Werewolf Pack Member | F | 25 Years | Mentions: Ravik Pack, Briar, Open

The bubbling sound of voices coming from the kitchen didn't go unnoticed as a petite woman with dark hair shuffled around her room. It wasn't until she entered the hallway the the scratchy sound of the soles of her slippers could be heard on the floor as she walked towards the noise.

Due to her improved hearing from being a werewolf, she had heard majority of the conversation without even being in the room, and hadn't felt the need to join in on it. The subject of this "Elle" person seemed to be a bit of a sore spot for several of the wolves, none more than Ikaris and Briar themselves. Which, as the two highest ranked wolves in the pack, she had to think that this "Elle" had angered the two worst wolves in the pack. Certainly she understood how packs work, it's not like the rest of the pack was just going to sit back and ignore the turmoil. Majority of them seemed ready to formulate different plans to dispose of her body and several of them hadn't even met her.

Shuffling quietly, she ducked into the kitchen, warmling chiming out a quiet, "Good evening everyone," before heading to the fridge and searching for the food Mosi had texted about. She loved to cook herself, and considered herself good at it, but she would never pass on someone else's cooking. Especially Mosi's. Grabbing the food designated for her by the name on it, she moved away from the fridge and over to Briar, grabbing a fork on the way.

"Briar," she called out softly, her voice always kept at a lower, soothing tone. "I meant to ask you yesterday, I need your opinion between two books for the Cafe's Featured Book next Month," she knew Briar was an avid reader, and figured he'd have some good opinions on which book to feature for the following month. At her little Cafe and Bookstore she featured a different book each month, and whenever someone bought that book, it earned them a little scratcher that would reveal a percentage off a second book. The percentage off ranged from 20% to 80%, and people seemed to be fond of it. However, they could trade in the discount to pick from the Mystery Book Bin instead, which was a bin behind the counter that had wrapped books in them, so people had no idea what they would be getting. These two were some of her customers' favorite features, so she put special care into making sure the Featured Book for the Month was a good one.

Quietly the petite wolf found a chair and pulled herself into it, setting her food down on the nearest surface. Pulling her knees up, she tugged for a moment at her shirt before relaxing. She wore a dark blue and green tartan flannel shirt that was about 4 sizes too big, not that she cared, and a soft pair of fluffy blue shorts. And her "Santa" slippers, as always. Running a hand through her hair, she eyed the pack of wolves around her, hearing the mention of a potential get together later, maybe a movie? That wouldn't be so bad, so long as there was salty and buttery popcorn for her to gorge herself on.

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽
werewolf ⋆ alpha male ⋆ mentions: Simon, Tori

The idea of getting together with the pack tonight for some chatter and card games sounded nice, as did the movie idea- but Ikaris honestly wasn't too sure what he was feeling. His mind was fogged, fighting to figure out what it should focus on. Right now, it kept trying to fall back into the bottomless pit of his last relationship. If he did find himself sitting with the pack tonight, doing whatever they were going to be doing- there was a good chance he'd just be sitting or laying there quietly. He'd be present physically. Mentally he'd be a bit lost.

Feeling although that might drag attention to him, Kari wasn't too certain about being there tonight. Especially since he still had the idea of a nice, exerting run floating around in his noggin. Offering a shrug himself, the alpha let his tongue click, "Well, I'm sure the pack will enjoy whatever you decide upon. They always do." A soft smile replaced his near stoic expression from before, "Before any of that can happen, I've gotta do a couple of things. So I'll catch you later then, alright?" Distracted momentarily, the werewolf watched as Tori walked by and waved. He nodded towards her before he looked back to Simon and clasped his hands together, "I'm going to try and get myself all situated before then, mind watching the pack so they don't hurt each other or burn the house down?" A soft hint of humor in his voice as he attempted to distract himself with a bit of humor. Then, Ikaris stepped back and closed his door gently.

