Sebastian stared long and hard at Hannah before she threw his keys towards JJ, who caught them low to the ground. He shook his head. "We don't mean anything by it, really. Sebastian here is just always an asshole." JJ stated, trying to lighten up the mood before clearing his throat after Hannah spoke about having to sleep with one eye open. Sebastian glared harder as he made a gesture towards JJ to hand him his keys, which he did so as he then tucked them away in his pocket. "You'll be caught dead before you even know it, Sherwood." Sebastian stated. He meant this by the fact if she was found on Adriel territory and about what Scott and Melody saw them doing earlier. It was rather pathetic, really. She probably wouldn't make it out alive of her own household if they told anybody, and she for sure would be found dead the moment some Adriel found her on their territory. Talk about making threats they won't fall through with, huh? JJ shook his head as he looked at Hannah one last time before following Sebastian back to the cars. He shook his head in disapoinment. As they were getting closer to the car, he pushed Seb. "Are you really kidding me right now?" He asked, raising a brow. Sebastian unlocked his car, spotting the gun in the passenger seat. He turned to his younger brother and scoffed softly before he spoke. "I'm not dead, aren't I?" He said with a hint of sarcasm, meanwhile JJ truly meant it. He had grown concerned for Sebastian. Ever since he found out about the marriage, he'd grown more cold. Not that he already wasn't, but he got more and more distant. Maybe it was the fact he was overwhelmed and it truly was taking a toll on him.
"You might not be dead Seb, but that doesn't mean you get to sit there and harass the girl you're gonna be marrying you asshole." JJ said as he slightly clenched his jaw. He was in disbelief. Maybe it was taking a toll on him too. JJ knew that Sebastian wasn't the greatest person to look up to, but for all fifteen years of his life, Sebastian was the only one he truly ever relied on, and here he was, risking his life. And for what? Sebastian shook his head before he climbed into his Mustang, JJ climbing into Hunter's car shortly after.

Hannah left, not before she turned to put the finger up at Sebastian. A part of her was sad that this was how it was, but the rest was glad. Sherwoods & Adriels don't mix, they never have, and likely never will. She didn't know if it was genetics or a bias, but it didn't seem like something that would happen in her lifetime. Driving home, Hannah sighed, it was going to be mayhem when she arrived. There was no doubt in her mind that Melody and Scott went and snitched on her. It was just who they were, the parents' favourites, always the golden children. Pulling into the garage, she sat in her car for a moment. Hannah did not want to deal with her family's crap right now, but she had to. She didn't have a choice. After a minute, she got out and walked inside. It was quiet, too quiet. Walking around the house, Hannah looked around for everybody, they weren't around. Eventually, she made it to the upstairs library, Hannah could hear whispers inside. Somebody was on the phone. Opening the doors, everyone turned to stare at her, shocked. She could see Scott & Melody in the corner looking ashamed. This couldn't be good. "What the hell?" Her mother grabbed her by the elbow and pulled her into the room. Looking towards her father, he seemed to be having a rather aggressive phone call, she'd find out who it was later from her mother, no doubt. "Is it true you kissed an Adriel?" "Are you out of your mind?" "What the hell is wrong with you?" "Where have you been?" "Who were you with?"
Hannah's mind went blank while her family all began questioning her at once. Turning from person to person, she grew more anxious. They clearly knew, they knew everything. Hannah only had one guess who her father was on the phone with, and it wouldn't be good for anyone. Edited at July 23, 2020 05:42 AM by purge

Nothing was really clear for Sebastian now. Markus would be pissed at him, JJ was upset and disappointed, Hannah was something else, and well, Sebastian was just him. Nothing more than an Adriel who always stroke his huge ego, right? Well, Sebastian was truly hoping he could manage to make things at least decent with everyone, but he never achieved anything. JJ knew that as he stood beside him all this time, but he never gave up on his older brother. Sebastian wished there was more people in his life like his baby brother, but he always pushed people away for the sake of their protection. Nobody wants Seb, everybody just uses him. JJ had returned Hunter's car safely as he returned the keys and walked home. Sebastian was already at the Adriel residence before he heard the distant sound of talking. Markus was on the phone, and he wasn't able to make out any words as their father spoke quietly. JJ bit his lip while Seb slipped up the stairs to go to his room. At least he thought. Markus hung up the phone, his dark gaze turning to see Sebastian up above. "Sebastian Adriel, get your sorry excuse of a being down here," he demanded. "You too," he glanced at JJ, who stood in front of his father as Sebastian approached the pair from coming down the stairs. "I know everything."

