Yuchi Yamaguchi - F - Werewolf - Medic's assistant - Mentions: Zane Felix, (Jordan Mathis)

Yuchi was roused to real world by stomach cramps, so despite how endlessly comfortable her heaven made of plushy toys and fluffy blankets is it couldn't make up for a dinner she had skipped yesterday due to studies. Small werewolf was usually easily excitable, unstoppable ball of energy, however she was slow to start because of whacky sleep schedule, if one could even call it that considering how many irregularities it has.

“Gotta…” she tapered off in a mumble, hugging her pumpkin toy. “Uh! Gotta start the motion in order to begin the motion and then and then uhh, stay moving? To stay and the move in such close quarters, does it even make sense to connect those two words” as her thoughts began to make sense, awareness of her surroundings heightening so did the girl begin to roam around the attic-turned-bedroom with more purpose; washing her face, brushing playful black bob, putting on regular makeup with bit of personal flare, fastening her favourite bracelets and similar before scurrying downstairs to get breakfast.

“Big-J must have made something if smell coming from the kitchen are this good” she spoke aloud as she rounded the last corner. Still in her pajamas, Yuchi plopped herself at the table criss cross applesauce and reached for pancakes.

“Good morning Z. Any plans for today except pranks?”

Yuchi had to admit that pranks were amusing even if she often found herself on the receiving end, at least she did not freak out about glitter as much as others since she wore it on regular anyway.

Raven Samara | F | 23 | Werewolf | Beta Female | M: Ikaris and Briar(ind), Jordan(ind), Yuchi
Light filtered into the room and Raven pulled herself to her feet. She hadn't slept the best last night but that was normal. It was still pretty early however, she could hear someone clattering in his room. Said person was Ikaris most likely. Briar would follow soon no doubt. The beta male was always the first one to scold the alpha on staying out all night and whatnot. Stretching, she put on some workout pants and a top before pulling her sneakers on. Raven checked her watch before making her way downstairs. 4:30. Plenty of time for her daily run.
~
She tiptoed out the door before taking off down the path. She stayed on the path long enough for the cabin to disappear from sight before taking a small, now used looking trail towards the riverbank. She stopped at a dead oak tree before changing direction again. Taking an old path, it took only a few more minutes to reach her destination. The clearing surrounded by a few toppled trees was where she stopped to rest. Well, she told herself it was to rest. She knew why she was here. She probably would never get it out of her head.
~
Why she visited this particular place. . .only slightly by what had happened. No, it was the questions that remained. The words that echoed in her mind. There is another. Another what? Those were her half-brothers dying words when he protected her from that beast a year before. She had yet to tell anyone that. Ikaris was the only one really left in the pack that knew that Night was her brother. Had been. And even though she trusted the pack, she would rather keep it that way. Better to keep it hidden. Always. The other question that lurked in her mind was what had taken his body. After killing that beast, she had come back the next day to find Night...gone. How could she truly move on when she had no place to grieve in peace?
~
Raven shook her thoughts away as her watch buzzed. Right, time to go. Day ahead of her. Sighing, she pushed off the tree she had been leaning against before taking off back towards the cabin. Jordan would probably be making breakfast by this time. She came out of the trees in time to see him make his way inside. Perfect. She had time for a quick shower before breakfast. She took one last look at the trees before heading inside herself. Raven could hear Jordan in the kitchen so she headed upstairs. Making it to her room, she slipped into the bathroom to take a quick shower.
~
Finishing up, she throws on some black jeans, a t-shirt and her blue hoodie. It wasnt cold cold out but thats why she wore this one. Not too heavy, not too light. Finally, she accessorizes. She slipped her bracelet onto her wrist and tucks her necklace under her hoodie. Finally, she heads downstairs to where she could smell the bacon. Coming to a pause at the doorway, she watches as two of her pack members dig in. She smiles slightly at Zane, knowing a store trip would be in order. She was pretty sure he used the last of his glitter in his last prank. Not only that, herbs and spices would be on the need be list. She wanted to make some rabbit soup here sometime but she doubted Jordan had the ingredients. And whatever else he needed could also be put on the list. Whenever he joined them.
~
Having enough of standing there, Raven walked over to grab a plate and load it up. "Good morning you two. Sleep well?" She asked, a light tone in her voice as she sat down beside Yuchi. Zane had his mouth full so she got a muffled reply from him. She took a bit of eggs before saying, "We are going to run down to the store after breakfast here. Is there anything you would like us to get for you?" She looked to the apprentice, waiting for her answer. Meanwhile, Zane got down his mouthful and said, "I would also like to make some jerky today. Our stock is getting low." Raven smirked at him, responding, "Huh, I wonder how that happened. It was full last time I checked." A slight tease could be found in her voice and a sly grin appeared on Zane's face. "Gee, I do not know," he responded with a muffled giggle. Raven tilted her head back to Yuchi before asking after getting a response to her last question, "Any plans for today?"

