Tene - Hmm, well an effort* (misspelled this) was made at least. XD

If they look like bubbles, I might suggest overlapping the semicircles so they layer on top of one another. You can also always go look up reference to see what actual reptile skin looks like, since there's tons of variety between something like the humble leopard gecko, a horned lizard, and the gharial. Some folks will immediately appear to assume that if they're drawing a dragon, the scales need to look like the perfectly interlocking gridwork on a snake, but that ain't always the case. Best of luck with whatever you do, though! These are just lil suggestions that I hope you'll find helpful. ^^

that's actually a smart idea. i find that i often do the snake method when i consider the rare chance of drawing scales (i usually just don't draw scales at all. we love not putting in effort). im gonna try your suggestions out. i'm planning on drawing her up in another angle, so i'll try those tips out. stay tuned ;-;
