To be honest the only reason I train in teams is because I have too many mid-level wolves to train them all individually

Level 5 was great before it got updated, the higher levels get super difficult if there's a monthly event though :') My team usually dies early but at least I can do quests with my DG team if they do

Its better to save maybe 2000 mushrooms, make sure there is a lot of CP on the wolves, and then buy moves and buy blue jay feathers and just go through it. Yeah they'll die a decent amount of times, however, you'll make more mush for it in the end if your wolves have good cp

I understand that a lot of people think be training in forest 1-2 is better, but the higher level you go, the higher amount of prey/enemies there are.

Character’s full name:

Crew Evelyn Harris Sinclair

Reason or meaning of name:

Crew’s name stems from many familial ties, and most of them can be traced back many generations

Character’s nickname:

TBA

Birth date:

5/27

Age:

22

Physical appearance:

Crew is all white teeth, and big smiles. He is sunshine, warmth, and sandy beaches. He is a 6'2 bundle of blonde hair and muscles, and he is beautiful. His big green eyes are captivating, and something about the warmth found there draws people in. He has an athletic build, and uses it to his advantage in everything he can think of. His face is well-built, with a strong, square jaw, and high, sloping cheekbones. His eyes are not deep set, unlike his father's, and his dimples pop whether he is smiling or not. He doesn't wear glasses, nor does he wear contacts. The Sinclairs do not need to wear any sort of correction, because, from the outside, they are already perfect. Why would they need something so trivial? His skin is warm and tanned, pristine as a placid lake. The few scars he sports along his legs come from sports, and those were to be expected, of course. Crew was born to play sports. Back in Massachusetts, every fall, every break, every time not spent in school was to be spent in physical activity. Tennis, lacrosse, baseball. He is the epitome of a handsome young man from the East Coast, prepared to become everything he was meant to be.

His most distinguishing marks are his stature, and his face. The Sinclairs have a very distinct way of look, that stems from generations of tall, blonde, happy people getting married, and having tall, blonde, happy children. Crew follows after these expectations perfectly, with his vigorous height, his cheerful nature, and then hair that is so unmistakable. These blond locks fall long over the summer, when he refuses to have it cut, and it will curl slightly around his ears, softening that clear-cut jawline. He rarely styles his hair, given the amount of time spent in the water, on the beach, or on various sports fields, why would he? It stays neatly out of his face for the most part, so he is satisfied. Crew's voice is rather low and smooth, and his enunciations are clear and precise. Every word is meant exactly as it is said, unless he is in a temperamental frame of mind. Overall, he is found attractive by the girls he knows, and he makes a point to keep it that way. He is the product of two of the wealthiest families on the East Coast.. Why shouldn't he be praised and adored? Treasured and doted upon?

Crew dresses like a young gentleman for the most part. He will wear the proper tuxedos and polo shirts, the jumpers over button-down shirts, He will wear the ties as expected, his shirts buttoned all the way up his throat. But the summers are his, and his alone. Linen shorts and shirts find their moments, as do his less casual clothes. However, if he could truly have his way, he would be quite content to wear nothing but his swimsuit, and spend long summer evenings on tiny, secluded coves, sipping a whiskey and sour, soaking the last rays of the sun's warmth. Crew normally doesn't wear many accessories, but occasionally he will wear a simple, silver chain with his sisters' initials engraved on a small pendant.

Personality:

Crew is ambitious and smart enough, and uses these to his advantage when he can. He is quick witted, and easy to laugh, but once he's formed an opinion, he is not willing to change it. He is stubborn and articulate, and loves to debate and argue, whether for fun, or if he means it. For the most part, he is curious and creative, and will listen well, especially if it might teach him something new, that he can use to look even more intelligent later. Crew is very adventurous, and is always ready to do something that could lead to danger or trouble. Risk-taking is a trait he is known for, and one his parents have tried time and time again to rid him of, to no avail. He is loyal to a point, but the moment he has a reason to distrust you, he will start to pull away. Despite this, Crew often comes off as arrogant and forgetful, which he tries to not show, but occasionally will surface. His impulsivity can lead to terrible consequences, and he never seems to take anything away from his failures. Some would see it as resilience, others more as pig-headedness. He is snarky, and his sharp tongue can often come off as more harsh than he intended. He is also very disorganised, and his rooms would be a wreck if it weren't for the help his parents inevitably employ.

He has a very dry, dark sense of humour, which many people in the upper echelons of society do not understand, nor do they appreciate, which has gotten him into trouble many a time. His greatest joys in life are his athletic endeavours, and his two younger sisters. His greatest fear in life is losing his sisters, especially the one who is only a few years younger than him. He is most at ease when he is with his family, or with close friends, though occasionally he will close himself off if he doesn't know a lot of people. He prioritises his relationships above his athletics, and his athletics career above his academic career. When he was younger, he struggled greatly with anxiety and depression, mostly stemming from the pressure of his parents, though he was put on medication for it when he was nine, and never looked back. Who cares if sometimes, he takes a few more pills than necessary? Who cares if he can't sleep at night without having a large alcoholic beverage, or some heavy duty meds? He certainly doesn't. It's perfectly normal, and he is perfectly fine.

His life goals currently revolve around finishing college at Princeton, and taking on the family business, which he honestly isn't positive what is. His father prefers to not speak of his job with the family, especially in front of his wife. Crew also plans on continuing to play his favourite sports, and, if time allows, he is hoping to be able to travel around Europe with a group of his friends, or perhaps a partner.

