gaze examined the horse in wonder, resting her head down upon the ground as she stared, breathing slowly, focusing on Athelastan as she narrowed her gaze, wondering if he could understand thoughts she sent his way, 'Athelestan... can you hear me?' she couldn't hardly feel anything as she had pet her scales, but Caligo had heard her speak, " are you ok?" he spoke, "be careful, they're harmless one way but if you rub them in the other direction they can be dangerous." Caligo made room for her when she crawled back in and smiled softly as she rested her head under his chin again, wrapping an arm around her as he leaned his head on her head, listening to her words, "Caligo, my work demands just one more day of it. Then I was going to leave on horse back anyhow. I was in town to get a proper saddle for him and to finish up business." nodding and closing his moonlit gaze gently as she spoke once more, hearing her drift off as he gently ran his fingers through her flame colored hair, soft as roses. he couldn't help the chuckle though as she played with his hair, how she seemed earlier to now seemed as if it was two different people, but he did know he liked this version of her a lot better. as she seemed to drift asleep, her steady breathing made his eye lids heavy as he watched the fire, his arms wrapped around her, head resting over hers as his breathing slowly fell into pace with hers, each inhale and exhale slowly matching rhythm as his eyes slowly closed and the world faded out into a deep sleep, feeling as if he was floating, drifting through an easy darkness as he slept, finally at peace. Mystica smiled softly as she looked down at the two sleeping, wrapping her claws gently around them to keep them cozy and tucked in tight as she glanced back at Athelstan, a gentle look upon her face as she spoke through mind, 'join us if you'd like, its warm here.'

Adonis . Chucking as he circled around the tree at her calling him a goof. He was about to see her around again but went up the tree. "How fast are you in trees." He was out on one of the farthest. Like a sailor who has seen land. Only he is 10 feet above grass. The city wall caught his emerald eyes. He could see the main temple on a hill, surrounded and protected. He hung upside down and could almost touch her head. "Up here." His blond hair upside down and blowing more easily in the wind. "I could hide and you try to track me down. I can't track you as it would be far to easy." He reached his hand down.

Daphne . She reached out towards the sky and thought she saw clouds. She let her brown gaze follow them and it ended up being his hair. White like sea foam, or clouds. But it glistened. She bent her head backwards and let her hand fall to her side as she let her focus go from his head, to forehead, to his eyes. Pupils as dark as fresh lapis and his iris like a frozen lake. Her gaze continued and stopped again at his freckles. She looked back to her hand at the map as an evil smirk grew in her lips as you could see the gears turning in her head. "Its fantastic that you are so eager to help." She showed Ajax the map so that he could get a since of direction. And then she popped up holding it. "So you likely know all of the ins and outs of the city, weak spots and the like." She held an empty quil to the page, ready to make mental notes.

Thalia . Thalia was half asleep and couldn't open her eyes. All she mumbled was a barely registerable "okay." As she drifted away to the feeling of her hair being played with and the sound of the sea and breath. She woke up under water. Looking around she could tell she was smaller. She also saw a trident in her hand. Without being able to control herself the lunged it and then the scent of blood filled the sea. She had hit a large fish. "There you go, see not so hard." She turned around to have her crimson eyes on a man with scares and a cold expression. He put a hand on her cheek. "You know, you were always my favorite." Then he multiplied. All of them started charging for her so she booked it to the surface. Once she got there the clouds were blocking all light. In the distance she could just barely make out land. She swam as fast as she could. As she got closer she saw them. Hundreds of white eyes on a pitch black shore. Turning around she could still see him approaching. When a knife materialized in her hand she knew what she was supposed to do. Stepping on the sand she immediately killed one. But from behind one grabbed her and scorched her leg with its teeth. As she stabbed it she let out a scream. Waking up she realized it was all a nightmare. She sat up slowly so she didn't wake up Caligo, he was after all nocturnal. . She turned her head to Athelstan. Did I... scream. He turned his head and shook it. No, just sat up, and that is right now. He looked up at the dragon. As he could hear her. Dragon. She said your name is Mystica. I hear you fine. When talking with Thalia he lowered his voice and was calm and relaxed. With the dragon he let it sound like thunder. His attention was brought back when Thalia asked him to grab the jug she had behind the house. He nodded and looked at the dragon. I really don't do the hole joining a sleeping pile. He said as he stood up and stomped his bronze hooves to stretch his legs. Besides I've got something to do. He trotted off towards the back of the house. . Thalia looked at the bottom of the Jaw of Mystica. Forgive him, he doesn't like physical affection anymore then a pat on the neck and a thank you. She turned and looked into the fire.

