Black Rose flinched but grabbed his scruff and dragged him back. "No." She said with a stern look. "I'm getting you back to your pack whether or not you like it. I'll get something for your pack to eat too on the way." And with that she dragged him back to his pack. Somehow her slight anger made her stronger so Chase couldn't escape even if he begged. She dragged him all the way until she dropped him. "Stay here." She told him and licked the place where she had grabbed his scruff before running off to find a deer or some other large animal she could take down.

Chase was stunned at what had just happened, but he snorted. He had to do something for her. He padded off on a short trail to a patch of flowers. In a patch of Red Roses, he found a single black one. He picked it at the stem, along with daisies and lilies. He bundled them together and wrapped them with a leaf.

Black Rose saw a few deer walking through the forest and crouched down before stalking the prey. She got close, very close, before one of the deer noticed her and started running. The rest of the few deer ran in opposite directions and she ran after the one that spotted her and easily took it down. She threw it up and it landed on her back with a thud and she walked back to where she had left Chase and found him no longer there. "Oh for god's sake-" She growled. "CHASE!" She barked and ran around looking for him. "Why couldn't he have just stayed still for a few minutes?"

Chase padded back into camp where she had left him, he handed her the bundle of flowers, "Just getting you flowers, is that such a crime?" he smirked slyly.

Black Rose walked up to him and sighed. "I thought something happened to you." She whispered and then looked at the bundle of flowers. Her face turned slightly red from her blush and wagged her tail. "Thank you." She said and picked up the flowers and smiled. She motioned to the deer on her back. "I got the food, so we should get back."

"Agreed" Chase nodded, "Here I can take the deer" he offered, tugging it off her back and onto his, "Pfft, nothing would've happened to me."

Black Rose puffed out her cheeks with a huff. "Well, I know that. I was just worried when I didn't find you back where I left you." She admitted and felt the slight weigh of the deer getting moved. She looked at him with a giggle. "You sure you can handle carrying that by yourself there big guy?" She asked, teasing him.

"Shut... it" Chase playfully batted her with a forepaw over the ear, "I can handle anything" he promised boldly, before stumbling a tiny bit from the sudden weight change, but nothing he couldn't handle.

Black Rose rolled her eyes and walked up to him and helped him walk since she saw him stumble a little. "Anything you say.." she licked his cheek. "It's okay to ask for help, you know." She walked side by side with him, meeting his pace and not walking too slow or too fast.

"To be noted" he winked at her with a smile, "But don't think I'll be asking for help often" he wagged. The weight of the prey started to feel more normal and they started to approach camp.