Relationships:

Mother (Rosamund Sinclair):

Rosamund Sinclair married young, and married high. She was known for being a beauty, and carries on her family legacy with her well-known parties, clambakes, and any other reason to celebrate. She recently celebrated her fortieth birthday, and is having a hard time accepting that she is beginning to grow older. Despite her fluttery nature, she is a warm, maternal figure for all her children, and raised them well.

Father (Preston Sinclair):

Preston Sinclair is the polar opposite of his wife, especially in public. He is closed off, and keeps his feelings and business endeavours close to his chest. However, at Rosamund’s many parties, he takes time out of his busy schedule to socialise with her guests, and participates in any events she has planned. He tolerates his children, but none of them would ever say they feel particularly loved by their father. He rarely dines with them, and when the Sinclairs head to California for their summers, he does not accompany them.

Siblings:

-Kennedy Caroline Sinclair:

Only two year younger than Crew, Kennedy Sinclair is everything she expected to be. A bright, blonde beauty, she is smart and sweet, and fun-loving. She and Crew get along like a house on fire, and when they were younger, were rarely seen without each other. Now, their interests have changed slightly, but they still hold quite an impressive sibling rivalry and affection for each other. Kennedy is planning on attending Harvard, and often helps her mother with the huge parties she throws.

-Clementine Margaux Sinclair:

Clementine is the youngest Sinclair, and a rainbow baby. Rosamund had wanted three children for a long time, but had suffered through multiple miscarriages after Kennedy. She began to lose hope around the time Crew was turning fifteen, but to everyone’s attention pleasant surprise, Clementine made her appearance ten days after her big brother turned ten. Now, at eleven years old, she is taking after her big sister, and any attention from her siblings is greeted with big smiles and joy. Despite her being the youngest, and a surprise, she is not treated with any more favour or affection than her siblings.

Extended Family:

Grandmother-Maternal (Lacey Alberts)

Rosamund's estranged mother. After her daughter married into a wealthy family, Lacey lost touch with her, and only met each of her grandchildren once, at their Catholic infant baptisms. The children do not know much about her, and know better than to bring her up.

(Age 76)

Grandfather-Maternal (Terrence Alberts)

(Deceased)

Grandmother-Paternal (Delilah Sinclair)

Delilah is a strong, independent woman. Well-liked by the upper echelons, this older woman was a beauty in her youth, and remains a force to be reckoned with. She is very sweet with her grandchildren, but has a sense of menace around her. Delilah is known for her mistreatment of staff within the household.

(Age 66)

Grandfather-Paternal (Harrison Sinclair)

Harrison Sinclair is a coy but genial older man. Not much is known about how he amassed his fortunes, but most assume it was not through legal means. He is private about most of his business matters, but loves to brag about the money he is still making. Amongst the cousins, he is known for picking favorites.

(Age 70)

Aunt-Paternal (Jordyn Sinclair-Larkin)

A tall, stately woman, firmly set in her ideals and morals. She is an eldest child, and still holds this feeling over her younger brother. Her husband, Ryan, was killed in a 'boating accident' when she was pregnant with her youngest child. Many of the details that would prove her involvement are sparse and at least are not public, so there is a great suspicion surrounding the whole incident.

(Age 32)

Cousins

Drew Katherine Larkin

The eldest Larkin child, and the second Sinclair grandchild. She is quite the spitfire, and spends her days with Kennedy, on the beach. She is less than fond of her mother, and has made it quite clear to the whole family that she has no intention of following the expectations laid before her. She is planning on attending a small college for a degree in women's studies.

(Age 17)

Taft Darcy Larkin

The second grandson, and fine young man. Taft is a handsome young man, and his mother's pride and joy. He is fond of debate and law, and looks up to his grandfather, and uncle. He was not too young when his father died, but refuses to mention any grief he may be feeling, and has not attended therapy.

(Age 15)

Juliette Delilah Larkin

Her mother's youngest, and a joy to the family. She adores all her cousins, and very much looks up to all of them. Amongst the eldest cousins, she is considered a pest, too young to be with them and their more adult problems. Even so, they are kind, knowing better than to risk the wrath of their grandmother.

(Age 3)

Pets:

The Sinclair family has always had at least one dog, normally two or three. Right now, they are happily engaged with a Doberman pinscher, Cha-Cha, and a Golden Retriever, Dixie. Cha-Cha spends all his time at the East Coast house, but Dixie travels with the family.

The Larkin Family, who spends most of their summers with the Sinclairs, also have two Golden Retrievers, Goose and Sir.

