Level 5 was great before it got updated, the higher levels get super difficult if there's a monthly event though :') My team usually dies early but at least I can do quests with my DG team if they do

Its better to save maybe 2000 mushrooms, make sure there is a lot of CP on the wolves, and then buy moves and buy blue jay feathers and just go through it. Yeah they'll die a decent amount of times, however, you'll make more mush for it in the end if your wolves have good cp

I understand that a lot of people think be training in forest 1-2 is better, but the higher level you go, the higher amount of prey/enemies there are.

Aether—4—Band—M: Czar, Sirius, Sierra, Band

Yay! I get to play janitor. Aether sarcastically thought when he heard Czar’s announcement. Seer gets to stand guard while I roll in blood.

However, he wasn’t willing to disobey Czar. Sure, sure the impressive wolf said that it was optional, he doubted that he meant it. Maybe Sirius could get off the hook after disobeying, but he certainly couldn’t. Not with his size. So he uneasily walked over where Sierra was. The strong stinky smell invaded his nose and swallowed another heap of vomit. Unfortunately the fish doesn’t taste as good coming up as it did going down. He could taste the blood from the smell which didn't mix well with the puke in his jaws. He needed to spit it out and couldn't bare to swallow another ball covered with stomach acid. So he made sure no-one was watching him and ducked underneath a bush to unload his "delightful" package. Then he hacked and trotted toward the scent-covering crew. Then he licked his muzzle as if nothing was wrong.

“So, what do we need to do here?” Aether asked. “This is my first time covering a scent trail.”

Sirius—4—Band—M: Cairo, Czar, Storm

“Thank you, Cairo.” Sirius said. He caught Czar’s orders and headed off to secure the prisoner. He took up the right side of the battered wolf. The wolf’s blood-matted fur and ugly wounds made Sirius’ nose twitch uncomfortably. He has to be in so much pain. He managed to change this expression into a lip curl.

“Make one wrong move and I’ll bite your face off.” He growled at the pitiful thing.

So what if that line was very cliché and overdone? It was practically what every band-member sounded like anyway. Plus things are overdone for a reason, right? He forced himself not to stare at the creatures face despite the instinctive nature to ogle at the different.

Delta - 4 - Band - Mentions: Open

Delta turned and began walking back with a plump rabbit firmly clamped in her jaws, she had changed her mind about eating before returning to The Band's camp. There had been something that told her something was happening, so she decided to take her prey and go back, despite the hunger simmering in her stomach. Eh, she wasn't all too hungry anyways, just the start of the pangs, and she was not going to starve anytime soon. As she came back the way she had come, her ears twitched and swiveled at each noise, her nose taking in every scent, and her dark eyes roamed the area in front of her. She would not be taken off guard.

Then the coppery scent of... blood drifted into her nostrils, and it didn't really smell like any of the others', and she had scented their blood several times in a fight. Stopping, the she-wolf tilted her head toward the sky and drew in a deep breath. A stranger's blood. she thought as her head tilted slightl. Hm, interesting

Breaking into a swift trot, she headed toward the camp with a quicker pace than before. Her head lowered, alert for any strange sounds or sights; anticipation rising. Suddenly, her jaws ached to bite something, not like she was holding the rabbit; but to sink her fangs deep in flesh, to fight. The familiar buzz of energy came to her, lending speed to her trot. Wondering what sight would greet her when she returned.

Cairo || 6 || Band || M: Storm, Others

Syl || 3 || Band || M: Storm, Others

He grunted a sort of "you're welcome" to Sirius before ambling after the male to take up a position behind the injured black wolf. Cairo didn't bother throwing out insults or jibes; he left that to the younger male. Instead, he huffed warnings if Storm walked too slow.

He doubted the male would make any moves to escape, but the gray and white wolf kept an eye on his charge's movements anyway. Just in case. This wolf had surprised them in the recent past; Cairo didn't make the same mistakes twice.

