Hondo limped into the den and saw Luna approaching. "Fighter attacked me, and luckily I drove him away." He said, not telling her that he had had the chance to kill him. "He didnt get me that bad." He said, even though he was still bleeding from his leg and hip, his fur matted and sticky with blood.

Luna nuzzled Hondo. "Do you need Kayleron to check out your wounds" she asked as she glanced at Fang who walked in. "Alphas, is everything alright" he asked. Luna nodded. "Looks like the two you sent to follow Fighter helped Hondo get back to the camp. Thank you" she told her beta.

Hondo returned the nuzzle with giving Luna's ear a quick lick. "Yes, I'll get him to check it out." He said, he tried to put weight on it but immediately flinched, and gave a small grimace. He then looked to Fang. He gave his head a small nod, as a sign of approval. Once Kayleron walked in Hondo lay on the ground, allowing Kayleron to exanine his leg.

Luna paced slightly, her own leg still bothering her, though not as much as before. Her mind raced as she heard Fang speak. "I will send out patrols to be sure he is gone. He doesnt know our territory as well as we do, which will give us an advantage." Luna was grateful to her new beta and nodded. "Please be quick about it" she told him.

Kayleron glanced over Hondo's leg, and in a gruff voice said, "Its only sprained, and badly punctured, with a few herbs you should be up and running in a couple days." Hondo let out a sigh of relief as he rubbed herbs on the wounds soothing them. He gave Hondo some poppy seeds to ease the pain, and once he finished Hondo already felt better. He thanked Kayleron and dismissed him, then turned to Luna and Fang. Luna, pacing around the room, worried Hondo. "Its okay," he said, trying to soothe him. "Everything's okay, just lie down." He flicked his tail towards him, a worrief gaze in his sharp topaz eyes.

Luna sighed. "How many others are upset with us? How many others want us gone? How many more attacks are going to happen" she asked as she couldnt stop her packing. Fang stepped in front of her, giving a small growl to calm her down. "Dont stress Luna" Fang replied. "I will make sure everyone is on alert and I will keep my ears out. Hondo is right. You need to lay down." Luna nodded and did as she was told before Fang walked out of the den.

Hondo was happy that Luna finally laid down, he draped his tail over her hunches and put his head on her shoulder. "Luna." He said, "Everythings alright, as Fang said, he'll protect us, and so will the pack. But for now, he's gone, and he might never comr back." He said this slowly, hopefully not to worry Luna nore. "There is nothing to worry about." With that he gave Luna's cheek and affectionate lick and dozed off.