Character Name:
Liane Rose Stark
Nickname:
TBA
Birthdate:
7/11
Age:
20
Physical Appearance:
(please bear with me, I am AWFUL at describing people XD)
Liane has always been on the shorter side, standing at a mere 5'2. She has always been more on the curvy side, but more of a built "bottom-heavy" kind of curvy. She has a "plain" complexion. Not too tanned but not too pale, more like someone who rarely spends time outside. She does have a light array of light brown freckles that is sprinkled across the bridge of her nose and top part of her cheeks. She has a delicate face, with full, slightly bottom pout shaped lips that have a natural rosy tint. Her nose has a unique shape where from the front, it has a slight upturned look, and from the side angle, her bridge is slightly raised, giving her nose a very "German" look. She has bright, slightly downturned eyes, that are a shimmering amber color. She has ash blonde colored hair, that is cropped about midway between her chin and shoulders. She usually keeps her hair tucked behind her ears, but it usually just does whatever it wants. Her natural hair texture has a slight wave to it and only further accentuates her soft facial features. Her overall appearance can be considered attractive in a very soft, "cottagecore" kind of vibes.
Liane rarely wears makeup, asides from some eye makeup to help make them pop, and some lip gloss. If she's not in a work uniform, she usually sports a very relaxed fit. Either some t shirts and athletic shorts, or most often a flow sundress. She HATES wearing clothes she doesn't find comfortable and often just prefers to throw a dress on to "avoid having to find pants" as she says. Most of her wardrobe is lighter colors and bold colors, but not very dark. She likes colors and usually does not wear black, unless it is an accent. She also very much hates shoes and is either found barefoot or in sandals, obviously unless she is working.
She does have a few peircings and a tattoo. She has a singular nostril peircing that she usually prefers to have a gold hoop in, but changes it out to a clear straight bar to make it look like she doesn't have a facial peircing. Her ears are decorated with a few different jewels and small hoops here and there, from her lobe up to her cartilage. Her navel(bellybutton) has also been peirced. She does have one tattoo, that holds a lot of sentimental value to her. The tattoos she managed to scrape enough money together to get it as a "self birthday present." The peircings can be accredited to not being the smartest and trusting her friends with needles. The tattoo is of an overhead view of a dragon, that is a deep crimson in color with beautiful shading, the tail starts at the bottom of her spine, and the nose ends between her shoulder blades. The wings are splayed out in a flying position where the wing tips reach just on the sides of her ribs.
Personality:
Liane has never been the most emotionally stable, but after the altercation with her mother, she almost has been thrust into a personality crisis. She has always been a hardworker, just like her mom, but she was much more carefree and hopeful for a bright future in college with a good scholarship. But not too far into her first year of college is when her mother was diagnosed with early onset dementia. The first month after was rough, Liane receeded entirely and was no contact with anyone for the entire time. The most she socialized was at work and that was mostly due to necessity.
After some time, Liane just picked herself up and threw herself into working unreasonably long hours at any job. She was having to foot not only the rent, but now her mother's medical bills. The doctors recommended her to be placed with a caretaker since Liane could not stay home all the time, and her mother posed a risk to her own safety so she had to be supervised at almost all times.
Liane is seen as introvertive, reclusive, and rather stand-offish. She is quiet and polite, but not a push over. She likes to just get her job down and get out with her head down, but she will stand firm on something if she believes it right. She has a "no-bullsh*t" outlook on things, especially when it comes to her job. She likes things done her way, and is rather particular and probably considered OCD. Liane is incredibly smart and resilient, it often doesn't take her long to figure things out and before you know it, she can work circles around people who've been doing the same job for longer.
Although Liane can be seen as a "stiff" at work, outside of work, she seems much more relaxed. She doesn't spend much time away from her home outside of work, as most of her friends didn't stick around after her recession, but she's okay with that. (Not really but oh well, trauma builds character.) She likes her peace and quiet, and the only hobbies she might say she has is reading, and tending to the small garden she finally managed to get growing. She used to love hiking before she got super busy and reclusive. She still loves the outdoors and has many various plants littered around her home.
Even though she likes the comfort of her own, Liane does have a few weaknesses: coffee and sweets, especially ice cream, and even better, coffee ice cream. Occasionally she takes a stroll around to find a coffee shop or ice cream parlor if she has a little bit of excess money saved up, but she tries to avoid pointless spending. She loves coffee scented things, and lemon scented stuff for some reason as well. She loves baking and cooking, and especially making sweet little treats here and there. She also always smells like freshly baked cookies. Her home is light and airy, with a very, as aforementioned, cottage vibes.
Relationships:
MOTHER
Jayne Dahlia Stark (pronounced like Jane)
Jayne was a taller woman, with also a rather "hippy" build like her daughter. She stayed pretty, and still is, with a complexion very similar to Liane's, but with darker hair and blue eyes. Jayne was a hardworker, a single mother raising Liane, who often didn't have the best taste in men and was always moving depending on what job or boyfriend she had, but she always tried to be a good mother. Her and Liane had always been the best of friends and were each other's biggest form of support. Until Jayne was diagnosed with early onset dementia. Apparently it is heridatary but Jayne refused to talk about their family to much to Liane. Jayne has been with a caretaker since her diagnosis for almost a year now. She has good days and bad days, and can't always recognize people she knows, but she knows Liane, she just doesn't know how or why.
OTHER:
Liane never had much relation with any family outside her mother. Her mother never spoke of her side of the family, and her father ditched before she was ever even born and her mother also refused to speak about him. Liane didn't have many friends in the first place, but after her recession after her mother's diagnosis, the few friends she did have stopped contacting her and Liane always had the mindset, "if they don't want to talk to me, I won't talk to them." Liane is the reason for her isolation, but maybe she'll figure that out at some point.
Liane does have a betta fish that she managed to put a nice tank together for. She loves all kinds of animals, but with as much as she works, it would not be fair for any other animal to be kept in her home. At least with a fish, with a proper tank set up and fed at least once-twice a day, they're pretty low maintenance.