Syl had taken up a position on the side opposite Sirius. Her movements were stiff, and it was obvious that she did not enjoy having to take up the role of guardian over the pack wolf. Her orange eyes glowered straight ahead and, but for the occasional nosing of Storm one direction or the other, she made no indication that she even saw the black male. Her mind had wandered elsewhere, specifically to the wistful daydream of hunting.

Autumn || 3 || Loner || M: Band, Pack

Autumn sprints through the forest, leaping over logs and skipping across stones. Her pace rarely slowed until she reached her destination, or what she thought it was.

The scent of blood was weak, seemingly covered by mud and leaves. No signs of a skirmish appeared, but the trail stopped here. What was going on?

Confused, the amber loner started to sniff the ground. While her sense of scent was good (thanks to her mother), it was nowhere near the strongest. She circled around the area of the crime, finding no evidence of a fight of a wounded wolf. However, the female took note of the layout of the ground. It had been tampered with, covering any evidence that had once been present.

Determined for at least some answer, Autumn dug at the tampered ground. Blood scent flooded from underneath the covered earth. It was the source of the wolf-blood. With it came the scent of other wolves, only one of which she recognized.

The amber wolf lifted her nose to the air for any signs of these wolves. But their scent was nowhere. Must have traveled downwind.

A sudden snap from behind her followed by the sound of many paws filled Autumn’s ears. She jumped, facing the direction of the sound, her fur bristled. A realization struck the she-wolf in that very moment. She was in pack territory, right above the patch of covered blood scent.

Oh no.

Amara- Female pup- M: Mushroom
/
The young pup wagged her tail with excitement as she looked up at the older female. "I promise" she said happily before she looked for a place to hide. She spotted one of the empty dens and ran in before she ran out, running around a few of the other pack members. Once Amara thought she had a long enough trail, she finally hid in a bush that outlined the camp, staying in like she told Mushroom she would.

Delta - 4 - Band - Mentions: The Band (Indirect), Storm (indirect), Autumn

The dark she-wolf stopped dead in her tracks, another scent drifted to her, a stranger; with no scent of any packmates. A loner most likely, quite close to the blood-scent. Changing direction, Delta's senses were sharp as she headed toward the loner. The rabbit still hanging from her jaws, swinging limply. Slowing down to a walk from the pace she had been going at, she tracked the scents. Well, that was the stranger's blood she had smelled, seems like another wolf came along and decided to check it out; a foolish decision really. As she came nearer, the scents of the others became apparent, and... ah, what smelled like a pack wolf. Interesting, she thought, mind turning this over. Most pack wolves usually are with another packmate, if she remembered right; why was one off on their own like that? Shaking the question out of her head, she stopped for a moment.

Dropping the rabbit, she sprang out into view of the stranger wolf like a shadow, black fur bristling; hairs jagged like thin cliffs. In a moment, she had sized up the other wolf; a female, with a mainly amber or copper colored pelt with topaz eyes, and she was taller and most likely heavier and stronger than herself. But Delta had won fights with wolves who outclassed her in size and weight before. Her lips peeled back from sharp, white teeth, her ears shoved forward aggressively; dark amber eyes aglow and dancing with an eagerness to fight. There she stood, head and tail held high; with a low, rumbling, growl deep in her throat. Ready to fight, ready to attack, her readiness crystal clear.

"You're foolish for being here, loner." Delta snarled, menace in her voice, lowering her a little head in threat, as if her entire being wasn't threatening.

Autumn || 3 || Loner || M: Delta, Czar (referenced)

The amber female was by the stranger’s appearance. This… was not who she was expecting. She recovers from her shock quickly, arching her hackles and back like a cat - her fur bristling along her spine.

The scent of the wolf filled her nostrils. It had the same tang as those other stranger wolves did. The loner snarled at the smell, her guard increasing ten-fold.

Her snarl turns to a growl at the wolf’s warning, giving it little regard but still acknowledging it. While the dark female seemed to be an easy take down, Autumn assumed otherwise. If she was a part of the rouge group, she doubted that this would be an easy battle.

