Alha | F | Alpha | SUP | M: Everyone in camp(dir & ind) Alha watched as the camp slowly came awake, noting Freya taking care of the new stray that they had brought back the night before. Hopefully Shalah would be back soon to take a look at it. Alha flicked an ear as one of the new guards bounded over to Quilo. Looked like they now had two furballs of joy. She turned her head as she heard footsteps, seeing Loki walk past her to lay down nearby. The male would probably fish for a little bit before going to check the traps. Better him than everyone else, considering he had helped set up the traps. It concerned her that she hadn't heard anything though. She sighed before turning her attention to Kenai as he padded up.
She dipped his head to his greeting before listening to his words. At the question, Alha flicked an ear towards the reddish male (Loki) nearby. "While your offer is nice, Loki will be checking traps most likely. He helped the foxes set them up earlier this week so he'll know how to handle them. Knowing him, it's best if we leave him to it." Alha said, her ears flattening slightly. They perked up alertly as Harry came to join them. At his question, Alha responded, "Shalah is currently with Alpha Shadow in the Raven pack. She was assisting the wolf that had been with our pack yesterday. She should be home soon though. As for what to do, I would like you to show Quilo and Temari the camp borders for the time being as well as the paths to the meadow. Make sure they understand where all of the fox traps are to avoid them on future patrols. Stay close by in case Frodo and the new dog needs you." Alha then turned her attention back to Kenai, "Kenai, I would like you to join me on patrol. We'll take Freya with us to hunt on the way back. I want to start putting marks down so that unwanted animals stay out of the territory. We can't do much about the humans for the time being but we don't want the other animals thinking they can come in here and take our prey." Alha shook out her pelt before stretching. "We'll move out in a bit, once Freya is finished taking care of the new dog." She said before seeing a disappearing tail go into the forest. She let out a quiet sigh, half wishing that Loki could stay in one place for a while and half thankful that he was going to go do something useful.

Killjoy | M | Alpha | Eastern | M: River, Hondo A whine caught his attention, pulling him back from whatever realm he had been traveling to. His head turned to listen to River as she spoke, his gaze unwavering, intently listening to what she had to say. A smile on his maw. "I think that you are going to make one outstanding Alpha." Eyes shone with light as he watched her, his gaze was soft, his tail wagged gently. A deep sigh with the relaxation of his shoulders as he sat in her presence. He closed his eyes, taking in the relaxing moment before the crazy of the day. His eyes opened and he looked outside of the den, watching for Hondo to come back. They needed to talk, and he needed Rags in on it as well, where was she? "I won't let anyone drag you back unwillingly." He said in a playful tone as he leaned in on River. Okay, he needed to get things done. He looked at her sadly, regret in his eyes. Hondo was close. "I've got to speak with my Betas, but I'll be back once it's over." His tail wagged as he stood up, the warmth from River gone, his side now cold. "Feel free to look around!" Killjoy stood there looking at her for a minute, why did something feel wrong about leaving her? Must just be the overcast weather. As Killjoy stepped out of the den, his mood was suddenly serious, looking for his Betas. His gaze was cold, and it meant work. Ears flicked back towards his den, listening for any noises. There were none. He began to patrol the camp, sniffing for any signs of his Betas. Hondo it seemed was hunting with Illusion. At least he was doing something useful. His gaze was rested where Illusion mate laid with her puppies. They were so small, and it unsettled him to see how close one was to the father. Killjoy sat down by the entrance, waiting for Hondo. He'd pounce on him when he returned.

Illusion | M | Lead Hunter | Eastern | M: Hondo, Malica Illusion watched the Beta score a rabbit, his tail wagging for his friend. "I'm sure she will! I'm going to see if I can find something. I don't want to get back to camp empty." With that, the male began to scan the area. More times than not a rabbit would have a companion nearby. The wind hunted to a rabbit eastbound, Illusion cantering off after it. His approach was fast but would he be fast enough? A fluffy tail proved him correct, putting on speed. In a blink of an eye he was lunging for the furry creature, landing on it. It went limp in his mouth. He trotted back to Hondo and followed him back to camp

