Rock l Male l He/Him l Adult . He could tell something was on his friends mind, but he didnt ask, his friends business was his friends business. He looked around, ears perked, nose searching for food. A rustle in the branches alerted him. Then in unison, a bush started to tremble, and a tiny head poked out, a vole. In the tree a squirrel rustled in the branches. He looked to Tony. "You go after the vole, and I'll get the squirrel." He said, in barely a whisper. Mention hia head towards the Bush. Rock was an excellent tree hunter, being able to jump from branch to branch. He waited, tail swishing in anticipation, for Tony's response.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony nodded to Rock, lowering his haunches. Slowly, he stalked toward the bush where the vole was, who wasn't particularly paying attention to its surroundings. In a swift pounce, he landed on the small creature and crushed it, killing it instantly. It was a pretty good sized vole so he could share with another feline if he needed to. Tony picked it up in his mouth and sat beside the bush, glancing in Rock's direction as he waited patiently for him to finish his hunt. His tail flicked contentedly, flavors of the vole sinking into his tastebuds which made his hungry stomach growl again. However, he decided to wait until they returned to the construction site to eat.

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Spire lingered by the den, occasionally moving around to sniff something or poke around. He eventually settled right in the entrance of the den, dozing on and off while he waited for Rock and Tony's return. Tony he thought, he had been thinking about him for a while now. Tony kept flickering in and out of Spire's mind. Sometimes it was Tony's whole body, sometimes just his voice, but most of the time it was Tony's eyes. Something about the bright yellow and amber kept drawing Spire back to them. Spire shook his head, blinking a few times to clear his vision and head. He sat up, his eyes on two figures in the distance he assumed to be Rock and Tony returning from their hunt.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult After Tony and Rock finished their hunt, they made their way back to the construction site. It was a rather short walk, which was convenient, considering Tony had grown rather drowsy and his hunger still lingered. The sky had just gotten dark, only a few stars scattered in the sky. Tony glanced up as they padded down the street. He always found the stars pretty. Within a few minutes, they returned to their new home. He spotted a figure at the entrance of the den, which he rightly assumed to be Spire. Tony purred happily as he and Rock walked to the den. He dropped the rather large vole at his front paws. "Hey, Spire," he said, deciding the nice thing to do would be to greet his friend after a successful hunt.

Okra/ F/ Kitten Okra woke up to find her mother gone. There was a small pile of scraggly moss at the entrance. Finally a chance to explore! She hopped out of the den and stared at the setting sun. It was so pretty. Streaks if red and orange in the sky. She walked to the human dens. There might be something interesting there! She passed some silver things that smelled horrible. There was a small mouse thing near it. She crouched down and walked forward she stepped on a piece of crackly thing and the mouse raced away. She wandered off away from the spot. By now she was a bit away from the den.

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult "Hello!" Spire purred, greeting his friend. "How was the hunt? From what I can see it was rather successful." Spire's gaze dropped to the vole at Tony's paws and the squirrel in Rock's mouth. "I built us all nests and had extra leaves and moss left over so I made a fifth. I assume you are both pretty hungry and tired. Im going to head into the den while you eat." Spire stood, stretched, and padded into the den with a yawn. He paused before the nests, wondering which one he would choose. Spire decided on a nest on the left of the den, it was near the entrance but also not too close. It looked the most appealing to him. As Spire settled into his nest he couldn't stop p the thought that arose in his head. I kind of hope Tony chooses a nest next to me... at the thought of Tony next to him Spire smiled, drifting off into a light sleep with a hopeful grin.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony padded into the den with his vole. He decided it was pretty cold outside, and what he was craving more than food was a warmer and more comfortable place. He looked around the den at the nests, thinking about which one to choose - he saw Spire laying in the one furthest left and padded over to the one next to him. I hope he doesn't mind me lying next to him, Tony thought to himself. He sat in the nest and dropped the vole at his front paws, sighing with exhaustion. He begun to dig into the vole, but with the bigger than average size of it, began to wonder if Spire was still hungry. "Hey, Spire," Tony said in a whispery voice, "Are you hungry still? I've got more than plenty."

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Spire opened his eyes and shifted in his nest to turn and face Tony. He couldn't help the giddy grin that spread across his face at the sight of Tony next to him. He stretched his paws out in front of him. "If you don't want it, I'll gladly take it" he offered, trying to control his excitement. "Thanks for the offer" he purred. Spire leaned across his nest and took a cautious bite of the vole, it was still warm and the fresh taste made him smile. He hadn't had a vole since the day, a few years ago, when his father brought one back for him and his littermates. It was just as good as he remembered. He sat up a little more, in a sort of crouch as his thoughts drifted off.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony lied down in his nest, watching Spire as he dug into the prey. The moss that made up the nest along with feathers and other materials were really comfortable - probably more comfortable than any sleeping spot he had in his entire life. Tony couldn't help but purr in comfort, amber eyes glimmering from the moonlight that leaked inside from the den entrance. "This nest is suuuuper comfortable, Spire. Thanks for makin' it." He rested his head on his front paws, sleepiness washing over him. His voice as he spoke became muttered and slow. "Y'know... I haven't known you for long, but... You're a good friend." Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Spire finished the vole and quickly buried the bones under some loose dirt beside his nest. He lay back down, his hind legs sprawled out behind him and his front paws tucked neatly under his torso. Spire's gaze rested on Tony 'and his eyes...' Spire thought, quickly shaking the thought from his head as Tony spoke. "No problem!" Spire grinned, "They are rather comfy, I learned from my mother." Spire drew his hind legs closer to himself, curling into a ball in his nest and letting his eyes rest on Tony. He smiled as he heard Tony's last words before he drifted into sleep. "Same, I'm glad I have you, Rock, and Holly" he purred. Resting his head on his nest, Spire drifted off into the happiest sleep he'd ever had.
