Daisy led Sparrowhawk to where he and Wander had been chating. "Whats going on between you and that loner? How long have you two been mates? I overheard you two talking. How are you going to tell Felisha about her?" Daisy was currious but at the same time mad. She had thought that she and Sparrowhawk were good friends. Why couldn't he tell her about this?

Shoot. His heart dropped as he instantly stopped. Someone knew. It was Daisy, his friend, but still. He had broken the pack rules, and now... if one knew, then they'd all know soon. He whined hopelessly, but kept his calm, neutral expression. If she knew, he'd just explain anyway. "That's Wander. We-we've been mates for a while. Maybe a few months? And... I'm not sure about Felisha. I may not even tell her ever. I can't get kicked out of the pack. But why were you spying on me?"

"You're the one sneaking off before anyone else is awake! It's probably not the first time. Smell the air, its got strong scents of you and Wander, how much have you guys done this?"

I hear Sparrowhawk and Daisy talking. I toss and turn in my den. I should go out, but I don't want to. I close my eyes again. Sleep eludes me. I just lay there. And lay there.

"We've been meeting each other for a few months, I told you! And I still take care of the pack." He snarled at her, annoyed. He was losing his calm expression, and was worried. What if Daisy told Felisha? He might be kicked out of the pack for treason. He winced. That would be awful! And how dare Daisy spy on him?

Daisy sighed, "I'm not going to tell Felisha. Thats your job." She twitched her tail, "but someone else will find out soon enough. Come, we should catch something so we don't return empty pawed."

"Yes," he replied, then quietly added, "Thank you." He followed her, sniffing at the air carefully to find the scent of prey, eventually noticing a faint edge of mouse. "Here." He told her, closing his eyes so his other senses would sharpen. His fur blew in the wind, and he twitched his whiskers as he sensed some vibrations. "I think it's in that building." As always, he seemed to forget the rest of the world while hunting, solely focusing on the prey.

Daisy went to the other side of the floor. She swished her tail at Sparrowhawk. They had preformed this hunting tactic many times. Daisy growled and saw three mice scurry out from a burrow. She pounced on one, leaving the other two running right for Sparrowhawk.
