This is the Rp Thread for the stray dog rp, please don't post if your not in it officially. There might be a lot of imformation. I will ask though that the alphas pm me about any decisions that they've made and anything like that, so I can make sure that it won't get to out of hand. Follow This Please when you post: Character Name | Gender | Role | Rank | M: - Plot There are many strays in the city and lots and lots of competition, every dog is fighting for survival they need food. It's every dog for themself, they rarely fight only if food and territory's involved.
- Luckily for some they have found safety with other dogs who have joined together to make a pack, but for some they are alone. There are small and big packs of dogs dotted around the city all with different backstory's. Some dogs have had a loving home and I repeat had but no one knows why they have been kicked out or left behind after all they are just dogs, man's best friend. - Can you survive? - - - - - When this roleplay starts The Pack will just be settling into their new home which is a Rubbish Dump (Where they empty bins and stuff like that). The Alphas will be trying to mark their territory and establish dominance between other animals, but it's also close to a few known lone stray dog territory's. Stray cats just wander about and in a way spy, raccoons don't really notice as they are in the city centre. - - - - - In This Rp there isn't loads of fighting just the occosional scruff and nothing gruesome. Rules 1) Follow all WP Rules 2) No No Mary Sues, Gary Sues, god modding, etc. Your character isn't perfect. 3) Don't be that person that always gets in trouble or is a one shot in a battle, defence & offence. 4) Minimum words is 150. 5) Maximum characters is 3-4 6) You have to be active or don't bother unless you have a good reason. 7) Only I will be killing of characters but your welcome to ask. 8) Hate the character not the player. 9) No same gender mates or any other genders apart from female and male because of realism. 10) Don't rp with one person all the time. 11) I have the right to refuse applications so only 3chances 12) I'm not repeating my self. 13) I control NPC's unless I ask someone to. 14) There won't be any pups or cubs yet 15) No crossbreeds (secret hint of what's to come). 16) Please don't confuse me and put human years 17) Sentences! Not paragraphs though for sign-ups. 18) Please follow the sign up sheet when you sign up. 19) For other animals the only ones allowed are cats and raccoons. |

Role Imformation Pack Alpha Male - The male leader of a pack in the city and is in charge of all the males in the pack. The most dominant in the pack and has authority over every dog in the pack. Alpha Female - The female leader of a pack in the city and is in charge of the females in the pack. The second most dominant in the pack and has authority over every dog apart from the Alpha Male. Beta - The third most dominant dog in the pack, has authority over every dog apart from the alphas. Other - Other dogs in the pack, has authority over only the omegas. Omega Male - The least most dominant male in the pack, has authority over no one. Omega Female - The least most dominant female in the pack, has authority over no one. Lone Dogs - Lone dogs are dogs who aren't in a pack and are just on their own, they have their own authority which means they have no natural authority over anyone. Other Animals - Other animals are other animals in the streets, they have their own authority which means they have no natural authority over anyone. |

Street Rules - Food and stuff like that Raccoons - Raccoons can find food in bins, parks and maybe steal it of a human or other animal. If an animal or human wants to steal it or take it and if your dominance against them is higher then you can keep it if not you will have to give it. Cats - Cats can find food from someone's back garden, bins, and sometimes a human might give food to cats. If an animal wants to steal it or take it and if your dominance against them is higher then you can keep it if not you will have to give it. Lone dogs - Lone dogs can find food in bins, parks and maybe from a human. If they are lucky maybe a squirrel or the odd bird. If an animal wants to steal it or take it and if your dominance against them is higher then you can keep it if not you will have to give it. Pack Dogs - Pack dogs can find food in bins, parks and maybe from a human. But the dogs who can't hunt or scavenge rely on the other dogs, and if they are lucky maybe a squirrel or the odd bird. If an animal wants to steal it or take it and if your dominance against them is higher then you can keep it if not you will have to give it. - Pack Rules - Who eats first etc Alpha Male - The Alpha Male gets priotory of food, so if a lower ranking member finds food they will have to SHARE it not take. The alpha male can give the scraps to the other members. Alpha Female - The Alpha Female gets second priotory of food, so if a lower ranking member finds food they will have to SHARE it not take. The alpha female can give the scraps to the other members. Beta - The Beta can eat all the food they get but the have to atleast offer or give the scraps to the alpha's, they don't have to give food to the other dogs but they can. Other Dogs - Other dogs have to offer food to the alphas or beta but only the lower rank members. - Dominance Rules - How to obtain dominance rank etc. Alpha's - Alpha's have the highest dominance in their pack but outside of it they have to work for it. Beta - The Beta has the second highest dominance in their pack but outside of it they have to work for it. Other Dogs - Other Dogs will vary in dominance so they have to work for it in and outside of the pack. Omegas - Omegas are the lowest rank they are really submissive. How to obtain/get dominance? To get dominance there are a number of ways. 1) If you want to obtain dominance there is like a mini battle, with options other than fighting, the options are: 1) Glare 2) Growl 3) Bark 4) Scratch 5) Nip 6) Bite You also get to choose where like for example: Cat1 goes to nip Dog4 tail in hopes of being dominant. I will decide who wins based of their strengths and weaknesses and moves. You can't do this all the time though. 2) Simply walk over and stare or growl at them and see their response. There may also be npc for dominance just pm me asking and I'll tell you how to incorporate it into your rp posts. - If There's Anything you think I should add pm me! |