Walking towards the bathroom that was connected to his room, Ikaris stopped in front of the mirror, taking in his appearance with a scoff. Yeah, maybe I do need a shower. Pulling his shirt off from over his head, the young male bit into his bottom lip gently to stop himself from wincing at the forgotten tenderness of his body. Holding the shirt in his hands, Ikaris eyed himself in the mirror, his green eyes scowering over his skin and stopping on the few small, round bruises that sat right above one his left hip bone. Then he looked over to the other small and round bruises that laid under his left bicep, and finally his gaze landed on a singular, angry mark on his collarbone. If he had any other markings, they hadn't piqued his interest enough for him to pay attention to them.

He was surprised the shirt he had been wearing had covered that completely. Thank god his shirts didn't have stretched collars. Huffing, Ikaris looked over to the shower and truly debated if he should hop in if he wanted to go on a run later. Tossing his shirt aside, he then walked over to his dresser and pulled out his ash grey hoodie and balck sweatpants, tossing them onto his bed as he took off his current pants. As he slipped on the sweatpants, Ikaris' scarred knuckles brushed against one of his relatively newer scars on his abdomen. It was the only one he had that was a clean, straight line. Compared to his other scars, it was severly out of place, and it was pretty easy to tell that the cause of it was a different nature than the other scars he had. It ran from the right lower side of his abdomen to his right hip, a whopping five inches long and thin.

Deciding to flop back down on his bed, Ikaris grabbed his hoodie and haphazardly laid it across his chest as he laid back down on the bed. He could wait just a few more minutes before putting it on and leaving the comfort of his room.

Briar Solanine Tinuviel

The Beta Male | Male | Mentions: Ikarias (ind.) , Tori (ind.) , Mosi, Angela

The male was rather annoyed with Tori at the moment, but he knew in a way she was right and yet at the same time she was being rather hypocritical in his opinion. Apparently she didn't know him well enough to know about his horrid ex, then again most in the pack didn't, nor did they know of his preferences. So he couldn't really blame her. It was just a really frustrating situation and he just wanted it to be over. However, he gave a rather upset look at her words : one that had an unspoken understanding as if telling her he would understand more than she would know. And he he just let her vent and then he felt himself clutch his cup harder at the subtle affection she gave Ikaris. He needed it, and Briar wasn't one to go out and give physical affection yet he actually enjoyed receiving it from loved ones or others he held rather dear. But he could feel his face blanch into sadness as Ikaris had said those three words, "I deserved it." And it made him want to do nothing more than slash Elle's tires. And he watched him walk away, along with Tori and Simon. And he gave a rather exhausted sigh.

His attention was then drawn to Mosi and her response. He gave a small snort of amusement, but before furrowing his brows as he thought of a way to say it. "It's . . . complicated." He said rather gently, as he reflected briefly on their relationship, " Elle, Ikarias & I grew up together as kids. Same neighborhood, our parents were friends , and so you can say we were a trio from the beginning." He said giving a small chuckle at remembering the good old days. And then a somber expression came, "I don't know if it's because we got older or because of other things ; but Elle just . . . changed. She was the sweetest person you could meet, but then she became the two-faced bitch she is today. Manipulating others for her own use, and using those eyes of hers to keep others under her control. And the gaslighting . . . oh she's good at that."

" It's a sore subject for me because she betrayed my trust about a . . . " and he was hesitant to say it, and his nerves showed through him contemplatively rubbing his hands and giving a sigh, " . . a - a rather delicate matter, a crush that I had. And my parents weren't very happy and it ended up getting me sent away from my home." And he gave a nervous chuckle as he took one hand to rub the back of his neck before he confined, " But for Ikaris . . . she did so much more worse. And as much as I hate to admit it, he's blind when it comes to her, and like I said she knows it. Knows how lovesick he is . . . And it's going to get him hurt again." His voice being calm and hurt at this thought, and so he gave a short sight, " She doesn't love him, she just sees him as another conquest and it drives me crazy. Because how can she do this to him? How could she use his trust like that. And I swear if she ever shows her face here, I don't know if I can play nice with her. " he gave a soft hum at this.