Era the elven nymph tilted her head at the question, "How fast are you in trees." well, to be honest she didn't know, she hadn't climbed a tree since she was a kid. it never really occurred to her that she may want to climb one, it just wasnt something she did. her sunlit gaze flickered up as she watched him climb the tree quite impressively, her gaze wide as she laughed, "well, surprised your animal isn't a monkey. i certainly cant climb like that."The Elven nymph's gaze flashed up at his words "Up here." and she smiled with a light giggle, "well hello." she said as he was hanging upside down directly over her. "I could hide and you try to track me down. I can't track you as it would be far to easy." a soft smile curved onto her crimson lips as he had spoken while he reached his hand down to her, "I could hide and you try to track me down. I can't track you as it would be far to easy." sending him a playful glare with a huff, "oh yeah? think i cant hide well?" she giggled and took his hand using it for support as she climbed up a few branches quite gracefully, but not standing up, only crouching and crawling as she did, climbing up to the top beside him with a smile, her sunlit gaze scanning his emerald eyes, "challenge accepted." she giggled.

Gelidus the young nymph's curly white hair moved in the breeze softly as his gaze flickered towards Daphne in slight confusion, feeling her gaze upon him as he chuckled slightly, why was she looking at him like that? he turned his head a moment and felt his face, and his hair, do i have something in my hair? dirt on my face? he wondered but felt nothing, but he wiped his face off with his shirt anyway. before glancing back at her in an awkward confusion at her devilish expression, seeming to be forming a few bad ideas in her head, "Its fantastic that you are so eager to help." he took a deep breath as a knot formed in his stomach, what trouble did he get himself into now? "So you likely know all of the ins and outs of the city, weak spots and the like." he gave a slow hesitant nod, "y-yes... i uh... i do..." he spoke, folding his hands together not sure if he wanted to tell her all of this. what if she went and did this all alone? with just her lion? he couldn't risk her and him getting caught, what would happen to them? well, she would be executed and the lion would be eventually executed in a Colosseum.