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽
Werewolf ⋆ Alpha Male ⋆ Mentions: Briar, Elle, Jackson

"You're no wolf." Sharp, pearly-white fangs sneered down at him, a pair of red-tinted, brown hues staring down at him, narrowed with some form of disgust, "You're a monster." A pause, then the vampire shouted, "You're a monster!! Monster! Monster!"

Ikaris jolted awake in bed, a bead of sweat rolling down the back of his neck as he drew in deep breaths. His foresty eyes locked onto the man beside him. How long had Briar been here for? Shit. Lifting a hand to touch his lip, Ikaris murmured a string of words to himself before he begrudgingly looked to Briar. He was sure that he had said something before he jolted awake, but Ikaris was too shocked at the moment to even try and ask for Briar to repeat his words for him. Instead, he watched carefully as Briar got up to get some supplies. How had he gotten lucky enough to have someone as caring as Briar in his life? Sure, the pack was filled with caring people, but he had known Briar since he was small- it was a different type of care that no one besides Ikaris could understand.

He watched as Briar's hands moved to his face, he knew that the man's touch was going to be gentle. However, Kari couldn't help but jerk his head back, heart thudding heavily in his chest. Briar would never hurt him, so why did he flinch? Habit. Ikaris couldn't help but tense up, his shoulders tight as he felt guilt rise in his stomach, twisting it into fear. Would he upset Briar? What would he think? The dread lasted only a millisecond before Ikaris was grounded by the feeling of Briar's hands on his face. Ikaris was immediately examining Briar's face, the lashes framing his green hues fluttering as he drew in quiet breaths. Was Briar pouting? That in itself surprised him. Did he underestimate how much Briar actually cared about him and his antics?

"You know I was worried sick about you, right?"

The alpha paused his thoughts for a moment, listening as Briar spoke with a worried tone. Had he really made the beta male worry that much? Ikaris moved a shaky hand to rest on his thigh as he closed his eyes, his lips parting as he let out a small sigh and shifted his weight to be more comfortable. How was he going to tell Briar that he thought about calling him? That he was so close to reaching out, but stopped because of his own self-doubt and fear of disappointing him? How could he explain anything that occurred without appearing as if he was weak? He couldn't do that, he couldn't- he couldn't. As Briar dabbed at the wound on his lip gently, Ikaris slowly opened his eyes, brows furrowing as he listened. Stitches? There was no way he had been hit that hard. Reaching a hand up, Kari lightly touched his lip. Well, shit. If he was unlucky, he'd sport two scars on his mouth. Gods, he'd look silly with a scar on either side of his mouth. Just tell him, you idiot.

For a moment, Ikaris considered it. That was, until Briar spoke again. Then, he began to question himself. What did drive him to go out and drink again? It was all a haze. Something had upset him, perhaps someone- though he couldn't pinpoint who or what could've done that. Did Elle message him again? Was that it? Or was there something else that set him off? His own self-doubt reaching a high and finally making him crash? That sounded like it could've been the cause. Biting on the inside of his cheek, Ikaris looked to Briar with saddened eyes. When did he fear going to Briar to talk? He used to talk to him, and then she happened.

"Why do you smell like that cheap and loud cologne that that wench of a woman wears."