" But anyway. Are we thinking Horror Movies? Or should we have fun with a Disney Marathon?" He said with a serious expression, "Or should we binge-watch a series?" He said rambling a bit, and he hoped no one minded , " I can make some fresh popcorn and other snacks and treats if needed. "

And he practically perked up at the mention of books. And he gave an uncommonly excited grin saying, " You know I am always down to help. What two books are being considered. And if you don't have some already, you know I have recommendations as well." He said in an excited tone, talking about books was a good distraction from the fact that Elle was back and realinh havoc.

Pack Member || M || Mentions: Ikaris, all pack (ind.)
He wasn't sure if what little comfort he tried to offer actually made the alpha feel any bit better, but he would at least have been reminded that he's cared about. "Sure," was what he had said with a smile on his face and watched Ikaris withdraw back into his room. A sigh fell from his lips afterward, and his palm rested on the door for a second or two before turning away.
+
Back towards the kitchen, Simon could still feel the remnants of tension. He passed by the group that was present and offered an acknowledgeding nod before he pulled out his phone. He read Tori's text from Carson and understood before he opened the group chat and sent out a quick text.
+
Simon: Headed out to get snacks for tonight, does anyone want to tag along? 6:35pm. Delivered.
+
He ran up to his room quick to exchange his slippers out for his black Vans, and kept his sweats and shirt on. He fumbled around to find his wallet, but tucked it into his pocket. He'd hoped someone would message back before it was time to head out, but he would go alone if he needed to.

Tori O'Connor

Werewolf - Pack Member - Mentions: Raven, Those in the kitchen (ind)

Tori almost jumped out of her skin when her foot was bumped against by Raven. She pulled an earbud out putting on a smile and caught part of the conversation that was happening in the kitchen. A snort left her but she looked over at the food and paused the music that was playing as she leaned forward to pick up the plate.

"Honestly, it was good until we had to call the police. For once it wasn't my fault that they had to get involved." A small chuckle left her frame as she took a bite and made a mental note to thank Mosi for cooking later. "There was a customer that came in and took out his rage against one of the poor tellers. Granted, I should have tried to de-escalate the situation but once you make a coworker cry, that plan is thrown out the window."

She shook her head going over the incident in her head before looking down at her phone seeing Simon's text. At the moment, she wasn't overly hungry but was eating the food that Raven had brought her to not be rude to either pack member. Normally she would have offered to go with the male, but she had had enough excitement throughout this evening so far and she was going to stay home.

Another message popped up on her phone and she replied with a quick *We can chat later.* message before turning her attention back to Raven. "How was your day? Other than the little bit of drama a few minutes ago, did you have anything exciting happen?"

She was vaguely aware of what was still being discussed in the kitchen and hearing the pain in Briar's voice about Ikaris being blind to the female's actions and that she knew how to hurt him caused Tori's jaw to tighten absent mindedly as her anger began to bubble up. Maybe she should go into town with Simon and stop by to see where this Elle was and talk with her.

Evelyn Fionix Rose
Loner | F | Werewolf | Located: Forest | Mentions: No one (open)

There is a fine line between reality and fantasy, and to many, they lean heavily towards one way or the other. Many grasp onto reality with an iron fist and refuse to listen to fanciful hopes or wishes, while others watch with terror as those things slip from their grasps, then constantly chase after such fickle things. At one point in everyone's life, they've had to choose which path they want to go down - Reality or fantasy.

For Evelyn, she wanted nothing to do with either realm. Reality brought too many truths with it, too many pains that Evelyn had not yet healed from (but dare ask about it and you'll be given silence). But fantasy promised things that Evelyn could never have - hope. Evelyn had given up on anything better coming her way. Sure, she might hope for a companion to come along, but Evelyn didn't feel like she deserved that mercy.

So, for now, Evelyn was content to simply wake up from a nap and stare up at the ceiling. She laid on her bed face up, zoning out, the sounds of leaves swaying or soft calls of nature gently nipping at her eardrums. The woman let out a groan as slowly, she stretched her body out, feeling the edge of her footboard at the end of the bed. There wasn't much to do tonight, she had hunted a lot last week and sold several loafs of homemade bread, keeping her satisfied for a couple of weeks.

