Hey there. I've been slacking with naming my wolves since... forever, and now I have too many unnamed wolves sitting in my den. I'm looking for name suggestions on a rolling basis, so even if I don't use your names immediately, I may get a wolf that fits one further down the line.
How this works
-Post your name suggestions here. If you want to suggest a name for a specific wolf, please link them.
-I will periodically go through this post when naming
-If I use a name you suggest generally to this topic, I will pay you 100 mushrooms per name.
-If I use a name that was suggested for a specific wolf for that wolf, I will pay 150 mushrooms. The wolf must be specified in your post. If I use the name on a different wolf, you will still get 100 mushrooms.
-Bounties: if I use a name you suggested specifically for a bounty wolf, I will pay you 200 mushrooms. Again, the bounty wolf must be specified in your post.
Update as of 6/21/2025:
-For any post suggesting more than 3 names per wolf, only the first three will be regarded as for that wolf and eligible to net 150 mush. The extras will be considered general names and will only net 100 mush, even if I use it for the suggested wolf
-Please do NOT edit your post to suggest new names. This is to make it easier to tell when names were added and pay the original suggestor. To suggest additional names make a new post.
-Additionally, in regards to post order, the most recent edit will be considered for all names suggested in the post. This means that even if someone suggests a name after your original post but you edit yours later, then they will be considered the first person to suggest that name, even if it was in your original suggestion. This is because I cannot see edit history and cannot tell what was original and what was edited.
Things to note:
-Try to be original as if there are duplicate suggestions of name I use, I will only pay the first person who posts it.
-Please limit suggestions to ~20 names per person at a time and 3 names per person for a specific wolf.
-I don't like long names. Take a look at my den to see what I typically name my wolves.
-Wolves being trained will not be named until they reached death grip. They reside outside the folders and have the rank "Rising."
-Wolves in Purgatory may be retired without being named. This also goes for pups in the main den as that's just where they're born. I am very likely to keep wolves in Heartbeat, but there are no guarantees.