START OF RP:

The day started out chilly, winter not quite ready to release it's hold and allow spring to take over. The sky was a dreary sort of gray, almost like it knew today was going to be a bad day. The business of everyone waking up was causing this town in Boston to become quite noisy already, even so early in the day. An invited smell of coffee dribbling out the door of a cafe with pretty font painted all over the windows. The cafe was pretty notable in the area, they were pricey but had good coffee and put their baristas in questionable outfits so people came to see.
"I put in this request weeks ago. Every week on Wednsday, I go see my mom. That is how I have always done it. I am not stopping now because you forgot about it." A short woman with ash blonde hair stood in front of a rather grumpy looking older man, who seemed rather disinterested in what she had to say.
"Miss Stark. Your poor planning is not my problem. You will be working that day, end of story." he scoffed back. Leaning back in his chair like he was pleased with himself.
Liane sucked part of her bottom lip in as she sat and calculated her words. This dumb oaf is really trying to blame her, when her availability had been blocked out on Wednsdays, because those were the days her caretaker allowed her to be taken out so Liane always took her mother to go see old places they used to visit. It was one of the few times she got to spend quality time with her.
Her boss fixated with a rather annoyed, arched brow, as if awaiting a response.
Liane was still quiet a moment longer. Every possible scenario running through her head as she stared this awful man who'd been her boss for 6 months now. 6 d*mn months and he couldn't even remember the one day she has specified she cannot work. "Have a nice day." Was all Liane responded in a very short tone. Ripping the apron off her body in a very dramatic yank and laid it on his desk. Luckily the had to provide their own uniform, a pair of clingy black pants partnered with either a blue, brown, or black low cut tee was the dress code here.
Her boss had a look of shock and/or surprise on his face, like he was enraged and startled at the same time. But Liane did not give him time to respond, only wheeled out the door. A coworker attempted a nosy query about why Liane had spoke to the boss, but she only got shoved past.
Liane emerged out onto the sidewalk and took in a deep breath as the realization of what she done settled in. She had been working at Marie's Coffee for almost 3 years now. She had had various other jobs in that time span, but she always stayed at Marie's. Despite its boasting about being a small business, it is partly a chain. It started out as a small business but as popularity for their fun and themed drinks grew, they were purched by a business runner who decided to keep it low key they were no longer a small business. Oops company secret, oh well.
The saltiness of the nearby ocean tingled in the air, mixing with the aroma of sweet coffee, it almost made Liane gag. But was that from the smell or the anxiety welling up in her gut. She had just quit her main job. Marie's paid well and often included lots of tips so that is why she stayed so long. Beginning walking down the street, her eyes down as she watched her feet walk. Could she find another waitress job somewhere? Liane often kept Marie's as her main job, and would jump around between a few other businesses here and there that kept has as a backup employee. She's been a waitress, a bartender (although don't tell anyone she was under 21 and wasn't supposed to be back there, but no one questioned it,) a daycare assistant, she's even cleaned some houses if she managed to have a free day other than Wednesday. Liane had most jobs figured out, or could figure them out shortly. But right now she had to figure out A job in general.
Liane also had a terrible habit of eavesdropping. Especially on strangers. It was just so fun listening to bits and peices of other's people drama and life, even though you know nothing about them.
"I could not take it anymore. There was always so many demands! and the mess?! yuck!" a rather tall and slender red head was walking with her friend, rather slowly, in front of Liane. She wore cute printed pants and a thick sweater with her pretty red hair tucked into a bun, beanie thing. Her friend was slightly shorter, with brunette hair and sweatpants and a hoodie.
"I don't blame you girl, but at the same time, it's so sad you dont get to look at Crew anymore though." the brunette responded with a giggle.
The red head pondered for a moment, "almost made me consider getting my job back." the red head responded, then cackled, "nah, the Sinclair's can find a new maid!" she exclaimed, then looped their arms together as they continued laughing and chatting.
Liane stopped dead in her tracks. How convenient she overhead that conversation now. It's almost like it's a cheesy story or something.
"Sinclair...Sinclair... I know that name..." she muttered barely audible as she reached to pull her phone out and google that name. Almost immediately a bunch of pictures of a gorgeous blonde family popped up. Large family too. Everyone was absolutely stunning. Liane frowned slightly. Am I really this desperate? she thought to herself as her eyes lingered over their family photo probably a moment too long.
With an exhale, she set off in the direction of the Sinclair home. Thank you internet, no more privacy. Is it weird to go up to someone's house and be like, "hey, overheard an ex maid that she quit, you need a replacement?" with like some jazz hands or some sh*t? Why on earth was she doing this? What in her brain told her this was a good idea?
These were questions she kept asking herself as she stopped in front of their home. Their massive, gorgeous home. This was almost like a scene from a corny hallmark movie.
Welp, here goes nothing. Liane pushed herself forward to announce her presence.