With that thought, Evelyn sat up on the edge of her bed, yawned, and wondered what she could do.

'I could go to the bar. Betty hasn't seen me for about two weeks, she'd be wondering if I died or something - don't know what would change with that, but whatever.'

+

Eventually, Evelyn had gotten dressed in some worn dark denim jeans that had holes and tears all the way from her thighs to the middle of her calf. They hugged her waist, hips, and backside, but got more bulky along her legs, providing much needed comfort. For a top, Evelyn opted for a baggy army green t-shirt with a v-neck drop, revealing some of a usually hidden cleavage (it was for the most part still). It had some stains, but why did that matter?

After throwing on a gray interchangeable jacket and old lightweight sneakers, Evelyn decided to head for the bar, but only after checking the forest again. She had been asleep for an hour or two, but wanted to check on her hunting traps. Sometimes if she caught a live fox or anything like that, she'd let them go.

Once Evelyn had locked the door to her makeshift cabin and put a beanie over her braided hair, the tall woman began making her rounds. While walking along her cobblestone path, Evelyn was thinking. She didn't actually know what to do after... She just didn't want to be sitting at home bored.

Raven | F | Beta | M: Tori, Briar(ind), Mosi(ind), Simon
Raven could tell that she startled the female but simply kept her smile, hearing the conversation in the kitchen. Choosing to ignore it-and file the information away for later- she let out a chuckle at Tori's recap. "You had quite an eventful day then yourself. For a banking job that is." Raven flashed a playful smile at Tori, she teased everyone who had a day job. She knew sometime that she should get one but they were so...boring.

Her pocket buzzed and she pulled out her phone momentarily to catch Simon's text. Perhaps she would join him in a bit, see how he was doing. Snacks sounded good too, although she was a bit more concerned on what movie they would decide on. As much as she loved the horror movies, she didn't think it would be a nice fit for the night. She slid the phone back into her pocket before catching Tori's question.

Oh dear, what to say. Her facade slipped slightly as she tried to gather thoughts. Without realizing she was doing it, she rubbed her gloves before plastering a smile back on her face. "Oh you know, just training. Thought I would get some done before rain showers that might happen tonight. Nobody likes the smell of wet fur." She said, giving a small chuckle. She didn't slip all the way back into her smile but then finished her own food.

Setting down her plate, she said, "What do we say we tag along with Simon there? Some fresh air and a walk sounds pretty good." She knew she was directing attention elsewhere but that's what she was good at. Besides, she could use the walk herself so that was no lie. She pulled out her phone, shooting a text in the group chat to Simon.

Sure thing, could use a walk. Meet you out front?

After sending it, she sighed quietly before looking over at Tori for a yes or no about the walk. She would drop off her plate in the kitchen before meeting Simon out front.

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽
werewolf ⋆ alpha male ⋆ mentions: open

As he quietly laid on his bed, Ikaris found himself staring up at the ceiling, the soft buzzing of his phone on the bed beside him drawing his attention away for a moment as he read the messages. Cheez-Itz sounded nice, but he figured he'd let the everyone going pick and choose what snacks they thought everyone would enjoy. Besides, he could get himself some the next time he went out into town. Hopefully he'd be able to make that trip alone. As much as he liked knowing Briar and Tori cared for him, he didn't enjoy the idea of having one of them tag along. If he so happened to run into her, then he'd try to handle it on his own, he deserved to be able to at least try and shoo her away before letting anyone tag along on his adventures in town.

Bringing a hand up to his hair, Ikaris ran his fingers through it before grabbing a fistful, drawing a silent hiss from himself as he mumbled something. It was funny how he had short hair yet it was just long enough to be grabbed like that. If the idea of his hair being any shorter didn't repulse him, he'd cut it shorter than how it was now. Maybe it would draw attention away from himself. There was no way he could pull off hair any shorter than this anyways. To him, he'd look absolutely horrible. A soft chuckle escaped him as he let go of his hair and set his hand down on his chest, he'd look so darn funny with a shaved head. If that ever happened, he'd look... odd? Ikaris couldn't quite think of the word that would fit it best.