Hondo l Male l Beta l Eastern l M: Illusion . Hondo smiled as Illusion neared him, carrying a plump rabbit. "We got a good catch, we should go back. Killjoy and I will have to go over things." He started the walk back towards camp, carrying the rabbit he had caugt as well. His paw still hurt sligjtly, probably from the extra weight he had put on it while hunting, but he didnt mind. His walk was a sligjt hobble, hoping that he wouldnt reinjure the paw. He remembered the feeling if the claws from the bear trap digging into his leg and paw, and he winced at the thought. He looked to Illusion, and he was proud of him. He had settled down and started a family, he even had pups of his own. Thats the one thing Hondo truly wanted, he would give up his rank if he had too. They passed through some underbrush, which picked at Hondo's thin fur, soon the two males were at the entrance of camp. "We cab drop the prey off, nd then I'll talk to Killjoy. Give that rabbit to her by the way, she'll need it." He pasued for a moment. "Say hi to Malicia for me." Then entered camp to go put the rabbit in the prey pile.

Malicia // Eastern // Queen // Mentions: Xola Malicia Stirred slightly when Xola woke her gaze relaxed and alert. Though there was a restless air about her given she, would be a sitting duck for a while. Licking her nose she nodded back in greeting to Xola. Her banner swaying to expose the pups figures to the medics trained eye. "Good morning Xola, I hope we didnt disturb you to much." Malicia said softly to avoid awakening her pups to early. After all they had just finished a vigourous round of suckling. "I believe all is well with them, and there eating at a healthy rate." Malicia said with her audits pinning slightly as she nudged her belly. Her teats wherent quite as full as they should be when nursing 3 pups. "Is there a herb I can take to help increase milk flow? Something doesnt seem quite right." Malicia asked calmly though she was a bit worried as if her milk dried... the other female in camp also had a relativly full litter so couldnt step in.

Freya // Gaurd // Strays // Mentions: Alha (Anyone else involved) Freya stretched and nodded in dismissal to the new dog, not having gained much in the way of conversation from her.. she decided to continue on her day. Which meant going to Alha when she heard her name mentioned. So with a pep to her step she carried herself over to alha her audits perking. "You called?" Freya said with a grin as she moved toward the group that had gathered. "We wont need to much, as the deer will hold us for a day or 2 even." Freya said calmly, she didnt want the strays to enter into a wasteful way. Thus why she felt she needed to say something given she was raised differently.

