Inka nudged the child towards the food before padding back around to lay down next to Rhyder, keeping an eye on Damian expectantly.

Rhyder tilted his head. He wiggled his nose a little. Damian looked at the fawn and made a gross face. He turned around and looked at Inka and Rhyder. He stuck his tongue out at the raw meat."I prefer mine cooked."

Inka tilted her head slightly. What? Cooked? What did that mean..? She wondered glancing over at Rhyder a little worriedly.

Rhyder tilted his head in question. Seeing the confused look on the wolves faces, Damian decided to explain. "You heat the meat over a fire." Rhyder growled at the word fire.

Inka growled a little but stood up after a moment. She padded over to the meat and looked at it as if there was something wrong with it, "What does he mean? Fire? What does he want with fire?!" She asked quickly.

"I don't know. I don't even know how to start a fire." Rhyder said getting up. He walked to the meat and started to sniff it. "It smells fine to me." He took a small bite. "Tastes fine too."

She shook her head, "Of course it's fine!" She grumbled padding's over time the lifeless creature, "He can eat the berries until we figure it out." She huffed.

"Yeah. I would pick some more for him, but he doesn't appreciat thatlike you do." Rhyder sighed and laid down.

She shook her head and padded to his side, "You mean you're to lazy to get them yourself, so you're sending me to get them?" She asked with a chuckle, rubbing her head against his for a moment.

"No. I tried to give him some and he looked disgusted so I had to take him to the bush. And if I carry him you would have to go anyways because your my guide remember." He laughed and licked her cheek.