Crew was sprawled across the couch in the front parlor when he heard someone knocking on the door. He debated getting it, but not only would his mother be horrified, but he didn't feel as if whoever it was deigned him actually moving when it was so early. He rolled onto his side, and frowned when he saw the large grandfather clock in the corner. There was no way it was already almost ten. He started to sit up, but it was at that moment that the head butler, Dorian Becker, headed to the door to open it. Crew started to prop himself up on his elbow so he could see who it was, but it was at that moment that his sister chose to launch herself from the doorway, where she'd been hiding, down onto his midsection. He coughed, pushing at her.
"Dammit, Kennedy," he yelled, pushing her partway off his lungs.
She opened her mouth to respond, but Crew put a finger on her lips, wanting to hear whatever was going on in the hall next to him. To his dismay, the conversation seemed to be over, and he sat up all the way, Kennedy falling down onto his knees with a squeal. It was that moment that Dorian walked back by, a girl on his heels. Crew cocked his head, trying to figure out who she was, and it was at that moment that the girl turned her own head, for just a second, a brief moment of eye contact; amber on icy blue. He startled back, pushing Kennedy off him, but by the time he'd made it to the door, the butler and the girl were gone.
"You expecting anyone?" He asked his sister, who was slowly standing up, rubbing bruised shins.
"No," she snapped, clearly put out by her brother's less than affectionate morning greetings. Even so, she knew a way to bother him even more, and called for the dogs. They came thundering down from wherever they'd been, a large golden floof of Dixie, their long suffering and cheerful Retriever, and a sleeker blur of their Doberman, who both pounced on Crew, tumbling on the floor with their boy. He sighed, and played with the dogs for a few minutes, Kennedy egging them on from the couch, and occasionally getting caught up by an overly excited canine. Thankfully, a few minutes later, the cook called for the dogs' breakfast, and they galloped off down the halls.
Crew finally remembered what he'd actually wanted to know, so he stood up, brushing dog hair off of him, and started out into the hallway, Kennedy trailing behind him, mostly to see if there was anything else she could do to annoy him before breakfast. As he headed down the hall, past his mother's office, he heard her talking to someone and he paused, Kennedy running into his back. As they lingered outside the heavy wooden door, they were able to catch a bit of the conversation.
"Yes," Rosamund was saying. "Salary will be $28 an hour, and you will stay here. You may have one day off per week. I will expect you to help with whatever the other staff asks, and if one of the children is in need of something, prioritise them."
Crew and Kennedy glanced at each other, the last maid must've quit. It was fine, she hasn't been that nice anyways. He couldn't remember her name even.
"Would you like to meet them all? Before you make a decision?" Rosamund was asking.
Crew flinched. If his mother caught him and his sister eavesdropping, they'd really be in for it. They pushed to get away from the door as the girl seemed to make a noise of affirmation, and they scampered away down the hall, slipping into a different room. Their mother found them a moment later, and asked them to please gather the household, they would be waiting in the front parlor, and the two nodded. Once their mother was gone, they divided up the people in the house, and headed off into the depths of the mansion. Ten minutes later, a small stream of people headed into the parlor, arranging themselves perfectly. This was not a new thing, lining up for a new maid/nanny candidate. There were three maids that were always employed: Ivy, Margaret, and Betty. They stood in front of Molly, the cook, and next to her stood Dorian and Luke, the male staff. Then, on the sides stood the children. Arranged in age order as always, Crew, the his sister, their cousin Drew, then Taft, and the babies at the very end, softly chattering.
It was honestly embarrassing how many times they'd done this, it was practically habit now, weekly ritual. Crew was suddenly hyper aware that he was still in his pajamas: a soft pair of flannel pants and a well worn Harvard T-shirt. His mother would be angry later, but he'd deal with it. All the cousins were, it was still early in the Sinclair home. Half the time, the older cousins weren't even up until noon. They'd had to rouse Drew out of a deep slumber, and she was looking much less joyful than was expected of the family. However, this did give him an opportunity to study the new candidate. She seemed nice enough, but short. At least a full foot shorter than him, and the whole Sinclair family was known for being tall. There wasn't much that was startling about her, just a normal young woman looking for a new job. She was dressed oddly for a job interview at such a high end house though. Tight pants and low cut blouse. He leaned on the wall, half listening to his mother introduce the other staff, and then he introduced himself, and they went down the row, from him to his baby cousin Juliette. Jules was what she preferred to be called by strangers though. Bijou if you were lucky.
Thankfully, after full introductions and a chance for questions, the staff was dismissed with a curt thanks, and the cousins headed down to breakfast.
"I give her less than a week," Drew said through a yawn.
Crew smirked as the older cousins started taking bets, even Clemmy was happy to toss in her own two cents. The Sinclair's just could not seem to keep a maid around, besides the ones his parents had had forever.

