Akira / 7 / Male / Siberian Husky (Albino) / Loner / M: Open Akira woke up with a start, a chill running through his body as he shook the wet, cold snow off of his blinding, pure white pelt. "Snow?" Akira growled to himself, "In the middle of Autumn?" He did not like Winter or Autumn, even though he could hide himself exceptionally well in the snow due to his pure white pelt. Akira didn't like the feeling of the snow on his thick, fluffy fur, either. And he certainly didn't enjoy the feeling of his paws getting wet from the freezing cold snow or harsh winds. Once Akira was done shaking the snow off of his pelt, he began to walk into pack territory, searching for prey. Prey tended to thrive more in pack territory somehow, even with dogs hunting them. Out of the corner of his eye, Akira spotted movement, and soon he could make out the black eartips of a snowshoe hare, and even though it was a little hard to see, Akira could see it's snow-white fur, too. The siberian husky got into a crouch, ready to pounce at any moment as he got closer to the hare. When he was finally close enough, Akira sprang at it. It didn't even have time to react, as Akira pinned it down and killed it with a harsh bite to the neck. He hadn't even realized how deep into pack territory he'd gone. Akira could hear the soft sounds of a stream nearby, and soon found a willow tree drooping over a thin stream. With a tired sigh, he settled down to eat his kill. Azalea || 3 || female || lead female || border collie Zae gazed up through the canopy at the white sky, blotted out by the falling snow that fell in sheets. As she curiously watched her breath float off in front of her, she navigated through the redwood trees, her paws sinking into the layer of white with every steps. She didn't know where her mate was- hopefully, close. Weaving through the withering foliage she made her way to her temporary home, a makeshift little cave mostly blocked off by a falled log. Climbing over the bark, she made her way inside, sucking out some mosture from wet moss on the log. Here, she would wait out the storm- just until someone found her.

Valor / 7 years / Second-in-Command / Scottish deerhound ... The wind began to whip more fiercely against the coats of those sleeping in pack territory. The snow had begun to fall more heavily, settling into a thick white blanket of ice. Valor sat a little ways away from the bulk of the pack, watching intently for danger. He always made sure to get up early, when the sky was still grey and still with the shadow of nighttime. The deerhound was almost completely, almost statuesque, still save for the movement of his thick, wiry coat with the wind. And his breath fogging in the air, only to be swept away by the wind. Intent amber eyes flickering over his packmates, and scanning the treeline surrounding them. He felt the chill of the wind settling into his bones, but the bulk of the snow fell harmlessly off of his fur, leaving him dry and fairly warm. Deciding to check the borders once again, the deerhound got to his feet, stretching his long legs and shoulders before starting in a brisk circle around the pack base. Most of them were still asleep, but some had begun to stir as the sun began to rise further into the icy blue sky. Edited at November 12, 2020 06:50 PM by Blue Citrus

(Sorry for not posting sooner >.<) Noble / Female / Pack Member / M: Open Noble gave a small shiver, the cold wind whipping through her relatively thin fur. Her body hadnt had enough time to fill out her coat for winter, since it was still Fall. She was rather concerned about the cold, normally it didnt snow until later in the season. She huffed, her breath formin a little frosty ghost in front of her. Hunkering down, she walked through the snow, spreading her toes to act like snowshoes. She made it to her den which was thankfully warmer, and much cozier then outdoors. She settled on her "bed" which was some various animal pelts, some moss and some straw, and overall made a rather comfy resting place. She settled down, and curled into a ball, burying her nose in her bushy tail and falling into a peaceful sleep. . Crescent / Female / 2nd In Command / M: Open Crescent snapped her jaws around the rabbit she had been hunting for the past quarter hour. She took a triumphant pose, feeling rather proud that she had caught such a plump rabbit so late in the year. She stopped tooting her own horn when an odd smell reached her nose. Snow? Crescent was surprised, but she refocused, and sprinted back to the pack, and made sure everyone was safe, and getting to their dens. She was about to go to her own den and sleep through the storm, when she paused, realizing the alpha female was missing. Worry nagged at her like a persistent burr, but she tried to convince herself that Azalea would be fine. After all, one couldnt be alpha and not know how to survive a snow storm. That settled her mind, and Crescent went to Noble's den, dropping the rabbit there. Noble had lost some significant weight recently, and Crescent had been keeping an eye on her. Once that was done, she hurried to her own den, her pelt almost completely white from the snow.

Valor / 7 years / Second-in-Command / Scottish deerhound . Valor retreated back into the decently sized Seconds' den, seeing Crescent was already there. He gave his usual gruff "Good morning..." before flopping onto his side in his usual spot on the opposite side of the den. He found himself wondering where Azalea was, and why he hadn't seen her that morning. The reason for the strange nagging feeling that something was off finally came to light in his mind. The collie female was usually full of energy, snow or no snow. "Crescent, have you seen Azalea?" He asked, turning to look at her intently. The snow had already started to fall harmlessly from his wiry coat, unable to properly soak into the wild layer of fur.

Crescent / Female / 2nd In Command / Belgian Mal / M: Valor . Crescent sighed. "No, I havent seen her in awhile. I dont know if I should look for her or not, but I am rather worried." she shook the snow off her tawny pelt, her ears flopping and then retaking their normal erect position. Her paws regained feeling, and with that came a painful biting feeling on her paw pads. She held in a whimper, and shifted her paws slightly, trying and failing to show she was uncomfortable. . Noble / Female / Siberian Husky / M: Open . Noble was dreaming about her youth, dashing through a field, her mouth open, and an expression of pure joy on her face. She galloped through the tall grass, feeling wild, even though she knew she was just in a fenced in park. She heard a whistle, followed by, "Noble, come here!" she ran to the voice of her master, her tail wagging happily. Noble was about to jump up and give a "hug" to her owner, when she woke up suddenly from her dream and sighed, looking outside, and seeing everything completely gray and white, and still snowing. She got up, and moved her bedding around, and settled in a different position, and closed her eyes, slowly falling back asleep.

"Hfff-" Azalea wheezed as she lifted her sagging head up from the soft snow-coated floor. Lifting her front paws up onto the log, she glanced outwards. The snow was lighter now, but still not exactly the best weather for traveling. It didn't seem she had been asleep for long. I should probably get to the group now, she thought, jumping up onto the log then trudging through the deepening white.
