Fox, the bibs work pretty well from what I've heard / read! Dude, yeah. It's really rough. I would get so paranoid if my puppy (Omen) did anything even slightly concerning. Like breathing quickly, coughing, or acting under stimulated at all. |

outdoor cats live an average of 2-5 years while indoors live 10-20. it's the owners negligence in protecting their pet. |

Any couples on here? Or in a relationship. Because my boyfriend is making fun of me cause I hate storms and I also hate a the dark. Yes I'm an adult and scared of things like I'm a child. |

okay time for me to sleep. I will try to update on the bird. Goodnight chat |

Kodi- sadly true. I live next to a woodland so they're just gonna keep picking stuff up. Going to try that bib I think, I'm sure they'll hate me but I don't care. And yeah that's understandable. When I got benji as a kitten I constantly wouod wake him up to make sure he was still breathing :') |

Fox Mine literally attacks the windows and hisses trying to fight the neighbors cat. |

Silver- luckily the door to my cabin is warped really bad haha! So I propped it only an inch at the bottom and it's open 4-5 inches at the top (told you it was bad lol). And there's no way of a cat jumping up to that as there's no ledge Thank you! I'm hoping it pulls through. Wasn't much I could do, 2am, about to go to bed, just got out the shower 😭 |

Hey, what is it with pets and just swallowing their food? My cat swallows food and treats like a vacuum and only chews every other second. |
Ecifircas |
Fox, yeah, losing pets suddenly can make you really paranoid. My friend's dog died from choking on food and for ages I was so cautious about my dog even just eating treats too quickly and coughing. |

Fox I will be praying is does not croak... that would be just too sad. I'm sure you did it already, but put the door on the carrier so the cat doesn't get in.. and hopefully the bird doesn't get out. You look like a real natural with bird saving, I think you are doing great ❤ And yes, cats are little horrors, what you said is 100% true |

Theres a lot of stray cats where I live that live in the serwers no clue how many there are but most of them seem caught up with bullying any dog smaller than them in sight |
Ecifircas |
Fox, you can't negate the detrimental effects of cats on wildlife anywhere in the world. Even on the quiet roads here, they get enough traffic to pose a risk to a cat. Add to that that they can fight with other cats and off leash dogs could easily nab your cat. I could never. ;__; |

Culturally the shift to indoor cats in the UK just hasn't happened yet. It's on the rise but I think it'll be another 10 years or so before it really takes hold. People are just culturally used to having cats that both go indoors and outdoors. |

Kodi- yeah I was against letting them out but they're my mums cats and it's her house so wasn't much I could do. I tried using harnesses to begin with but just didn't work out. It's my own fear I think. Lost raven really suddenly (he had a fit from an undetected heart problem) and now I'm just super fearful of losing them in any way. If all else fails I will just have them wear a regular collar |

I have birds the size of foxes where I live. They're pretty chill, but I know for a fact that they would happily scoop my chonk up if they could. ;_; |

Fox we have some neighbors who let their cat out at night. It comes to my backyard and annoys my inside cat. |