Caligo Slowly he had fallen asleep, drifting into his dreams as his breathing was slow and deep, eyes closed softly, his hand stuck in her hair from when he had been running his fingers through it and his head still resting ontop of hers as the darkness faded out into a beautiful night of wonder, beneath the ground, where the city of the dark elves lied, secret and hidden away, there were glowing muschrooms and fireflies that lit the large cavern filled with beautiful glowing crystals that were bigger than the elves themselves, his eyes glowed like moons as he was a small version of himself, but yet his tattoos still remained, glowing in bioluminescence. He was a small kid, picked on often, but when his father was around, no one dared mess with him. so he was all alone, playing with a small glowing salamander, giggling as he leaned up against a giant glowing crystal, the salamander about the size of his foot as he held it in his hands, its little spots glowing in the light until a stern voice sounded behind him, causing him to jump in shock as he stood up straight and hid the salamander behind his back in his hands, "y-yes father?" he said as a large buff elf with a bushy beard and a strong jaw spoke firmly, "son... as you know, humans are getting nearer, close to finding our kingdom..." The little Caligo nodded and swallowed as his father continued, "and your mother isnt here to train you..." a hint of sadness was hinted in his voice but he cleared his throat and continued, "you will have to-" he paused as he noticed his son had been holding something behind his back, seeming quite destracted, "son, whats behind your back?" The little Caligo froze and reached his hands out towards his father, a cheesy nervous smile on his little face as there was nothing in his hands, yet he seemed to squirm a bit uncomfortably as the salamander was crawling up the back of his shirt. His father eyeballed him suspitiously but still continued, "as i was saying... you will be training with-" his eyes went wide as the salamander crawled up to the shoulder of Caligos shirt to pop out the neck of his shirt and lick its eye before tilting its head. his father huffed and looked at caligo sternly, "really? whats this?" Caligo shook his head and shrugged, "i-i dont know what your talking about..." His father narrowed his gaze and snatched the salamander from his sons shoulders, tossing it away as he spoke, "dont you realize!? our kingdom is on the verge of collapsing! your the only heir! im not going to live long enough ton fix this! this is in your hands! and your not even trained! yet your playing with a lizard? as if the world doesnt exist? wake up! who's son are you?" the look of dissapointment and rage formed from stress in his fathers gaze made caligo feel two inches tall. like he was being squished slowly by his fathers will, and he lowered his head, glancing of to where the salamander liyed, limp on the ground from hitting the stony cave wall, then glancing back to his father as a small fiery rage filled his gaze in hurt and pain, "he was a salamander! and his name was dotty!" he huffed and ran away, his little moonlit eyes filled with tears, as he clearly hadnt comprehended what his fathers stresses were, too young to understand anything but the fact that his father was angry, hated him, and that he killed his only friend. but then suddenly loud screaming and yelling could be heard from the main entrance, then from all around, the dreams so vivid in his memory as little caligo froze behind a few clusters of large crystals, terrified and confused, holding onto the back of it as he looked around terrified, wiping the tears from his eyes as he listened, war screams all around him, but something took his attention as he glanced around the large crystal, hear4t beat in his ears as he heard his father's yells, calling out his name. was he still mad? no, this sounded urgent, he didnt know what to do, what was more scary, the humans running rampid, slaughtering his kingdom, or his fathers stressed rage. he'd stick with bhis father. He stood up, biting his lip as he wild eyes flickered towards his father and the fighting humans and elves around him, he had to get to his dad on the other side. Taking a deep breath, he dove into the crowd, crouching low, quickly manuvering between people and elves, dodging a few that tried to come after him, managing to slip away like a weasil, his tattoos a natural indication of his royal blood, making him a target, but he was a crafty, witty child, very stealthy in his nature. he finally made it to his father but before he could say much, terror filled his tiny face as his father swept him up and choved him into a farther underground compartment, then speaking few words, "stay. dont come out until i tell you to..." he paused but shook his head shutting the top as if leaving something else out. so little calligo stayed there huddled into a small hole, his knes to his chest as he watched and listened as footsteps echoed throughout the ground and yells of pain and terror shook through the cavern, tears pulling at his little eyes as he held his breath when things got silent, listening to unrecognizable voices as he kept silent, until finally hearing them fade away. he waited. and waited. but his father hadnt told him to come out yet. until a croak of a voice sounded near to the hold of the top, was that... his fathers? it didnt sound right, "caligo..." it said before choking and coughing, his gruff defeated voice sounding, "son..." caligo hesitantly and slowly lifted the lid of the secret compartment by just a crack, whispering softly as he looked around, his eyes absorbing the images of only his worst nightmares, bodies scattered everywhere... but bodies of his own kind. elves he knew. He whispered shakily, "f-father...?" he slowly climbed out to see his fathers bpdy lying there, just barely breathing, his breaths could be heard, so shallow they were like wheezes, his voice sputtering blood as there was a large stab wound in his chest, one arm mangled, one leg stabbed, blood pooling from his fathers mouth as he seemed to gargle on it as he spoke, or at least tried to, "caligo... come." he spoke but caligo only took a step back in terror, hid father speaking still trying to be firm and rough with his words to get him to do something but didnt seem to have the strength, the energy, "Now!" he spoke but was only followed by a long series of gargly, lung heaving coughs as blood spattered from his mouth upon the cave floor, breathing even shallower, seeming to stop for a few moments, closing his eyes as he held out an amuluet in his hand, his voice barely a whisper, "t-take... it......c-cal" but his words were gone as his final breath was lost and his body grew limp. little caligo clenched his jaws shut, frozen as his gaze was glued to the sight of his dead father, a mere whisper coming from him in a frightened whimper, "f-father...?" he stood, for hours it seemed, frozen, but there was no answer. he slowly walked over, his hand shakily reaching out for the amulet, his little eyes flashing from his hand to his fathers face, as if scared he'd wake up, once having it in his grip he jumped back and ran out of the cavern without a second thought or a second glance, running out into the forest. alone. . 'Dragon. She said your name is Mystica. I hear you fine.' are the words Mystica had caught from the horse, nodding, although at his next statement her head tilted slightly, eyes narrowed 'I really don't do the hole joining a sleeping pile.' She huffed and nodded, "very well then..." although he gave off a slightly rude, distant aura to her, it was strange. he'd be something she'd observe more often, try to figure him out. Her gaze flickered towards Thalia as she spoke the words, 'Forgive him, he doesn't like physical affection anymore then a pat on the neck and a thank you.' she shook her head and let out a long deep breath as she rested her head on the ground, "id say I understand, but thats a mystery to me... but i find it a challange, an interest of mind to try and understand it. i respect it." . Adonis . As he helped her up he the tree he kept getting lost in her eyes. It was odd, made his hear beat faster. His blond hair gently swaying in front of his freckled face as the sun beamed down into his eyes. He heard her giggle and it was like being struck with an arrow. You stuck me down I fell so hard. And I thought I was so smart. As he remembered the words of an epic poem he chuckled. Even though it was from a man to his daughter he felt that whenever she looked at him, spoke, or did anything really. Pure affection. Surpised your animal isn't a monkey. He grabbed the branch as he almost fell out of shock and laughter. He turned to her, grinning. "Not so bad yourself. But don't ever tell Ammenadile that, so sensitive." He let his legs dangle in amusement. . As she jokingly took fake offense to him he let his grin turn to a smirk. "No, I don't think you can hide better then I track." His face turning into a jokingly serious manner, still obviously fake as she accepted the challenge. "Alright, you can't use an animal to help, neither can I, and If I don't find you before Ammenadile gets back you can pick my poison, but if I find you, I get to pick yours." He bent his head down, curious if she would change it in any way. But he hoped she wasn't a good hider at all as an idea was forming in his ever changing mind.