Liane almost felt like she was in a daze the entire time. This plan actually worked. This poorly thought out plan that she only had the idea of a mere half hour ago. She was greeted by a friendly enough male butler, whom she explained the situation too, and he deemed that an appropriate answer because it wasn't shortly he was escorting her through the home she stood in front of moments before.
Her amber gaze flicked around, surveying the surroundings. Definitely a "lived-in" home, but it was inviting almost. The mess and clutter of a home with a full family. A slight twinge in her gut made her all too aware of how lonely her own seemed in comparison to this one. With just her sole betta fish, Paddy, minding his business in his tank as he awaited his dinner of the same fish food tonight.
Right before Dorian took her down a hallway, she made eye contact with one of the residents. But she only got a glance before being whisked away.
Standing before a beautiful blonde woman, who seemed almost like this was a routine for her. Dang, how many people had come and gone from this job? Liane almost choked on her tongue for a moment when the woman explained the job requirements. Holy crap, why had she not done this before? This was almost double what she made at Marie's, not including tips, and she got to stay here? Wait, what about Paddy?
"This all sounds fantastic ma'am, and I can very quickly and easily transition into whatever I spot I need." she trailed as she affirmed to Mrs. Sinclair. Maybe her mother's caretaker would be okay with taking Paddy? Her mom always liked watching fish at the aquariums.
The next moment, Mrs. Sinclair was bringing her back out into the room she originally entered from. Her eyes traveling over all the tall blondes, this almost look like some kind of Greek God convention. Fitting she was going to be bringing them grapes on silver platters. Nibbling on her bottom lip slightly to keep a smile from creeping across her face as she made jokes in her head while they went over the speil for the family. As her gaze drifted over the family, trying to remember all their features so she wouldn't mix them up, her gaze lingered on a particular one for longer than the others. Was that the "Crew" guy she overhead the redhead and brunette talking about? Nice pjs. Although what room did she have to talk? Her clothes still reeked of overpriced coffee. Now aware that she was quite frankly, staring, she quickly tried to find somewhere else to look.
Was she starting immediately? Because this place definitely needed straightened up. Just from this room she could see pillows out of place and blankets that needed folded. It wasn't like a gross dirty, the home was actually pretty clean, but a "we have a bunch of foot traffic in here" kind of mess.
After the lineup, Liane was beckoned to follow one of the other staff members who was going to show her everything she needed. On their way out she could overhead a few of the kids making bets on how long she'd last and couldn't quite stifle a small grin on her lips. Oh just wait, Sinclair's, I stick around like a disease... wait... that didn't sound right... I really need to work on my smack talk. Liane amused herself with her own monologue as she followed along the other staff. An older lady who apparantly had been here for a LONG time.
The room she was going to be staying in was showed to her, along with some permission to decorate it how she liked as long as she stayed for over a couple of weeks. Had to make sure she wouldn't just get a free room then ditch. Although in Liane's case, she hadn't even thought of that. The dresscode didn't seem too awful, comfortable to work in, but still professional and appropriate clothes. Much better than this awful barista outfit that seemed to make a special effort to show anything it could off.
Liane was given a quick moment to freshen up and get rid of the "coffee" smell as best she could, but it always seemed to linger on her no matter how many showers she took. But to be fair, she didn't take a shower. Just accepted the offer to borrow a less clingy tee from one of the maids, although it was about 2 sizes too big. Oh well, it would make do for right now.
She informed one of the other butlers, Dorian, she believed his name was, what her information was, and where her home was for them to send people to grab things from it. Although she wasn't entirely comfortable with random people going to her home, they wanted her to get started right away with straightening up and helping the cooks prepare a dinner as they were supposed to be hosting some other fancy family tonight.
She was to be brought back to the living room where she orignally came in the house at, but on her way there, they passed a room with a slightly ajar door. Her curiosity, and honestly just plain nosiness, couldn't keep her from glancing in the door as they walked by. Another taller golden Sinclair, this one an older man. The father maybe? He didn't show up for the lineup earlier. And he seemed rather annoyed as he spoke on the phone, and for just a moment, the question flashed through her mind, how did the Sinclair's get their money? Everything on google talked about the kids being successful, but where did the parents start out at?
Liane didn't have much time to ponder on that question as she was placed in the living room and told to start there and work her way around. Find Dorian, Ivy, Margaret, or Betty, whom could be found near the kitchen or dining area getting everything prepped.
Liane sucked in a breath as she surveyed the surroundings, nodded as if assuring herself, and started doing what she does best: her job.

The Sinclair and Larkin children all sat down for breakfast, the easy chat and banter between cousins the main focus. Rosamund had disappeared, which was typical. She rarely ate with them, saying she had work to attend to. Preston never ate with the family, unless it was a large party, and they had to keep up appearances. The business of the breakfast room helped distract from the fact that the Larkins hadn't seen their mother in over a month, and that the Sinclair children were practically ignored by there's. Playful jabs were exchanged, and they chattered amongst themselves. Plans started to be made, and Crew half listened, and half kept an eye on the hallways. When his mother was busy, the staff had learned to come to him rather than his father. He'd known what needed to be done, and no one wanted to risk the wrath of Mr. Sinclair. Crew picked at his crepes, honestly not hungry for them, and grinned as the dogs came in. They were the biggest mess, and one of the reasons maids hated staying. The Goldens were always shedding, and the Doberman often tracked mud about the ornate hallways. But then again, they wouldn't employ a maid if they didn't need one. Crew dropped his crepe into a dog's waiting mouth, and stood up, shooing them out of the room, knowing better than to let one of his parents catch him feeding the dogs human food.
Kennedy and Drew were at odds, which meant he'd be stuck with one of them for the rest of the day. The girls were always hot and cold with one another, which left him as backup. He really preferred the days that were spent with Taft, they had more in common, but that was not the case. Kennedy stormed out of the room, screaming about not understanding why the cousins had to live with them, and few moments later, a door slammed. Crew winced, and quickly finished stacking the plates. Jules was a mess, and was clearly about to start crying, so he picked up the sticky, disgruntled baby, and herded the rest of the cousins out of the room. He was able to hand Jules off to Ivy, who was pleasant enough to him, and Clementine and Taft dispersed to their own rooms. He sighed, already tired. Although both his parents were hard-working, when they stayed at the Boston home, many more menial tasks were handed off to their eldest son.
He wandered the halls for a while, most of the dogs trailing him. Cha-Cha was gone, he wasn't surprised. The Doberman had been his father's idea, saying he needed a good guard dog. His mother had pushed back, saying that Dixie was enough, but Crew was honestly on his father's side. The Goldens were too sweet if they need something protected. One pat, and you were their new best friend. Goose was jumping, trying to get at his shirt, and he scowled as he looked down. This was his favorite shirt, and Jules had stained it with chocolate when he'd picked her up. The strawberry syrup was causing it to stick to his arms, and Goose was riling up the other dogs. He peeled the shirt off, and for a moment, the animals desisted. He relaxed, glad that he wasn't being assaulted by multiple dog tongues, and went in search of one of the maids. He'd need them to soak the shirt in peroxide or something, to get the chocolate stains out. Normally, he hated asking them to do things for him, normally he could figure them out by himself, but he was unsure on this one. He knew that Kennedy and Drew often sent clothes to the maids to get blood out, because peroxide took out natural stains, but he didn't know where they kept it.
He was hoping to find Margaret or Betty, the ones who were normally asked about these things, but to his dismay, he couldn't find them. After an abrupt turn in the hallway, he nearly ran into his father, and quickly took a hard step back, softly apologizing. Preston didn't even bother to look at his eldest, simply waving a dismissive hand as he passed by, which was honestly worse in Crew's opinion. He nervously ran his fingers along the seam of the shirt, wishing he'd thought to find a fresh one, instead of walking around the house half-naked, but by then he could see someone in one of the sitting rooms, so he pushed the door open. He opened his mouth, and then realised he didn't actually know the girl's name. He'd stopped asking a few maids ago, they all moved on too quickly, and got annoyed when called the wrong name.
"Hey," he said softly, not wanting to startle her. "Um, can you take this shirt down to the laundry rooms? It's gonna have to soak."
He paused, feeling a little ill at ease. He didn't like taking to new people, especially alone. Crew wished Kennedy would show up, but no such luck. She was probably still in her bedroom, stewing.

