The plot:

Due to famine, many families had to give up their children to survive. To give them a better life. Little did they know, it just made their lives worse. They were underfed, and had to wear their old, ratty clothes that they had come there in. The “Mom/Grandmother” of the house was mistreating all of the children, and the children had had enough. The plan was to escape the home, in search of life outside of the orphanage. The only problems are that, one, the security of the facility is tight, and two, there's a famine, so they need to hoard materials. Will you be able to escape?

Description:

In most people's eyes, Yasahiro would be "Dreamy." That is, all except for himself. His hair is shoulder length (About 3 Inches down from his chin) , and he can never tame it. His eyes are a deep, almost hypnotic gray. The little highlights prominent in them are so beautiful, green as can be. The outfit that he arrived in was a faded blue polo shirt with the buttons all popped off. His shorts were a faded red, and reached down to a little bit past his knee. He has a few physical scars. His eye, for example, was blinded when he was struck by the captain of the boat that he was on, because he had no parents and was found by the captain. He also usually keeps his arms under his sleeves, as he has many scars from the brutally abusive man that the boat"s leader was.

Personality:

He usually keeps to himself, not much of a talker. He doesn't really like socializing, and he doesn't have many skills in that department. He is clingy and protective when it comes to the kids of the orphanage, and he will not hesitate to hurt someone on behalf of his friends.

Description: Thad has darkened tan/brown skin and has medium length scruffy and spikey very dark reddish-brown hair. His eyes are rich, warm chocolate colored, but one eye has Heterochromia and is half greenish-gray and half is the rich, warm chocolate with a tint of hazel color to it. His face is littered with freckles.

He is somewhat short for his age, sickly thin and has an almost soft feminine look to his build(especially the face).
He has numerous scars, the most noticeable are across the bridge of the nose, one that runs down across both lips and stops under the chin, another across his left blinded eye that runs up to the middle of the forehead; he also has one on his right shoulder and a huge one on his upper back.

He has a prosthetic leg that has is really self conscious about(he is very self conscious about his looks overall too).

Personality:

shy, softspoken, thoughtful, inquisitive, somewhat of a wallflower, and reserved at first, can even almost come across as cold at first to some.

He's scared of a lot of things and is honestly not strong at all, he's even somewhat weaker than girls around his age.

Once you find a crack in his shell and keep at it until you've broken down his walls, you will have a friend for life who will protect you as much as he can. He'd even give his life for you if it came down to it.

Likes: looking at art, animals, music, video games, reading(even though he struggles greatly with this), guys, Ridley, drawing things himself, stuffed animals

Dislikes: loud noises, crowds, being completely alone, semi-large groups(he does best when with only two or three other people at most, though even theree can often be pushing it), bullies, himself, heights, fire, water, bugs/insects/arachnids/creepy crawlys, sharp objects

Other: His mother is Latino/Asian and his father is African/Irish.
Owns a service dog named Ridley for mobility assistance, medical alert and a couple other things. Ridley was a stray that Thad found in a box on the side of a highway entrance. Unfortunately Ridley was the only surviving pup, just barely. Thad nursed the puppy who was only days old to health and Ridley has since been repaying the small boy and has saved his life more than once.