His heart dropped as images flashed in his mind. No, no, no. The hurt in Briar's voice was a punch to the gut. Did he think that he willingly lept into Elle's arms? It wasn't like that. It wasn't like that. Ikaris scooted back onto the bed, damn near sitting in the middle of it as he swallowed thickly and clasped his hands together. He missed whatever Briar had said next, too focused on how the hell he was going to explain himself- because he had to say something. If he didn't, then he wouldn't be able to look at himself in the mirror without wanting to punch the living shit out of it, out of himself. Ikaris would be damned if he let Briar think that he had willingly and happily went with Elle to her home. Hell, he couldn't even remember if that even happened. I can't remember. That was an issue he'd try to figure out later. For now, Briar deserved some sort of explanation to what happened.

"I can't say why I went out. I don't even know that answer myself. I remember drinking and picking a fight with someone who, at that time, seemed like a fair fight. Obviously I was wrong. The bastard threw me into a wall, among other things. That's not the point though." Taking in a shaky breath, Ikaris looked to Briar, "I was going to call you, or text you. I was ready to reach out, and then I stopped myself." A bitter laugh slipped into the air, "I thought I'd disappoint you, turns out I still did that. After that, I thought about just walking home, and then she showed up. It makes sense and all, with her working there. I just didn't expect her to conveniently round the corner of the alley I was in. As always, she appeared like an angel- all sweet and kind. I told her to leave once I remembered that it was all a front. She didn't take to it kindly, I yelled, she smiled and then... I can't. I can't remember."

Gently rubbing his thumb over his injured knuckles, Ikaris smiled softly, wincing as a response to the pain in his lip, "There's no point in lying to the pack. I got drunk and picked a fight that I couldn't win. They don't know about Elle, nor do they need to know. I can't remember if anything happened between us or not, so there's nothing there that they need to be told."

Oliver Blake Sutton

Werewolf | Loner | Mentions: N/A

The rumble of a vintage engine grew louder with each passing moment, and soon, the source of the noise emerged from the shadows, cruising slowly along the town road. It was a sleek 1967 Chevrolet Impala, its midnight-blue paint reflecting the morning light like a shimmering pool. It was about 6 am, the town was quiet yet there was something unnerving in the air that put the newcomer on edge. Coming to a stop in a motel parking lot, a roguish man steps out. Running a hand through his inky black hair, he starts towards the motel. Grabbing the key from the clerk, he moved into the room and stared at the dated room with a mildew smell. Setting down his duffle bag, he opened the blinds letting the pale sunlight filter in. He approached the sink and splashed some water in his face. Looking at the mirror, his tired amber eyes stared back. He had bags under them from driving through the night. His inky black hair was messier than usual and his clothes were wrinkly. Oliver moved from the mirror and flopped into the bed- not bothering to check if the bedding was even clean. He was exhausted, cuddling up with his pillow and letting the fan lull him to sleep.

As Oliver drifted off to sleep, his mind wandered back to the events that had brought him to this small town in the first place. He was a man with a need for constant adventures and misadventures, a wanderer at heart who had always been drawn to the thrill of the unknown. But something drew him to this town. He had left his old pack behind, a decision driven by reasons he kept guarded deep within himself. The past wasn't something he was completely open about, even with those closest to him. Betrayals, secrets, and a gnawing desire for independence had driven him to forge his own path. But now, in the midst of this town, he wondered if he would encounter creatures who shared his penchant for solitude or if the bonds of a new pack would inevitably form.

The sunlight spilled through the gaps in the curtains, casting intricate patterns on the walls of his room. As sleep wrapped its gentle embrace around him, Oliver's dreams became a tapestry woven with his desires and fears. Visions of moonlit forests and silhouettes against the night sky danced before his closed eyelids, intermingling with memories of his old life and the unresolved questions that still haunted him. As the tendrils of sleep carried him deeper into his dreams, he couldn't help but wonder if his pursuit of adventure had finally brought him to a crossroads, a point where the past and present converged in ways he could never have anticipated.

