"Mmm," Thron was muttering something indecipherable beneath his breath. Everyday was the same: wake up, check his wounds that never seem to heal, lick at them until they reopen, nudge his mate awake, check on his packmates, send out orders, and retreat back into his den where he lay motionless the rest of the day.

Thron was always mistaken to be older than he really was. Tuffs of scars and open wounds will do that to you. Scars and wounds are normal within the Stingers, though; the landscape they live in didn't help that. He was only three, but the way his bones and muscles screamed at him with every movement day after day made him reconsider his actual age. Was he actually three? Three years isn't that old, yet it feels like a lifetime for Thron.

He wasn't that large, only a little bigger than the average adult female wolf. But there were few who questioned his superiority. When Scorpion and Horror, the founders of this pack, disappeared without a trace, it was Thron who stood up and took leadership. Many of the Stingers original wolves fled and formed their own pack with the disappearance of Stinger and Horror, but a few wolves respected Thron enough to stay.

He hides his illness. He hides his chronic pain. He refuses to show how weak he really is. But everyday is getting more and more challenging, and with winter on the rise, he isn't sure how much longer he's got.

Personality
Not even his own mate is sure of his personality. Thron keeps to himself, letting the pack manage itself, it seems. He's quiet, withdrawn, and in pain. When is there ever a moment for the poor pup to not be in pain? It seems that his pain and illnesses is all he is and all he will ever live up to. The only thing his mate knows of him is the burning sensation he feels across his entire body.

He is determined, though. He will not allow his pain to get in the way of living his life. He does his best to hunt, to fend for his packmates; though, really, it should be himwho the pack should be caring for.

"I do love a good, plump rabbit," Thron's tongue wraps around his maw in one quick flick.

Rabbits and the occasional mouse is surely a treat to brighten up his day. He also enjoys warm summer nights, where the fireflies glow and sparkle. "Winter is the most dreadful of seasons," he would always say. "Nothing good happens in winter." I suppose we should just ignore the fact that he was born in winter, hm?

Special Skills
When Thron is in a fit of rage, all his pain goes poof. He turns into a killing machine. It's where his nickname, Blood Thrower, comes from. Suddenly it becomes clear why he is the alpha.

He was born under the sign of Capricorn, granting him rulership of Saturn. He has the ability to grow hooves where his paws are; though these hooves only come out when he is in his fit of rage. His teeth become extra sharp and large, able to devour anything in his path.