Hannah jumped up and quickly left the room, her head was pounding and she could feel her hands shaking. She made it up to her room and laid down on her bed, sighing, she rubbed the sides of her temples. Closing her eyes to soothe the aching in her head, she heard a quiet knock on the door. "Go away" She managed to tell whoever it was, shakily Hannah watched as Scott walked in and sat on the bed next to her in silence, she could see he was ashamed. So he should be, this was his fault for going and telling her family what had happened, one could only guess at who her father was speaking to on the phone. Hannah knew this wouldn't be fun for her or Sebastian, both their families knew and now they'd have to figure this all out. After this, she knew there was little chance her father would call this all off, it wasn't certain, but it was unlikely. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't realize what would happen" Scott apologized, avoiding her glare. "Yeah right" "I'm serious, Hannah" "Just get out" Scott sighed as she watched him get up. Hannah closed her eyes once more as she heard him walking towards the door. Maybe for a moment she'd actually be able to rest in peace. With everyone having a tantrum downstairs, they likely wouldn't bother her for a good 8 hours. Enough time for her to sleep & figure out what to do next. "You know, I'm not mad. Annoyed maybe, but not mad. I know for a fact you didn't actually kiss him because you wanted to, I'm not stupid. But maybe you should just give him a chance, if you ask me" "Well, I didn't ask you" Hannah glared at him, before turning so her back was to him. She knew he had a point, but she didn't overly want to, she didn't overly want to even see him again, let alone-. It just wouldn't really work out. But a part of her believed him, a part of her wanted to give him another chance.

Sebastian scoffed. "She started it, not me." He commented sarcastically. It was true though, Hannah did in fact make the first move on him. Yes, he did it back, but that doesn't mean he was the one who started it. In no way was Sebastian trying to blame everything on Hannah, cause neither JJ or Sebastian should've been on Sherwood territory, but nobody expected that to happen. "Doesn't matter who started it. If I get another call of either of you being on Sherwood land or what happened between you and Hannah, you will for sure be leaving this household and I will not tolerate it. Creating a bigger mess will not happen." Markus kept his composure, but the boys could tell he was angered and annoyed. They couldn't blame them though, they knew better. Markus let out a soft sigh before shaking his head. "Out of my sight, both of you," he said as he turned around, heading towards the kitchen. JJ and Sebastian slipped up the stairs, JJ giving Sebastian a confused look as he quickly slipped into his brother's room. Sebastian glared at his brother. "What did you do, Seb?" JJ asked. He was obviously and genuinely concerned for his brother. JJ didn't care what it was, he just wanted to know. "Don't worry about it. I'll tell you later." Sebastian said as he sat down on his king sized bed, looking at JJ who stood near the door. He shook his head.
"Come on, just tell me. If Markus already knows, it's not like I would run and go tell him anyways." JJ slightly pressured. He wasn't trying to be annoying, seeing that they both gotten themselves in trouble, but regardless, he wanted to know. "We kissed. And don't start being all whatever because we did, it wasn't like that. To be fair, she kissed me first, I did kiss back eventually, but then some other Sherwoods caught us. I don't think it was actually gonna go anywhere though." Sebastian shook his head, looking down at the ground. He felt stupid but relieved that he told JJ. "You should talk to her like a human being, not like a Sherwood. Maybe that could go somewhere. I mean, you are marrying her after all." JJ slightly raised a brow. Sebastian shrugged. "Sure, but she's a Sherwood-" "Quit with the stereotypes, Seb."

Scott left his sister's room and walked back upstairs, re-joining the family in the library. When he walked in, his father was discussing something with their mother. Most likely; the phone call. His father noticed him and rushed over, grabbing him by the shoulder "You see her with that boy again, you tell me, understand?" "Yes, sir" Scott answered warily. Whatever had been said on the phone, it was not ending well for Hannah. But the one question he had, was this marriage still going ahead? Hannah sighed before closing her eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep- there was a couple, swimming in a lake, in perfect harmony. there was no fighting, no yelling, just two people in love. hannah could see them from the shore, but it felt so familiar. Déjà vu perhaps. but yet, it wasn't. her anxiety spiking as she seemed to be gradually getting close to the couple, until she could see exactly who it was- Hannah woke suddenly, her heart racing and her breathing ragged. Hannah looked around her room, as if she could find an answer to the dream here. Hannah heard footsteps approaching her room, she watched as Melody burst into her room, looking worried. "What are you doing?" Melody asked her, concerned "Wha- Sleeping, what are you doing?" "I could hear you talking from my room" "I was asleep, it must have been someone else" "It was coming from your room- who's Sebastian?" "What?" "Sebastian- that was the name you said"

"There's no way in hell that we could work things out. Isn't that obvious? You literally saw her with a gun pointed at me." Sebastian said as he looked at JJ. He shook his head. In no way was anything gonna work between the Adriels and Sherwoods. For over a decade they had been going at each others' throats, what would suddenly change now? Sure, the marriage was there to create some sort of peace, but nobody would know how long it would last, or even if it would create peace. "Just think about it. Nobody wants to continue this sort of feud for no reason... Even if I did make it worse with the robbery, but regardless, just think about it, okay? Maybe you could send her a fucking letter or something," JJ said trying to brighten the mood. Seb scoffed. "I'm going to bed," JJ then announced as he exited Sebastian's room, making his way to his own. Sebastian slipped off his shirt and lay down on his bed, staring up on the ceiling before he turned to his side, facing the door that lead out to the balcony, which overviewed the city. He closed his eyes for a moment. Finally being at peace with the Sherwoods, let alone Hannah? He was in disbelief, but he had to at least try.