Once more, he sat up on the bed and found his green gaze looking back to the bathroom. Okay, yeah. Shower. If he was lucky enough, he'd be able to shower and get into his really comfy pair of sweats so he could rest and watch the movie without making the pack suffer through the smell of cigarette smoke and alcohol. He couldn't quite help the bourbon smell, besides- it was pretty faint considering it was one of two smells that made up his 'scent'. Dragging himself onto his feet, Ikaris moved throughout his room, grabbing a new towel and setting out his comfy sweats before he walked into the bathroom.

Hanging the towel on the hook by the shower, Ikaris exhaled a bit dramatically and spoke to himself, "I swear to god, if the water is cold- someone is dying." The alpha then reached for the knob and turned the shower on, pulling it as far as he could to the 'hot' section and smiled when he felt the heat build in the bathroom. Woo! Hot water. Finally getting himself undressed, the werewolf gingerly stepped into the shower and relished the familiar scalding heat, letting it wash over his skin and burn away Elle's touch. Soon enough her smell would be gone once he washed his body and hair, but for now he'd stay under the hot water and let it wash over him for a few minutes.

The annoying sound of vibrations against porcelain broke the quiet, hot, peace and quiet that Ikaris was enjoying, his green hues narrowing as he wondered who had messaged him now. Letting his curiosity get the best of him, he poked his head out of the shower and looked down to the floor. He didn't remember bringing his phone with him. Oh, well. The alpha then picked his phone up and huffed as he unlocked it, irritated that the entirety of his body wasn't under the hot water anymore. Opening his text messages, his breath hitched before returning back to it's normal rhythm. For fucks sake. He supposed it was honestly only a matter of time before he'd get a message from her, she had probably gotten it last night when she- when his senses weren't exactly sharp. For a moment he thought about not reading it, ignoring her, but he was too curious.

On the other end of the phone, Elle was happily typing away. She was intent on getting him to see her again, doing her best to sweet talk him, promising to be better and saying that she hadn't been herself last night. Although Ikaris knew better than to believe her, he still gave her the benefit of the doubt; but he was far from stupid enough to comply with her, so he gave her a believable excuse. If only he could've pulled the 'alpha card' back when they had been dating.

By the time he locked his phone again, his skin was flushed red from the heat of the water and from his emotions. Ikaris couldn't even try to explain what he was feeling, but he knew it wasn't necessarily good. With a frustrated shout, the alpha tossed his phone out and onto the floor, listening as it slid under the bathroom door and into his bedroom. For now, he had to focus on getting himself clean and then he could let the company of the pack help him wind down as they watched a movie. Perhaps he could try to sneak in a nap during the movie, he doubted anyone would mind that- and if they did? He'd scoff at them and try to nap anyways.

༺ Mosi Kana′tĭ ༻
Scout • 24 Female • M: pack members, Briar(dir),

Mosi sipped her coffee as Briar explained the situation with their alpha and this human girl. She knew that majority of the pack had known eachother for quite awhile and she had only joined about two years ago. So getting to know a bit of the alpha and betas past was refreshing even if this particular story was not. She couldn't imagine being outed without her permission. She self assuredly rubbed the little pansexual flag heart tattooed on her inner wrist. Her onyx eyes softened as she listened but behind her closed lips her canines sharpened in anger at the human female who had the audacity to hurt one of her packmates. Even if this was in the past before she knew these wolves she called her family.

Angie entered the kitchen with her usual kind aura. Greeting them both and aiming for the dinner in the fridge. Mosi had eaten her own portion before she worked out. As the fast paced metabolism of their kind was known to do she was already getting her interest peaked at the mention of snacks and the distractions of a movie night.
Forcing her canines to resolve back to incisors as she spoke gently but with a tone that conveyed she didn't pity him. But understood. "I am sorry that that happened to you. Briar My door is always open if you ever need to talk. Or run any frustration out in the woods."
She gave a soft smile that promised pain to who ever tried hurting these friends of hers again. As they two began discussing books and Angie's store she checked her phone as it buzzed again. Simon and Tori and others perhaps where going on a snack run. She definitely needed the distraction.

