Theo smiled as she suggested seeing his games. It would be nice to have someone he actively looked for in the crowd. He felt happy that she was willing to watch him play rugby. As there were more students filling the halls, he felt more nervous, about the chatter and the whispers. He normally liked people whispering, but this felt different. He didn't want anyone talking negatively about them, which he was confident was going to happen. They clearly had nothing better to do. But, that's what happens when you're in college.
He accepted her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers, before squeezing her hand gently and walking toward the outside. As they walked, people who weren't at the pub yesterday, now knew that Theo had moved onto someone else. Not that it was a shock, but the shock was who it was with. Theo rolled his eyes slightly as they were walking.
The girl who texted him last night, Millie, walked up to them, frowning and her arms folding tightly across her chest. She was wearing a very revealing dress that did leave much to the imagination. "Theo, baby, who is this skank?" She snapped, swatting his hand away from Wren's. Millie was the girl who Theo used to see most recently. Theo eventually got bored as usual and broke it off with her. Safe to say, Millie didn't take it well. Before Theo could react, she leaned in and pressed herself against his chest. "Come on, let's give it another go?" She asked, fluttering her eyelashes and giggling. Theo just sighed softly and pushed her away gently. "Millie, I'm not interested," he said, trying to be polite. He didn't get angry with women, and never laid his finger on them.

Wren did her best to ignore the others, not wanting any negativity to bring her down. She just wanted to focus on Theo. No one else mattered, nor their opinions, she reminded herself. People were going to talk and gossip, and she imagined that there would be more men trying to steal her away from Theo now that they thought she was willing and on the market. She had to be prepared for drama. And drama there was.. Wren scoffed, clearly offended as she looked the other girl up and down. "Oh, I'm the skank, now am I?" She snapped, her hand going to rest on the curve of her hip. Who the hell was she? Seeing her press up to Theo stirred up dark and ugly jealous in Wren, a frown of her own appearing. She didn't like that at all. She wasn't surprised to hear that Millie was one of his past conquests, but she could tell the girl wasn't going to let it go so easily. The ones who went after Theo never did. Wren moved to position herself in front of Theo, her chin lifted in defiance as she instinctively protected the person she had deemed as hers. "Back off, yeah?" She told her, not nearly as polite as Theo was being. She knew he wouldn't be rough with a woman, but that didn't mean she wouldn't do it for him if boundaries were crossed. Wren typically was nonconfrontational, but Theo did seem to arouse a wild streak in her.

Mille scoffed and widened her eyes at Wren's words. She turned to face her, raising one eyebrow, "Hey, he's only interested because we're no longer together. Don't you get it? You're the rebound," she said in a patronising tone. Theo put his arm around Wren's shoulders, pulling her in closer to avoid some sort of fight. "Millie, go away, I'm not interested," he repeated, frowning at her and feeling a horrible feeling in his stomach. He hated drama between girls. He didn't mind when it came to men, but he hated drama with women.
Millie just looked back to Theo and her frown turned into sadness. "But I loved you Theo, I still do," she sniffled, wiping a non exisitent tear from her eye. Theo knew she was just pretending, and there wasn't any love there. Millie just wanted attention from any guy, and she just made a bee line for Theo because he was with another women. All he did was shake his head, rolling his eyes. "No you don't Millie, now leave us alone," he said, trying to avoid conflict.
Millie turned back to frowning, huffing and puffing like a wolf. "No! I won't have you holding hands with this weirdo! He doesn't like you, he likes me!" She shouted, making other people in the corridor snap their heads in the direction of the shouting from Millie. Oh dear, she was getting more and more angry as the seconds went on.

Wren scowled at her, huffing softly as Theo pulled her closer to keep anything rash from happening. "Rebound? Funny, he's been pursuing me for ages. Are you sure you weren't just a place saver?" She hissed, her own anger bubbling up. She never fought, but she couldn't stand idle when someone was speaking like that to her face. She wasn't afraid that Theo was interested in Millie, she could tell he wasn't, but that didn't stop her from being irritated, especially when she claimed to love him. Wren wasn't even paying attention to the others in the hall. "If he liked you, he'd have been holding your hand. But he said he's not interested!" She told her, shaking out of Theo's grasp as she got into Millie's space. She didn't appreciate being called weird either. Just because she didn't throw herself at every available man or dress scantly like most college girls didn't mean she was weird. Different, maybe, but at least her head was in the right place. "Why don't you go be desperate somewhere else, babes," she taunted, raising an eyebrow as she looked at Millie with a challenging expression. "You've been told to leave us alone, so again, back off and find someone else to pester." With that, Wren pushed her hands against Millie's shoulders, giving her a small shove back to make her point.
