Mouse looked at her suspiciously. Her? Scared of an skin? Mouse remembered that LG was the one who acted agressive when they first met. She couldn't imagine LG being scared of a skin. "Okay, I guess. Just be careful, there's a murderer on the loose. Being alone is not that safe. We just saved another cat that was taken by the murderer." Hopefully Macy's okay... she thought, remembering the poor cat laying in front of her skin's home.

Rock looked at Mouse and then shrugged it off. "They aren't really a threat though" he said. "But sorry, Drat is dead." He said sadly.

Mouse nodded sadly. She wished she could press up against Rock. "Well, at least we know that no one is in danger yet." Mouse said.

"When we saw you we wanted to make sure you knew. They killed Drat and almost Macy, but luckily she survived." He nodded, "We are searchung for the murderer, so they dont do it again."

Mouse sighed. "Well, what now?" Suddenly, her paws felt heavy like stones, and she realized that she hadn't slept in a while. All of these events that have been happening have really been stressful, she realized.

Rock looked at Mouse. She looked exhausted and tired, she had started swaying on her paws. He went iver to her and layed down. "Mouse, we can take a break," he said. "You look tired."

(I feel that I've been gone too long~)

Ensom stood up. He had been trying to sleep for hours, but just couldn't. His stomach growled but he ignored it. He hadn't eaten in weeks.

Today is the day... He thought. He left his dark den and continued to the city. He was being cautious as he scanned the alleys, he knew that if they saw him, they would attempt to kill him. Except anyone other than that tan tortie. They haven't even seen me yet, it would take a few moments for them to register whether it's me or not. But I've seen them... All of them... He kept looking down alleys when he peeked around the corner of one and immediatly pulled his head back. There they are... Mouse and the orange tabby. And behind them... the tan tortie... This is perfect. I've just got to wait for one to leave the others. He carefully crept behind some boxes, being sure to keep his darker side facing out and hiding his lighter side. Then he sat and waited.

Mouse sat down. "It isn't safe here. I don't want to be ambushed." She whispered to Rock, and she looked at LG. "Maybe you should stay with us for a while, it isn't safe alone." she said.

(Dang, she hasn't eaten for a while too. Or drank. Also, how long is the night lol)

Rock smiled as she layed down next to him. "You should, the murderer could be lurking anywhere." He licked the top of Mouse's head. The murderer could be watching them right now.

Mouse was still worried that the murderer might ambushed them, but was too tired to care. She set her head down on her paws and closed her eyes, telling herself she'll just sleep for a moment, but soon, she was in a deep sleep.