Hymir | The Great Eastern Pack | Scout | Four | Male | Mentions: Xola (ind) , Violet The inky colored male had managed to find some shelter during the weather - and he gave a unimpressed huff at the snow, even if he did like it. And he curled up a little further in his little makeshift den, trying to keep himself warm. And he then uncurled for a moment, thinking of his mother - maybe he could den with her and bring some extra warm pelts for them to rest on. It would keep him nice and warm, and he'd get to be with his mother. He perked his ears at the thought, it wasn't a bad plan, and so he decided to go find his mother. And so he squeezed his way out the den he had dug, and began to sniff. He could smell the fresh scents of the newborns along with other pack members, but the familiar and sweet scent of blackberries and oranges filled his nose - and he made his way to his mother. Only to find that she was busy with that female who was due for having her pups ( though it seemed that she already had birthed them. ) and so he decided that now wouldn't be the best time to approach his mother. He gave a soft hum to himself and found that the camp was rather empty, after all it was a newish dawn ; and he decided to go check out the med den, and make sure it was still accessible and comfortable. He went and saw that snow was piling around the entrance - and flattened his ears at the discovery. How annoying, the thought as he moves towards the entrance of the den. And he began digging slowly to shove the snow aside and make bigger space for the entrance - once the right side was cleared, he moved to the other side and made a slightly larger opening. He looked at his work, though his paws were chilled he was satisfied that the entrance was properly open. Now it would be easier to get in and out. Though his paws may have been a bit cold at the moment, he was still proud of his work. And he gave a small hmph of pride as he looked at the neatly pushed aside snow. And once he was finished, he decided to go and look for Violet, he hadn't really had the chance to talk with her since all this was going down - and he would've like the chance to speak with her more. He flattened his ears at the twinge in his heart at the thought of talking to her ; and he then began slowly slinking around camp. Hoping to find the rather pretty dusty colored she-wolf that seemed to be on his mind lately - don't be daft, came the chiding voice in his head, as if she'd go for a guy like you - you'd have to be dreaming to catch her eyes, you are worth her time. And he gave an annoyed grumble, his pessimistic thoughts were being a bit too loud today. And he wasn't having a good time about it, hopefully after a conversation with Violet and later his mother, they would be just a bit quieter. For now, he just wanted to find Violet. Ráðgríðr The Grand Eastern Pack | Beta Female | Five | Mentions : Xola, Killjoy, Illusion & Hondo (ind) The older female had spent most of her time pondering some things to herself in the medic den. It was almost winter, and soon it would bring spring. The arrival of new live and love, and she wasn't getting any younger - she was in her prime and yet, she hadn't taken a mate nor bore any children yet. And a year or two ago it wouldn't have bothered her as much, but now. . . it just stung. As she rose, she could feel the aching of her wounds and body - a slight hiss of discomfort coming from her. Something that was uncommon, she was used to hiding her discomfort and pain but this - she couldn't hide it. And she gave an audible sigh as she made her way towards the exit. It could be seen that someone had been considerate of the medic and cleared the den entrance. She knew Xola would probably be fretting if she saw her out the den, but a little stretch of the legs wouldn't hurt - would it? She silently watched camp as she lay near the entrance, her eyes catching events going on. Xola talking with Malica about her newborns, and she felt a twinge of jealousy within her. Would she ever gain the privilege of having offspring? Of having a being to love and live for as much as she did herself and to raise it with someone she loved and who loved her unconditionally? She envied the female, how she had a mate and now she had a little family. She has to turn her gaze elsewhere before it seemed she was glaring. Her gaze was unfocused and rather dull ; she had many thoughts on her mind and how things possibly had changed in her absence and if others even thought her worthy of her mantle anymore. She hated how this was getting under her skin so much, it was just so annoying how grating these thoughts were - she could feel her claws begin to dig into the snow, the chill of the snow and cold upturned earth catching her nose. And the scent of a rabbit? Turning her head - she could see Illusion coming in with it seemed Hondo, trailing nearby. And it looks like Illusion had been hunting and gotten lucky. She saw how Illusion seemed to have more energy in his step and she felt that growing vein of envy flare - sure she was happily serving her pack, and would do anything for them. However, was she too focused on her work? Maybe that's why it took her so long to realize her feelings for Killjoy when it was right in her muzzle ; and she had a deep intake of breath as she let out a humorless chuckle. And now it seems her chances with him were gone, as he didn't have eyes for her - instead he had eyes for River, a wolf from a different pack and well, that hurt. Though she couldn't blame him - she wasn't exactly forthcoming with her feelings, and now she has to put them away and just be loyal to him as a friend and his Beta Female, and nothing more than that. She didn't have the luxury nor privilege to live him anymore romantically, and it seems most of the males within the pack already had a sweetheart and here she was all alone. Moons above, she didn't know why it bothered her so much to be without a partner. Maybe she just craved that sort of missing connection that it brought her. She could hear her mother now, chiding her for moping over a guy and how pathetic that was. And she let out a disgruntled sigh and wondered when these thoughts and feelings would die down, and she hoped that they would soon because as of now she felt terribly lost.

Violet l Female l Medics Apprentice l Eastern l M: Hymir . Violet had begun sniffing through the snow, tryimg to find even the slightest smell of herbs. As of now, she had only gotten luck with a patch of marigold beneath a rotten log, which had covered them and didnt let the snow get to them. She had picked all of them, but three or four, as she knew they would probably grow back if sje left of few. With the Marigold between her gray jaws, she continued about, he light ice blue eyes staring ober the barren landscape. She could see small animal tracks, and even a nice plump squirrel, but she ckyldnt hunt when nit on hunting duty, as of now they needed herbs, as she didnt know how many others would be expecting pups in the future. Them she stopped in her tracks. Pups. He thoughts drifted back to Hymir. And she even turned around, hoping he'd be right there. She hadnt seen him in two or three days, and her heart longed to see him. The charcoal colored wolf, that over the time they had met became fast friends. The one who had gifted her the violet behund her ear. The smile on his face when he had given it to her, made her long for his closeness. She sighed, even as much as she wanted to be near him, why woyld he want her? What did she bring to the table? Being a medic? He already knew most of that from his mother. He cpuld hunt and fight, and the only thing she could do was throw herbs at his face uf he came back injured. Her ears flattened in silence for a moment as she thought of it. But she persisted on, knowing that the herbs should be the only thing kn her mind. After finding a patch of lavendar and cilantro, she decided that would be enough, at least for now. The dusty grey female looked around, her heart longimg for the charcoal male that meant so much to her, even if he didnt kniw it. And when she didnt spot him, her heart dropped for a moment, but then began to make her way back to camp.