(I am currently fussing with fonts right now, so if my fonts keep changing, it's because I'm indecisive and can't decide which one I like better. XD)
The hustle and bustle from this morning seemed to have waned down as everyone went to go find their respective places. Almost all of the Sinclair family had dispersed, either to their rooms or the dining area. The other staff went quickly back to work, mumbling things about how, "there's never a dull moment."
Liane was easily occupying her time with getting the living room ready for appearances. After all, it is the first room you see when you emerge into the house. A few rowdy golden dogs came racing through occasionally, but she didn't mind. They often gave her an amusing thing to watch as she cleaned. She loved animals anywhere she went and often remebered trying to talk her mom into taking home every single stray cat she happened to find. She never convinced her though.
Luckily, the other staff had told her where cleaning supplies would be, and with the help of a handy dandy hand-held vaccum, she almost had the seating cushions entirely spotless and the pillows arranged in a neat fashion when a sudden voice startled her.
Liane jumped slightly as she jerked her head up to see one of the eldest of the children, the tall blonde boy. Almost having to crane her neck at a ninety degree angle just to be able to look at his face, she regarded him with a slightly skeptical look but tried to keep her facial expression plain. A trick she learned from years of customer service. He spoke much nicer than she expected him to. Why did that redhead even quit? This seemed like a good job, especially given the circumstances she was in.
After what seemed like an eternity, Liane finally nodded her head. "Oh my gosh, yes, I'm so sorry, I just forgot I hadn't actually responded." Liane's cheeks flushed hot as she tried to stammer out a response once she realized she had just been standing there staring at him like he sprouted a second head from his shoulder.
She reached for the shirt to inspect the stain. Plenty of times had her shirts gotten various different food stains, especially coffee stains obviously. Her mom always taught her to put a little Dawn dish soap in it and lather it with your hands before putting it in the washer. "This is an easy fix." she tried to recover from her first attempt at speaking with him by sounding more concise as she moved to abide his request before pausing oncemore. Where was the washing room? This is going great. Her first day and she showed up in an awful barista outfit, reeking of coffee, couldn't even respond to one of her employer's properly, and now she doesn't even know where she needs to go. Mentally facepalming herself, she hesitantly turned back to face the male who came and spoke to her. Was she told his name? Just be professional, what can go wrong? Clearing her throat, "umm.. Mr. Sinclair, if you don't mind, would you be able to point me where the other staff would be so they can show me where I need to go? Then as soon as I get this shirt washed, I can bring it right back." she attempted a recover, already feeling ashamed of herself again. She hated started at new jobs for the reason of having to ask questions like this. Her cheeks were probably bright red at this point, and even though the temperature was fairly mild, she felt like she was about to have a heat stroke right then and there.

(you're all good XD it took me forever to pick Times New Roman)

When Crew first asked his question, he expected quick response, a curt yes, or at least something. Instead, the girl just stared at him for a moment. He was used to being looked at, but not in that kind of way. Normally, it was through the lens of a camera, about to be printed in newspaper alongside an absolutely scandalous headline, or by a young woman with no intentions besides getting in his pants, and into his family. Even some of Kennedy's 'friends' hadn't found the decent to keep their lingering glances and whispered glances surreptitious enough that he hadn't realised it. And that way saying something, since he was known for being less than tuned in to the feelings of the people around him. This girl however, whatever her name was, was staring at him more like she'd never seen a rich person in her life. He considered snapping his fingers to pull her back to reality, but it seemed far too much like something his mother would do, so instead he patiently waited while she did her ogling, and gave her a quick smile when she finally responded. She seemed an odd mix of at ease and also completely out of her element in the house, and he didn't want to upset her that quickly. It had been his fault one of the last maids left, and he was not eager to repeat it.
Thankfully, she continued talking and he turned his attention to Sir, who'd just walked into the room. He grinned, half listening, half entertaining the dog, and after a moment, he pulled the young dog up into his arms, putting it around his neck like a shawl, the dog's legs dangling on either side of him. He'd just turned to go when the girl spoke again.
Mr. Sinclair, if you don't mind, would you be able to point me where the other staff would be so they can show me where I need to go? Then as soon as I get this shirt washed, I can bring it right back."