Territorys Lone Dogs - Valentina - The other side of the fence of the rubbish dump, a bit elevated from the floor but not so she can see over. There is a hole in the fence that no one knows about apart from her friends. Nyx - A narrow space behind a shop, a 15minute walk from the dog pack. Trixie - Between a dumpster and a wall of a restaurant with the heat and smell coming from a vent in the wall. Vlad - Cats - Scrap - On a mound of cardboard boxes on an unused machine overlooking the dog pack. Raccoons - Nico - Pack Dogs - Alphas - Underneath three bins in the middle of the rubbish dump surrounded by their pack. Other Dogs - Dotted around the alphas, the beta usually closer to the alphas with the omegas towards the gate(Guard/lookout duty). |

Scrap | F | Stray Cat | M: Pack (indirect) Scrap grumbled as the rain soaked the box she'd been sleeping in. This kind of weather made her old bones sore. Nontheless, she stretched, long claws curling into the cardboard under her paws.
She began to groom herself. Her fur was messy after sleeping, and she was sure the weather wasn't helping the matter. She wasn't as flexible as she used to be, so she couldn't groom her lower back or the base of her tail, so it stayed pretty dirty and messy most of the time.
As much as she hated getting wet, she knew she needed to find food. She took no more than four steps outside of the shelter of the box and she was already soaked. She hissed in annoyance.
Scrap sniffed and listened, hoping to find a rat or pigeon. She much preferred that over the easy food in the garbage bins the young cats loved so much, but she supposed she could find something in the garbage bin by the boxes if she had to. There was a faint smell of rat by the junkyard, and she moved a little closer. However, her nose was hit with the strong scent of dog. Many of them. Great. Now I'll have to worry about those gluttonous brutes. She didn't go into the dogs' territory, but stayed on its edges. Maybe she'd learn something useful this way. |

Valentina | F | Lone Dog | M: Open Valentina was sleeping peacefully in her little den made up of cardboard, plastic, twigs, leaves and metal, it wasn't exactly the comfiest but it had to do. She woke up from some strange sounds, it was probably the birds or the cats as that was what it always was. It then hit her, she was starving at night as well. I mean it's somewhat easier to get food you know without humans milling about or the cats sneering at your failed attempts, it was hard being a stray dog. Not like she knew what a home or a family was but she had a dream of a lovely warm house with a loving family. - She grinned at the thought but snapped back and uncurled herself from her little ball and crawled out. She hopped down from her elevated den and clomped onto the earthy mess beneath her, she shook herself awake but not before stretching her legs. She walked over to her little stash of food ,which was basically an apple and a few bits of chicken, Great! She had eaten it all. She looked up as she heard something it was just an owl, no she could see a cat like figure on the fence. She couldn't tell who or what it was, she had to prioritise food she had no time for chit chat now especially with a cat. - She put her nose to the ground and she smelt a faint scent but it was coming from the Rubbish dump, was she really that desperate for food? She had another little smell around seeing if she could pick something else up. |

(About 15 or 20 minutes later...) Trixie | F | Lone Dog | M: Valentina Trixie is walking through an alley looking for her mother, who was calling her. Realizing that she is approaching her, she starts running towards the direction of her barking. She reaches the street and then she sees something that shocks her: her mother, lying on the street in the middle of a pool of blood. Trix stays in her place, with tears in her eyes, until she hears a loud honk, seeing how a huge truck is speeding straight towards her. Trix wakes up, startled, finding herself face to face with a German shepherd, who looks at her strangely. Both are in an alley behind a 24-hour restaurant, where the smell of delicious food comes out. Trix sighs, trying to recover from the nightmare. She had been dreaming the same thing for three nights. She wishes it had been completely a dream and not a constant reminder of her mother's recent and painful death. When she regains her composure, she speaks to the unknown dog: -Hi, I guess you're here for the food. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but they're not going to give you anything, believe me. By the way, what's your name? -She asks curiously. |