A Few Hours Later

Beep…Beep…Beep. Reaching for the damned alarm, Oliver threw it at the wall without even lifting his head. It was until the crash did he actually look and realized how hard he threw the alarm. He groaned before smothering his face back into the pillow. It wasn’t even that long that he napped but it felt like he was in a coma. Oliver rolled out of bed and dragged his feet towards the shower. Turning it on, he was met with ice cold water. He was naturally always hot, it didn’t help that this motel had no AC either, so he welcomed the frigid water. Oliver quickly dressed, finally feeling refreshed, and left the mangy motel. But that was his home for now, until he found somewhere better. He examined his Impala for any scratches while he was away before giving it an affectionate pat on the roof. Oliver started the car, welcoming its purr, and headed towards the nearest diner. He was eager to meet the townsfolk and if it's like any other small town, he was sure they were waiting to meet him too.

As Oliver pulled into the diner's parking lot, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air. The diner was a quaint little place, adorned with vintage memorabilia that matched the style of his beloved Impala. As he stepped inside, the familiar sound of the bell above the door greeted him, and all eyes turned towards the newcomer. Conversation halted, Oliver took in the curious stares. The same thrill he always gets when arriving in a new town snuck up his spine. He glanced at the sign: Seat Yourself with a bored looking waitress scrolling through her phone. The waitress glanced up as Oliver walked past to his seat, flashing his trademark roguish grin, the girl flushed. Conversation slowly picked its way back up, with a few wary glances casted his way. Taking a seat at the counter, he was greeted by the friendly older waitress. Oliver was prepared to be peppered with questions but all she said was “Do you want coffee, honey?” He nodded in earnest, watching the woman pour him a cup of hot coffee. He watched the steam come off of the cup and gave a gracious smile to the waitress before she shuffled off towards waiting customers. Oliver slowly sipped the bitter black coffee, enjoying the lively diner, the townsfolk seemingly forgetting the watchful stranger in the corner.

BAM! Enika struck the boxing bag with so much force it slammed against the concrete wall behind it. As it come hurling back, Enika narrowed her eyes and punched again with a huff. Sweat boiled down her forehead, glistening all over her body. When it came back a second time, she struck it a final time with so much force the bag snapped, and sand begn to spew everywhere. The woman jumped back, looking down at the pile below before she growled from irritation and swore under her breath. Great. More crap to clean up. She thought with venom. The young woman looked down at her bruised, wrapped knuckles and let out a breath as she walked over to her bag that sat on the floor nearby. She crouched down and grabbed a small towel which she used to wipe the sweat from her forehead and arms. With a glance at her watch, it was evident time had passed much more quickly than she had previous realized. Dang. I'm running late. She stood back up with a stretch and a breath of relief as she rotated and stretched her shoulders.
Despite the mess she had made, it didn't take long for Enika to clean the mess up, though it was annoying. Afterall, it wasn't her punching bag she'd just ripped over, though the owner of the gym knew better than to give the young woman any expensive or new punching bags. Well, any good equipment for that matter. She never meant to break any of it, but she often times became lost in her thoughts during her workouts. At least now, she should be satisfied that her leg had sustained the workout. It had been getting better recently, but Enika didn't want to push it too quickly and be back in square one all over again. Not with the tension rising. Enika had been training non-stop, although she'd always trained like this for personal messures. Still, Enika could feel a war brewing, and could taste the carnage on the air. The battle didn't scare her. Failing did. It terrified her. What if she couldn't protect her coven? What if she wasn't strong enough? What if her leg gave out.
That's not an option. Don't dwell on it. The girl finished cleaning up and gulped down her water as she swung her bag over her shoulder as she left the small concrete room. Opening the door, she entered the main hallway which traveled down to the welcome desk where Mr. Anji usually stayed. He was a small kind old man who matched is small gym perfectly. Not many words were ever shared between the two of them, mostly because Enika wasn't much of one to hold a conversation, but he would wish her a good workout or a good morning. Out of everyone who came to the gym, Enika was the most regular and consistant patron to participate.
She waved as she left and she pushed through the glass doors and stepped out into the street.

Shadow Dresden | 25 | M | Werewolf | Loner | M: Oliver(ind), Elle(dir)
"Your here bright and early sunshine," came the voice he was hoping to hear and he tilted his head over to look at the bartender. The petite woman was holding a glass which she slid over to him. Cupping it in one hand, he let her start talking about how her long night was. "As per normal, we had a few fights but our bouncers took care of them. Then it was quite boring especially for me..." Shadow zoned out as the bartender, Elle as she made herself known easily, kept on talking. He kept a listening ear on her while he sipped his apple cider.