“I’m the foolish one? Your group was the one who decided to enter pack territory, let alone take a wolf from there and attack it,” the amber and black wolf accused. Autumn did not truly know what went down, but if he was here, she doubted that was anything less than a fight. While Autumn did not hate him - she honestly did not know where she stood with him anymore - she knew him well enough to know the outcome of his presence when with other wolves. It was rarely ever present.

A plan forms in her mind, at the reminder of her long lost “friend.” Her eyes narrow as she puts it into motion. “Besides, are you sure that it is a good idea to attack a friend of Czar?”

Delta - 4 - Band - Mentions: Czar (reference), Autumn,

Delta had noted that the stranger had been shocked, for a moment, and it was changed to aggression. She kept her stance, kept her body still. What was interesting to her was that her threat had been brushed off, which didn't usually happen often, but she wasn't that worried about it; unlike some, she could actually back up her threats with force. She snapped her jaws together, a metallic noise from her teeth colliding sounding sharp and heavy, a warning. Her fur bristling, Delta flicked an ear back at the black and amber loner's accusation, she had guessed what had happened by the scents around them; she had not heard the others planning to attack a pack member, not yet at least. So that was something to remember. She moved a little, shifting her weigh from side to side subtly, to make sure her body was ready to respond with an attack or to an attack.

The she-wolf raised her head when the loner said she was a... friend, of Czar. Really? A hint of caution was added to the mix, but she shook it off quickly. She did not fear Czar as much as she probably should, after all, just because he seemed to the dominant wolf in the Band at the moment didn't mean that much; that could change at any time. She found the claim dubious, even though the strange female seemed to be confident of it; it was a strange thing to say, yet not at the same time. Still bearing her teeth, she took a few paces closer, into lunging distance; her tail had lowered and was straight out with a curve upwards, a sign of threat and depending on the situation, impending attack. Her ears still shoved forward, and dark pelt bristling.

"I have no fondnes for Czar," Delta began, her words coated with a tone that was almost contemptuous, "I don't fear him. Not as much as other wolves. If you think that line will work on me, then you are more foolish than I thought." She spat, sinking down for a moment before launching herself at the loner. If her attack was true and the loner didn't manage to dodge, then the other she-wolf would have Delta's fangs deep in her shoulder, near the back of the neck. Either way, Delta would show she was a much fiercer and vicious opponent than expected; after all, she had seen the stranger's gaze on her, thinking she would be an easy opponent to take down. She hadn't held her own in the Band for so long if she wasn't a proficient fighter, she lived for battle. And would not go down easily.

Spectra | Subordinate | Larkspur

The young she-wolf was probably one of the last to wake up. However, this fear seemed to be much nicer compared the dream she had pulled herself from. Spectra woke up with her head shooting upward and dull pale claws clutching onto the soft ear beneath her. A deep sigh of relief escaped her before she finally composed herself and got up and out of the den.

The pale she-wolf was often one of the first to wake up. As minor a misdemeanor like sleeping in felt like, it still had its consequences. Because as her dull gold eyes browsed acrossed camp, she realized she missed out on a lot of activity.

Apart from briefly spotting the elder of the pack interacting with the young, the lack of wolves idling outside and the piercing scent of drying wounds caught her off guard.

"What happened today?" Spectra softly spoke to herself.

Another deep sigh left her as she headed out from the den and into the open, waiting, contemplating, how to get in the know of everything that happened, and for something else to happen.

But perhaps she didn't have to. Spectra's ears perked up in the direction of Camilla's frantic movements. And soon after she spotted her with the Alpha, Larkspur. Of course, Spectra could just get up to speed with the Alpha. The grey she-wolf was quietly slinking over until Larkspur called for the pack's attention, pausing Spectra in her tracks.

"I need a wolf to track the patrol party and get them back here." the Alpha called out.

This turned into a much better opportunity, and Spectra wouldn't waste.

"Let me handle that," the grey she-wolf finally responded, ready and willing.
