"Mary, Mary, Mary," Mother would always say. Three times, never two, never once, never four. "Mary, Mary, Mary" sometimes I'd appear, sometimes I wouldn't. Sometimes she'd say my name simply to see me, other times she'd say it in disbelief.

"Mary, Mary, Mary! What have you done?!" was the first thing I remember hearing after I tore my younger brother to shreds. The warmth of his blood, the warmth of his love, it appealed to a darker side of me.

"Mary, Mary, Mary!" she shrieked as she pulled me off him. Her white paws stained with red as she tried to resuscitate the mangled body. When it failed, she came to me and licked his blood clean off my body. I quickly went to work, as well, as I never liked being dirty.

But the blood wouldn't come off.

It was sticky and warm, and sticky and warm things like to stick to other warm things. It seeped into my striped fur and made itself home within my DNA. I licked and licked and licked. I licked until my tongue bled. Now my blood could be part of my brother's blood.

Every now and then Cynth tries to lick me clean. "Mary, Mary, Mary," she says. "You're quite the dirty girl," she says under her breath. I don't like being dirty, but I like having a piece of my brother no matter where I go.

"You remind me of Thron," Cynth says. "Always bloody, never pure."

I want to make Cynth proud. She's like an older sister to me. Maybe, one day, my fur will be adorned with her blood, too.

Personality
Born under the sign of Virgo, Mary likes things clean. Her den, her teeth, her mind, her fur. "A clean mind is a happy mind!" she always says.

She likes to tend to the camp anyway she can. She picks up after the others, and adds pretty little flowers that she finds; when she can, at least. There aren't a lot of living, pretty things in No Man's Land. She tends to criticize the way Cynth and Thron organize the camp, which irritates them considerably.

Preferences
"Mice are the best," Mary twiddles her toes around a dismembered mouse tail. Mice are the best because, to Mary, they are the cleanest, most pure of all prey. They're small, meaning they aren't messy. They can be swallowed whole. "What's better than the feeling of a whole mouse going down your throat?" she chuckles to herself.

She has a bit of a crush on Noah, too. She likes the mind games that he plays. The two are always going back and forth with each other, either verbally or physically.

She really likes Cynth, too, and sees her as a mother figure.

Special Skills
Virgo the Maiden blesses Mary with the skill of deceit. On the surface she is a prim and proper lady, but beneath she houses a lust that no mortal could ever satisfy.