For a moment, he was confused, then quickly pulled himself together.
"Yeah, sure. But, especially if mum is around, just call me Crew. Dad is Mr. Sinclair, and mum is very big on titles and stuff. She probably told you that though," he said after a moment. "Anyways, follow me. I can just take you there."
He promptly forgot about the dog still happily round his neck, and wandered out into the hallways. After a moment of reorienting himself and his internal compass, he took a side hall, and opened a small door, which led to a narrow staircase. Crew carefully made his way down it, being careful to avoid the squeaky spots, and completely slipped one stair, turning around just below it.
"These are the servants stairs, they're from way back when. That one's broken, so don't step on it. It looks fine, but I've broken my ankle twice on it. There's a little piece of red tape next to it, that's how you know."
He knew he should've taken her the most direct way, but he wanted to stop through the kitchen, so instead of taking the stairs all the way down, he opened another door, and stepped out of the stairwell, sideways. He couldn't fit through otherwise, with his broad shoulders and the dog around his neck. Once inside, he plopped Sir beside a water dish, and flounced over to the cook, covering her eyes.
"Guess who," he teased, and walked around her to the stove, peering under lids to see what she was cooking, and was cheered considerably by what he saw. He caught the cook's hands, and danced her around the kitchen island before remembering he actually did have somewhere he needed to be. He blew the cook a kiss, and beckoned for the new maid to follow him out the kitchen door.
He went down another staircase, and opened a door to a large laundry room, sweet smelling and fresh.
"There you go," he said cheerfully. "Ivy will be down soon, so she can give you a real tour," his tone turned slightly apologetic. "Sorry for the detour. The stairs did go all the way down."
He was about to actually be polite for once, and ask her name, but at that moment, a shriek echoed through the house, the sounds of the two girls squabbling again.
"Crew Evelynnn!" He heard one of them call, and was going to ignore it, but then his father's irritated voice joined the mix, and a flash of nervousness flashed across his face.
"Bye," he said automatically, sprinting out of the room and back up the stairs, hoping to calm whatever had happened before someone got really in trouble.

Liane was slightly taken aback when he had just agreed and began this, chamber of secrets esque tour. Following the taller male with a puzzled expression. She was usually very good at obersving and reading people, but she couldn't figure anybody out in here. She was under the impression they would all just be snobby rich people who only commanded things here and there. But he actually spoke nice, albeit in an odd fashion with a dog over his shoulders, that seemed happy to just be involved.
As he took her along a sketchy staircase, she ran their conversation back over in her head. Overthink much? So his name was Crew... She has suspected as much but at least he confirmed it. Odd name, but at the same time how many people had the name Liane. Or the last name Stark, and no she wasn't from Winterfell.
As Crew wheeled into a side door, Liane practically having to jog to keep up with his long strides, and despite having just been warned about a broken step, she still stumbled over it and crashed into the door as she fell into the kitchen. Quickly recovering, Liane stood with a wide eyed expression as if trying to play off the fact she almost faceplanted right here in the kitchen. But her attention was quickly deterred as she watched Crew interacting with one of the kitchen staff. Her expression softened slightly as she observed the atmosphere. They seemed happy, and cheery, and Crew's face had lit up when he came in the room. Tilting her head slightly as she watched.
Then, almost as suddenly as everything began, it ended. Crew blew the cook a kiss then whisked out the door again with a beckon to follow him. Liane and the cook made eye contact, almost as if mentally asking who each other was, before Liane gave her a small smile and wave before turning for the door that Crew disappeared back through. Giving the golden dog a quick pat as she hurried after him.
The stairs kept descending into a fairly good sized washroom. A few different washer and dryer set ups, along with some spots for ironing, pressing, starching, and sewing/mending clothes decorated the open room. The harsh smell of laundry detergent and various other cleaners tinged the air, along with the aroma of clean clothes. Along with some dirty clothes too. Liane fixated her amber gaze back on Crew when he began an apology. Liane just shrugged, "Gives me an excuse to orient myself better." she attempted to reassure him with a soft smile.
Before the conversation could continue much longer, a shreik echoed throughout the house. Geez, how loud did someone have to be to be heard all the way down here? Jumping slightly at the sudden yell of Crew's name. She glanced back at Crew right before he bolted off and could see a look of dread? Nervousness? Worry? All of the above? Cross across his face the second before he shot away.
Liane shook her head, reminding herself it was none of her business. But she was sooo curious. But no, work first, then you can be nosy. She reminded herself. She quickly went to start lathering some soap on the initial stain, getting a good majority of the stain up from just washing it with her hands a little bit before finding an empty washer to go ahead and begin the washing process. While she was down here, might as well start some other laundry. Then she can set a timer on her phone to remember to come back and check it while she got started on her other cleaning tasks.
As she went to sort through the laundry to avoid mixing any colors that couldn't be mixed, she picked up a particular shirt that caught her attention. It was a larger size, button up shirt. So definitely either Crew or Mr. Sinclair's, but it looked to large to fit Crew either. The shirt was white, with a sprinkle of red splatters up both arms and on the chest. Not very visible or a whole lot, just a small splash of little red polka dots. Odd design for a shirt. The shirt lingered in her hands for a moment. Before she shook her head, unsure what to think. Tossing the shirt into the washer with the rest of the clothes, she started the washer with the correct detergent, set an hour timer on her phone, then began the ascent back up the stairs to finish the last few things in the living room before moving onto placing the dining room. She had to clean the bedrooms too, but figure with the expectancy of guests, they wanted to the entertainment rooms to be cleaned first.
As Liane went to make her way back up the stairs, she could hear a flurry of voices just outside the door she was to emerge out of. Would it be rude to interrupt their conversation? Her hand hesitated as it reached for the door knob. Should she allow them to finish then slip quietly out and start cleaning? The anger in the voice is what really made her stay put. She knew the best course was to be as least bothersome as possible, especially someone who sounded so irate. So, she stayed put. Obviously not eavesdropping, just waiting for an appropriate time to not interrupt them. Yeah, let's go with that.
