Plot: Hundreds of years ago, humans decided they weren't satisfied with their abilities and talents. They wanted stuff more extreme. Something like rapid healing or fire powers. They created a gas that gave them these powers and mutations like wings. But it was also toxic. Anyone who exhaled it died soon after. Entire species went extinct due to the greedy people, who themselves went extinct. The gas had gotten released and killed off almost everything... everything except for the inhabitants of an isolated island. Some of the gas reached it, but not enough to kill many. Instead it only gave the animals the powers and mutations. Wolves especially. They became smarter, slightly bigger, and most importantly, some developed some of these abilities or mutations.

dark based powers
:
-fire, dark based fire is also known as chaos magic. There are different types of fire that can be made. Ruby flame, the weakest flame. It doesn't burn but produces some heat and the most light. Light red flame. Blood flame, it burns things, but only if told to. Blood red flame. Dark flame, the second strongest, it doesn't make any light. Dark red flame. Lastly, Chaos flame, the most powerful and dangerous type. Dark red flame with black center. It is hard to control and seems to have a mind of its one. Burns anything it touches except it's creator. The wolf with this power can make their fur light itself on fire. Their red eyes are a sign of their magic as well as markings on their paw pads that look like flames. Fireproof. Known as "Sun Wolves".
*
-water, dark based water is really ice magic. It is the second rarest. Two types of ice can be made: normal ice, it is just ice. And then their is dark ice, it freezes things but doesn't kill them. The wolf with this power can shoot shards of ice from their tails and aren't affected by cold or ice.
*
-earth, pretty common, these wolves can make all types of plants grow much faster, but they have to already be their.
*
-wind, more of a hypnotizing power, it can confuse wolves and yeah, that's basically it.
*
-dark, wolves with these powers have pelts that absorb light and can make shadows that can blind wolves temporarily. Can make dark purple electricity
*
Light Based elemental powers (same rarities as dark based)
Fire: These wolves can create blinding and extremely hot blasts of fire. They can also make fire in orb form that doesn't burn and only burns as well as normal fire. These wolves are marked with orange eyes and a flame marking on the paw pads. They are also fireproof. Known as "Sun Wolves" like the wolves with the dark version of the power.
*
Water: They can make waves with their tails instead of ice like in the dark version of the power. They can breathe underwater.
*
earth: the exact same as the dark version
*
Wind: these wolves can make it rain when it is cloudy and make it sunny if it is not too cloudy. They can also make small tornadoes but it uses all of their energy and usually is a last resort
*
Heat/light: These wolves don't have strong enough fire to be considered to be a sun wolf but radiate heat and can make the legs, paws, and tail light on fire with enough energy.

Non elemental powers/abilities
*
-Bird/Snake whisperer, wolves that have a magical bond with birds or snakes.
*
-super strength, makes wolf extra strong wolf.
*
-super speed, makes wolf extra fast wolf.
*
-rapid healing (idk), makes wolves heal very fast, though they can be killed if done quickly
*
-eternal blaze, the ability to survive fatal injuries (though the wolf will still be very injured and will be unable to fight or probably even move and will most likely be unconscious for a few days) and heal slightly faster
*
Mutations
*
-Wings, literally just wings. Usually bird like wings but on rare occasions dragon like wings.
*
-Shoulder feathers, useless feathers on shoulders. Not really a mutation.
*
-Color mutation, unnatural fur coloring like a bit of green or blueish fur.
-----
The wolves eventually made packs and clans (multiple packs led by a lead pack) and even a city in the desert. The Raven's Nest. Heavily guarded with weapons made by humans long ago and towering walls and a gate that surrounds the city, the wolves are safe from threats lurking outside. But inside... is a whole lot different. The wolves that find their way in, whether originally captured and later released into the city, or let in by the Lady of the Nest after being exiled from their clan or pack, these mainly desert wolves are either assassins, thieves, criminals, wolves on the run, violent guards, the Lady of the Nest, or sometimes shop keepers as well as something else. In the center of the city is an oasis pool with a wolf-made island in its center. On the small island is a tent where the Lady of the Nest (The one in charge) resides. The tent and pool are guarded by wolves with powers and/or mutations, especially winged wolves. Dozens more winged wolves sit atop the impenetrable walls, always alert and ready for a fight. All the wolves lower than the Lady of the Nest, guards, and the royal assassin fight to survive in the city, all while battling illnesses and the harsh conditions of the desert.
Role guide
Lady of The Nest: A female wolf that acts as the one in charge of the city. She lives in the tent on the island in the middle of the Oasis pool.
Lead Guards: There are three lead guards. One is in charge of the gates, one is in charge of the pool, and the last is in charge of the dungeon. They order everyone below them around, including the Royal assassins. They have to get permission to let outsiders in and let wolves out, though they are known to disobey.
Royal Assassins: The personal assassins of the Lady of The Nest. They get orders to kill or capture specific wolves and will get punished if they fail or disobey.
Guards: they guard the gates, dungeon, and oasis pool. They take orders from the Lady of The Nest and Lead Guards.
Medic: They care for sick and injured wolves and prisoners if told to.
Assassins: they can be hired by anyone if they are payed enough.
