Khazhak Hunter | M | Mentions: The Pack, Open I've been sick and unable to keep up, so I'm just going to kind of make up whatever happened to keep him from the group til now.
Bright eyes quietly peered out from the dark crevice the raptor was resting in. They darted around in observance, taking in every little thing he not only saw but heard and smelled too. A soft growl rumbled in the chest of the male as he slowly rose to his feet before ducking out of the crevice warily. There was a limp to his step, and blood leaked down his leg from where claw mark lacerations were etched into his hide. They weren't lethal or crippling, though they slowed him down a bit, but they weren't something that Khazhak was thrilled to have. He'd been chased into the small crevice but a larger species of raptor, one of them having been lucky enough to land the blow to his leg. Unfortunately for them, and thankfully for him, they hadn't been able to reach him in his little hidey hole, and, eventually, they had given up and taken off.
That had been hours ago. He hadn't wanted to take any chances of them lingering about, waiting until he felt confident enough to step out into sight before pouncing on him. So he had waited, and finally now was ready to return home. Grimacing in pain the male chirped to himself and then began to trot in the direction of the pack. He was following his nose, knowing the likelihood of them being where he had left them a while ago was low. What disturbed him, though, was the way their scents came to him. Blood, fear, anger, all of it was mixed in with the scents, and concern flooded through him. He forced himself to move faster, ignoring the pain in his leg as fresh blood oozed out of the wound as a result.
As he drew closer to where their scents were freshest he let out a soft, calling chirp, clacking his jaws together quickly as he looked around. His claws tapped the ground as he moved otherwise silently. He'd feel much better once he found them and could verify all was well with his own eyes.

Nightmare "She is out of it and trying to keep warm right now, we should wait until she at least gets warm," I assured her "Otherwise it might make her case worse," I explained. --------------------------------------------------------------- Writers block

The forest Pterosaurs flew overhead near the ravines, and a rex roared in the far far distance. Meanwhile, there was a spinosaur in the lake snarling at some Utahraptors that got to close to its triceratops kill. There was a therizinosaurus a few miles from the cave in which the pack lived. All these places were to dangerous for micros to ever venture, so the pack had forbidden it. It was these same places the traitors had taken a micro to, many years ago. Nobody could prove it was them, but at least they had left. The compys ran away from the pack's cave, they weren't smart enough to plan a counter attack. The pack could rest for the moment. At least until a Utahraptor eventually finds a scent trail.

India-SIC-6 India nodded, "Okay thank you, I think I might get some food.". India stood up, her head was dizzy as she slowly walked to the prey pile. Nosing through the pile her muzzle landed on a fresh belly peice of an anxlosaurus. India took out the meat and brought it with her to a flat rock in the shade. She hopped up onto the rock and started tearing the meat, picking up the meat and eating it she saw Khazhak. India chittered at him, her side wound was hurting but not as bad because she had eaten. "Khazhak, hello. Where have you been?" India continued munching on her food.

Khazhak Hunter | M | Mentions: India
Eventually the male Velo reached the cave the pack was currently residing in, his eyes taking in their appearance quietly. It appeared that they'd had a rough go of it as well. He paused briefly when someone greeted him, shifting his weight so that less was being bared on his bad leg and parted his jaws to reply. However, he snapped them shut and eyed the Second in Command quietly as he feathers physically ruffled along his body. It was a tell tale sign that the male was in a bad mood, which, truthfully, who could blame him? He'd gotten separated from the group, been injured, and the first thing he was asked was 'Where have you been?' No concern? Not even faux-worry? A soft growl rolled from the male as he stepped forward, intent on moving away from the other raptor. "Out." He ground out before walking past her to a free spot away from the others and gingerly laid himself down. There he set to gently licking his wound. He knew he should check on his mate, to ensure she was okay and that the pack was otherwise whole. However, he didn't want to bring his frustration at her, and resolved to let himself cool off before approaching any of the others.

Nightmare I Raised my head at the sound of Khazhak's name. I saw him approach and snap at another raptor, his limp grabbed my attention. I quickly finished gathering the herbs and mixed them up, using my claw to apply the numbing otherwise I wouldn't be able to feel my hand. I put it on each of their wounds, even the small Alsaela. I quickly looked over all of them before trotting over to Khazhak and nuzzling him. "I was worried," I said "But you probably look better than the rest of them," I said jokingly. I examined his wound and tended to it, it wasn't too bad and just needed numbing to get rid of the pain. I applied a little "The numbing should get rid of the pain. Try and avoid picking at it, it should heal up quickly otherwise." I explained and sat down. My main focus was on him currently, everyone else should be settled and feel relaxed from the numbing.

Oculta-Female-Huntress ~ Oculta woke up a few hours later to her leg, burning worse, much much worse. She moaned and licked her leg, attempting to clean it of. Why does it hurt so much..? She moaned again and curled up. She suddenly felt very dehydrated, but still couldn't stand up. She started to drag herself towards the stream *wherever it is* and started lapping up the water. She closed her eyes, and kept slurping up more and more. She sat there for like three minutes, drinking, but still felt thirsty. Come on water... Why aren't you quenching my thirst? What are your secrets, water?

Alsaela One should always note that children never do the expected. So she slipped into dreams. (ha! Thought I was gonna wake her? Nope! Not yet.) She was running through the vibrant trees, leaping over streams. For once her tail wasn't tripping her and throwing her off balance. She was racing after the pack, seemingly on a hunt. She was an adult in her dream, nearly as tall as Alpha. They all stumbled into A clearing, where an enormous Utahraptor was waiting for them, its teeth bared and its claws ready to attack. The vibrant colors turned dark and her pack mates rushed to take down the beast. Everything a round her grew taller and more terrifying, so she began to run at the raptor, trying to help her packmates. The breeze turned into a thunderous wind, voices booming down in a jumble. She found she couldn't move, as vines wrapped and entangled her legs and dragged her down. She chirped for help, but her pack mates couldn't hear her and were trying to fight the Utahraptor. Meanwhile, she was twitching in her sleep, squeaking and hissing slightly. You could see her limbs kick a tiny bit, but it just seemed that she was having a small dream. You wouldn't guess she was in a nightmare at all. Edited at November 22, 2022 12:38 PM by WendiKore

India-SIC-6 India squinted suspisously at Khazhak, he seemed to be limping. She finished up her meal and checked her side, it was feeling an awful bit better, the food had seemed to help. India stood up and shook her head, her side was feeling better but she had a headache. As she walked back to the cave she saw Khazhak and his mate, Nightmare, she respected him enough to leave him be but she wanted to know what had happened. India turned and walked over to the two mates, "Khazhak, I noticed you are limping. Why is that exactly?" she wanted to know badly and was quite impatient.