Daphe . She tucked the map into he satchel and giggled as he wiped his face. She still looked at him with her head in his lap. What if we got them before they got us. Ajax turned his head and let out a bit of a yawn and small room out of agreement but still tired. She listened as he was hesitant to admit that he knew every in and out of the city. "Your nervous? If its any consolance you don't have to come if you don't wish. Besides it won't be happening today. We've got way to much to plan out." She looked up into his eyes and how blue they were. "I'm sorry for staring, but your eyes are stunning, like sapphires." She took out another piece of paper and started sketching. Thus beating down on her hair as she glanced at him and the page in intervals.

Thalia . She debated on moving, but didn't know if it would wake him up. The alcohol had already gone threw her system and have worn off. She looked up at the dragon. Still in awe. She looked at her scales and the cut on her hand, curious just how sharp the scales where, and if she shed them. She tilted her head so that she saw Caligo's chin and decided not to move so he could get sleep but also finding her situation odd. She had just met them today and now she was snuggled up by them. She touched the shoulder of the armor, thinking how odd it is that he sleeps in it. . She listened to the dragon finding it fascinating that she has never met someone or something with Athelstans temperament. He is odd, and I love him. Though you said a mystery? You never met anyone like him, ever? Her crimson eyes watched as she put her head on the ground knowing she could easily eat her in one bite. She took Caligos hand off of her head slowly as she looked into the dragons pretty violet purple eyes.