It took a while for her to outline her night, which he allowed her to talk his ear of per normal. Normally, he couldn't stand when people talked too much but for some unknown reason, he could zone her out and listen at the same time. Without getting annoyed, which was odd but refreshing. Being alone 24/7 could get lonely. Not that he would join a pack because of it. He preferred being alone. Shadow was jostled out of his thoughts as Elle's next words cut through his haze, "And the my ex went off on me which was definitely odd but then again, not many of his friends like me. I think he had too much to drink so I know he'll be back sooner or later."

Shadow blinked slowly before interrupting her, "Your ex? That would be?" First he heard that this girl had a boy that could keep up with her. Said guy probably had enough of the yammering. "Not sure if you've heard of him around town. He and his friends lives in a cabin not far from here. He can stir up trouble here and though," Elle said, shrugging while she dried a glass. Shadow finished his apple cider before sliding the glass back to the girl. He knew about the pack, one of the things that got him in trouble last year. Thankfully, after many fake messages, the pack should think that he had moved off. Even though he was still here.

Shadow pulled out a ten and handed it to her. "I keep the change then?" She said, an edge that he was used to hearing in her voice. "Don't you always sweetheart?" He matched her tone easily with a teasing smile she could see. She huffed but couldn't hide the smirk fast enough from him. Their banter wasn't overlooked though as one of the managers yelled for Elle to get back to work. Shadow tilted his head so the female didn't yell in his ear when she shouted back at the man. He might be in human form but his hearing was still sensitive.

He headed for the door, slipping out as more arrived. Blargh, he disliked crowds. Especially rowdy ones. Fighting he could do. Crowds, he could not. Shadow walked down the street before coming to the little old diner on the corner. Coffee or no coffee? He didn't quite care for coffee although it woke him up. Elle had taken care of any sign of sleepiness he had left though. The bacon did smell good though. One or two pieces couldn't hurt. And he still had time to kill before he tried to figure out how to fix the shower.

Shadow slipped into the diner, the small bell going off. He stood at the door for a moment, his eyes scanning the diner for a place to sit. A few heads turned but quickly went back to their meals. They were used to him coming in this early. Shadow walked forward a few paces before noticing an empty table towards the back. He was halfway there when one of the older waitresses came up. "Coffee or bacon this morning?" She asked with a knowing smile. Shadow chuckled quietly, "Bacon this morning would be fine." The female disappeared with a smile and he continued to the table. Sitting down, he took the time to look around.

Most of the daily folks were closer towards the door, most likely to make a clean getaway before getting pulled into another conversation. One of the places he liked to be. His eyes fell onto a male tucked in one of the corners though. He was sitting at the counter, sipping a drink. Coffee most likely. What stood out to Shadow the most from this side was the man's tattoos. The ones he could see was on his arms which crisscrossed together. It was too far to see the exact designs but they seemed to mismatch yet match the man. Hmm...he hadn't seen him around town. Yes, Shadow kept away from crowds but he still watched things go around town.

He knew most of the regulars so this man was off for that much. For everywhere else, not as much. Perhaps he wasn't new, just here at the same time for the first. Shadow got distracted from the male as the waitress came back with his bacon. He gave her a nod, waiting until she left before taking a bite of bacon. His gaze shifted out the window, taking in the quietness of the town before his gaze shifted back to those in the diner. Despite the bacon scent, there was a whiff of wolf. Shadow knew it wasn't dog as no dogs were allowed in the diner.

Shadow let out a breath, quietly taking in the scents. While he could smell wolf, he couldn't pinpoint it. Where it was coming from, he had a faint idea that it might be coming from the male sitting at the counter. What he couldn't pinpoint was if the male was pack or not. That was Shadow's main concern. If a pack wolf knew that there was a loner close by, they would try to find where he was living or try to chase him out. Werewolves were very territorial. . .at least, his old pack had been. Shadow tried not to think about that pack. Too much had happened in that pack and it was better to keep the memories away.

Shadow sighed, tilting his head to scan the diner again, his eyes looking like they were lazily roaming. While his posture screamed relaxed, he was anything but. A trained eye could see that he was alert and wary.
