"I don't think it will be a problem. I don't see a reason why a dominant would refuse unless one of them had a serious defect," Ajihad said.

Siku/ Siku Pride, dominant male / Siku listened to what Ajihad said, and nodded in agreement. "I find mating rights fine, for now. I also agree that new mates should ask permission to be mates", he said. "So now that we have discussed the mating rights just now, do anybody have any question?", he asked to all the lions. He was anxious to be talking about leadership. Sky only knows how it would turn out. Hopefully not into a bloodbath.

Khaleesi and Astrid were curious how all this would work. So far it didn't sound like the combined pride would be any different than the separated prides. At least it seemed everyone had similar views. It would make it easier to figure everything out and get along.

Luna ran up towards her parents and spoke. "Would my momma and daddy lead" she asked. She smiled as she looked up at them, nuzzling both before she saw the shocked look on Aria's face. / Aria looked at the cub who spoke before she looked at Siku. She has never seen a white cub with blue eyes before. She wondered if the cub would even be able to hunt later without scaring off prey.

Ajihad saw Aria do a double take. He moved in between them protectively. "I don't know. We haven't decided yet," he whispered to her. He felt that he had a fair chance. There was more of his pride, Siku was getting old and it was about time a younger lion took his position, and he had ruled over some of both prides already.

Luna smiled. "I want you a momma to rule" she said with a small giggle. It was really all she knew. The young cub thought it was all fun and games. She didn't know what all came with running a pride. She looked up as Amara pulled Luna back. "Sweetie, the adults need to figure it out. We can't just say we will rule. We need to have a compromise about who will lead" she said.

He knew it might be awkward, but they could have the dominants not be mates. "We could have I as the dominant male and Aria as the dominant female or we could have Siku as the dominant male and Amara as the dominant female," he suggested. "At least until we figure what it will be like and if we agree on things," he said.

Amara looked at Ajihad. "Are you sure that would be a good idea? It would be a bit, odd" she said. She wouldn't object to it though if the others agreed. "It could help figure out what needs to be set in stone and agreed on before we vote for sure who the dominant pair should be."

Ajihad shrugged, "I'm sort of brain storming. I think it will work if we need it to, but I definitely think it could work for short term. We need to find a way to fairly decide who should be leader." He looked at Siku pride wondering if they would like to try that out. Edited at March 28, 2020 02:22 PM by Candor

Siku/ Siku Pride, dominant male / Siku also widened his eyes in surprise and shock, and stepped back. He closed his eyes briefly to compose himself and looked at the cub again, with a straight face. This cub, looked exactly like his first mate. Back in his nomad days, he met a starving lioness that struggled to hunt, and he helped her. They bonded quickly, but only in her first month of pregnancy, she got killed by monkey-like creatures. Siku prayed for his heart to quieten, and looked at Ajihad. "I agree with Amara, it would be odd. But as Ajihad said, we could have that for a short term. Maybe as both prides will live together, we could all together choose another heir after, let's say, a month or two?", Siku suggested smoothly, glancing at Aria to see if she is fine with that.