Mosi: I'll be out in a sec I could use the distraction. Sent 6:40pm

Excusing herself she ran to her room. Changing out of her workout attire. Into a pair of black joggers and a dark green hoodie. She pulled on her combat boots at the front door of the pack house. Before making her way outside to wait with Tori who was already waiting. Giving her a small wave as she scented the air. It was definitely going to rain later in the night. After her eerie but otherwise boring patrol earlier she made sure was going with them. She had sensed something wrong with the air then but not what. Something she didn't recognize and definitely didn't like. Like the calm before the storm. And she didnt mean a rain storm.

Werewolf Pack Member | F | 25 Years | Mentions: Mosi, Briar, Ravik Pack

Angela was half listening to the conversation between Briar and half between Mosi, though she didn't interrupt as they spoke. It wasn't her conversation to partake in, and many things Briar spoke of, at least about himself, she already knew of. Of everyone in the pack, he was the one she had known the longest, the one who had brought her into the pack after she had lost her grandmother. She viewed Briar as one of her best friends, if not her only best friend, and she took great comfort in being around him.

Her eyes flickered at the idea of what movies they could watch when he changed the subject, and tapped her chin gently as she thought. She was always in the mood for horror movies, especially ones that got the werewolf lore all wrong. Those were more amusing than actually scary, but she also like the paranormal movies, especially the ones viewed through the lens of a camera or something of the like. Even the bad ones she enjoyed, though she couldn't explain why.

"I vote something along the lines of a comedy movie, I think we could all use the laughter," she chimed, and nodded as Mosi took her leave from them. She liked Mosi, there was something about her that, like Briar, Angie took comfort in, though with her it wasn't something she could quite explain if anyone asked. It was just the way about her.

Her eyes shifted fully to Briar again, only to drop to her phone as it buzzed to alert her of a new text. She figured it was their group text and peered at it quietly, before deciding to give her in put.

//Angie: If it's possible I would love some Cherry Sours. I also ran out of Popcorn Butter the last time, do you mind picking some up? I still have half a box of popcorn we can use tonight. Delivered, 6:42 Pm\

After typing the quick text she set her phone down again and returned her attention to her taller friend, a large smile breaking out over her face at his enthusiasm. This was why he was the one she asked, he always gave her reactions that made her feel like she wasn't bothering him.

"Oh perfect! I can give you them later to look into with more detail, but I think they're both really good options. One is a murder mystery type deal, a slightly more modern take on the 'who-dun-it' kind of thing. Whereas, the second one is definitely more of a powerful drama and romance novel," she explained them each briefly, though she had every intentions of giving him copies of each to look over later. "I know I tend to have more sales of the romance novels, ladies love the stuff. But I can't help but want to break up all the romance novels with something a bit more thrilling every now and then," she commented as she took the last bite of her food before setting the fork down and pushing the plate a way a bit so she could lay her arm down.

"Oh!" She clapped her hands together as she remembered something, and turned towards him more fully. "I also need you to swing by the Cafe sometime soon. I have a new flavor that I got a sample of, and I need some ideas for how to incorporate it, or if it should have it's own, stand alone options," her face had lit up in the way it usually did when she spoke of her little Cafe and Bookstore. It was small, so she didn't have a lot of flavors in terms of coffee, though she had made sure to do research so the coffee itself was amazing, so flavors and creamers weren't as needed. But, she still incorporated a few, but the were the standard ones like mocha, vanilla, and caramel. She had occasional times when she'd bring in some hazelnut or pumpkin spice, but for the most part she kept it consistent. This was different though, since this time she had been scent some to sample to see if she wanted to have it in her cafe. It was one of the first times a company had reached out to her, and she was ectastic about it.
