Samuel smiled and ended the voice call. He quickly smartened up and put the hoodie into a bag. Samuel smiled and looked in the mirror and his tussled hair and left it be. He ran outside in a flash, forgotting to get his phone, the bag and the spare keys. Sam went through the house shutting locking the windows and the doors . After the last door was locked . He began cycling with his bike , Avery Park wasn't that far away and he really didn't mind cycling when he knew Theo was at the destination. He stopped on the way to buy some sweets and to text Amy *Hey Amy, Just wanted you to know that I am with Theo and I locked the house up , hope you enjoy whatever you are doing and see you later. * Sam looked at his watch and sighed , It was 20 minutes since he had last called Theo so he needed to get a move on. He quickly leapt into his bike and pedaled as fast as he could.
When he got there, he locked his bike up and resisted the urge to flop onto the ground . He began to look around for Theo. |

The gullible human and the siren. Just who he wanted to see. Vinnie's lip curled just slightly before he noticed what--or rather who--the pair were glaring at. Some sort of disheveled man? Interesting. Vinnie listened for a moment. The disheveled man spoke idly about his name--Milo--and the fact that he was undisturbed until being spoken to. Of course, the Siren wasn't exactly the most... outgoing either. Her eyes were full of distaste and malice. The other human seemed completely oblivious--even held a muffin out to the man. "He wasn't being rude," Vinnie finally stated, taking careful steps forward. "If anything it was that siren," he spat the words out. "As they usually do. You know you can't trust them--like, at all--right? This poor guy is just out for a walk along the shore and you snap at him like he's in the wrong despite you--" he pointed at the siren "being in full form in front of the humans."
Vinnie kept a respectable distance away from Milo until the human walked up to him--to which he stepped in front of him and lifted one hand up. "Keep the muffin to yourself. We don't know where it's been or if it's been poisoned." One arm wrapped around Milo's shoulders, although a touch awkwardly since there really was only 2 inches of difference between the two males. He was getting some slight sense of discomfort from Milo and his own hostility toward the siren was almost impeccable. Vinnie let out a short noise, almost a scoff. "Come on, Milo. We can leave these two... to their own games." |