"It's none of your business, get out" Hannah snapped at Melody. She was being unfair, she knew that, but she didn't know if there was anyone she could really trust anymore. Hannah had always been too trusting, until one night with her (now) former-bestfriend literally stabbed her in the back, with a knife. She hadn't been overly trusting with anyone but her family since that, the fact that somebody would be so willing to destory others for their own greed scared her, she wasn't going to let something like that happen again. The simple solution was purely to stop being trusting, but the downfall of that, she found it hard to actually trust people, even when she wanted to. Hannah sighed before getting up and getting up to stand at her window, it was a floor-ceiling window, she chose it for a reason; she'd easily be able to sneak in and out without being caught, Opening it, she crawled out and sat with her legs dangling over the side. The drop was rather large, as she was on the second storey & the bottom floor had custom high ceilings, but it didn't scare her. Hannah had never been afraid of things like heights or danger, at the low times, they helped her. Whenever Hannah was going through a rough time, she just goes completely numb and reckless, the things that rush the adrenaline through her helped her actually feel something.

Sebastian had tossed and turn throughout his sleep, only to find himself awake rather late in the night. Or perhaps morning, as some people would have to awake at this certain time to go to work. Sebastian shook his head as he felt defeated, laying there on his back as he stared up at the ceiling. What if JJ was right? What if he could try to make his and Hannah's relationship better and they could maybe get along? But with all the stereotypes, it almost felt impossible and that it would never, ever happen in a million years. Sebastian wasn't sure at this point. There would be a lot of pros and cons, but who knew how far it could go with either one of the pros and cons. Sebastian sighed before sitting up, slowly creeping towards the door leading out the balcony.
Sebastian opened the doors, feeling the cool air hit his face. He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep inhale before opening them. The sky was just darkness, no stars could be found. The moon was high and bright, although that didn't really matter to Sebastian. He overlooked the neighborhood and city with a sense of pride, but he still felt so alone. Almost as if nothing really mattered but this stupid marriage to end a feud that he felt like should've ended years ago, maybe even months ago he would be content with. But no, Sebastian never made those choices, nor could he really stop it. Nothing really did matter, not even what he had to say or do.
Sebastian had clenched his hand around the railing before he turned back around, his back leaning against the railing. He scoffed at himself before facing out towards the neighborhood and city, feeling like he just needed to jump. It was only two stories high, but it would do enough damage. Just below him was concrete, so it wasn't like if he jumped it would be for nothing. Sebastian didn't feel anything from this though. He just felt so empty and alone.
He needs someone.

Hannah sighed, her mind drifting back to Sebastian, she knew there was clearly never going to be anything between them, but somehow, she had a feeling-. Ignoring it, Hannah focussed her attention back onto the view in front of her. She could see all of Sherwood land, as well as the small woods separating the two territiories. She sighed before going downstairs and getting a glass of iced water. Hannah cursed as she noticed her thoughts being directed at Sebastian once more, he'd be asleep, nobody is awake at this hour. After a moment of thought, Hannah knew what to do to get her mind off things. Making her way to her room, Hannah grabbed a swimsuit before heading towards her car. Quietly starting the engine and driving out of the garage, Hannah drove towards that wood. She knew from experience, there was a small lake in the middle of it, Hannah would often meet friends there as technically, it was neutral land. During summer, it was always warm enough to go swimming in the lake, but truthfully, the cold never really effected her as much as it should. Every now and then, she'd just go and swim in the lake, staring up at the stars, escaping the chaos of her life, even if only for a few hours. Making sure she didn't wake her family, Hannah made the short trip towards the wood as she had done earlier this morning, she came to this place way too often to be inconspicuous about it. Hannah didn't really care though, it was her favourite place and she wasn't about to give it up. Once she had arrived, Hannah walked through the trail, but made a left halfway in. The side-trail led to the lake directly. Ducking past the low hanging branches of the willow trees, Hannah could see the moon reflecting beautifully on the glasslike surface of the water. The lake is always beautiful, but at night, it was just etheral looking, the night sky reflecting, the dark abyss of the water, the closely lining of graceful willow trees around the waters edge. There was a big rock ledge a few metres above the water level you could dive into the water from. Hannah quickly hid her bag in a nearby tree hollow, after she had changed into her swimsuit. The black fabric was difficult to see in the water, but her pale skin was lit up in the moonlight. The pure view of the place gave her goosebumps, and yet, she wasn't cold, despite the freezing water that already reached her waist, the ends of her hair flowing around her.
