Desert Lily walked through the alleyways, trying to keep her pawsteps quiet. Then finally there was a mouse a bit big either a large mouse or a quite small rat. She lowered into a crouch then sprang, Her claws outstretched. She landed on the mouse and killed it. She then picked it up, and started walking to find a safe place to store it.

Rock smiled inside as Mouse pressed close to him. That feeling corsed through him again, but he shook it off. Her tounge licked at his stinging wounds. He started to lick his sore paws. They were raw with the effort of fighting Ensom. He turned and look at Mouse, who was still licking his wounds. "Thank you Mouse, that cat was strong, and I didn't judge him right."

Mouse stopped licking, "I'm just glad you're okay." she pressed her nose into his fur, then continued licking. "I can hunt you something if you'd like." Mouse offered. Or get something to drink, Mouse knew somewhere she could go. "Here, can you walk?"

He nodded, "I think I can." He said, attempting to get up. He fell hard the first time, his right paw pad started to bleed. But not showing any signs of weakness, got up again and stayed. "Yeah, let's go." He said, and started limping towards the hunting grounds and water holes.

Mouse looked at him worried, but knew that he wanted to look strong so she continued padding by his side, staying there just in case he needs to lean on her. "I think I know a good place, follow me." she mewed.

(What time is it? Is it still night?)

Ensom lay on the cold concrete behind some boxes. His stomach not only hurt because of the scars Rock gave him, but because he hadn't eaten for so long. His bleeding had slowed to a stop and now he was on curled up and trying to sleep through his grief.

Then he smelled a familar smell. One he hadn't smelled in a long time. He raised his head up and his eyes fell on a half eaten can of wet cat food.

He licked his lips and rolled over to try and ignore the food. The pain becoming more intense as he waited.

He rolled back over to look at the cat food.

Rock followed after Mouse slightly leaning on her side. His stomach growled and the pain in his back and face burned. The parchness in his throat made him feel dry. When was the last time he had taken a drink? He swallowed hard. The hunger driving him through the weakness and exhaustion. He knowed that what he did was right. That murderer wouldnt be around for awhile, and hopefully never again.

Tiger Lily walked back to her den, she had been unlucky enough to not catch anything today.

Desert Rose walked through the maze of skin dens, the mouse hanging limply from her jaws. She wanted to catch more before heading back to the den.

Mouse could feel Rock struggling and a pang of sympathy struck her. "We're almost there." she whispered to Rock, hoping that she encouraged him.

As they continued he got weaker and weaker. But he replied as if he had energy, "Ok." He said. But limped along. His eyes started to flutter and dehydration started to course through him. His vision started to go blurry, his legs uncontrollably wobbling. Then his vision went black and he hit the ground hard. Immediately unconscious.
