Plot The Maddens are an upper-class family consisting of (Name), the father of the family and a solicitor, Anastasia, the mother of the house, Theodore and Angelina, the oldest of the family and a set of twins, Mordecai, the youngest boy in the family and Elenora, the youngest girl of the family in 1863. The Maddens live in a quiet terrace home on the outskirts of London. Their house is not a mansion in the slightest but it is far bigger and fancier than the average person`s. The Maddens are on the lower end of the upper class but the upper class nonetheless. The twins have recently come of age which leads to their parents starting to push them toward a future that the parents want but not necessarily the kids. |

Angelina | 18 Years | Female | Twin | Mentions: Entire Family (ind), Open! - The sun was rising outside, the light peaking slightly into the young woman's corridor. Angelina was sitting up in her neatly made bed looking out the window into the snowy landscape before her, London, the place she and her family called home. Her eyes wandered off of the window and around her room, her eyes landed on her cabinet where a white robe was hanging. As Angelina stood up swiftly she made sure to walk quietly over to the dresser, her family was most likely still asleep. Except Father of course, as he was off in another part of London for his work. The young lady put on the white robe and shivered slightly, it was quite cold in the house this morning. It was snowing outside so that was most likely the reason. Angelina slipped into her morning footwear and peaked out the door of her room. It didn't really seem as if anyone was awake, she looked at the clock on her wall. From what she read it was about 6 o'clock in the morning, the lady had thought of going to sleep once again but decided against it. As she liked having a slight bit of alone time to herself before everyone else woke up and they started their day. Angelina walked quietly down the hallway, making as little of a sound as she could before she got to the stairs, well this was just splendid. The stairs creaked a bit as she slowly walks down them and into the Madden family living room where she then sat on the couch sighed. Hopefully no one had heard her pacing around upstairs so she could have some quiet time to be alone. |

Anastasia|37|Female|Mother|M: Father (Ind.), Maid NPC (Dir.) Anastasia woke to the soft warm light from A dawn just past, shining in through her first covered window, outlooking the snowy street. She turned over in her spacious bed sighing as she saw the empty spot next to her. Her dear husband was up in Manchester on A business trip. She didn't quite know when he would be back home but he had been out for around 2 weeks now. She stared at the clock on the wall, telling her it was around 6 am. By the time she finished getting ready for the day, it would be around breakfast. She got up and summoned her maid who had hot bath water fresh from the fire waiting for her. Today was also A wash day for her hair so she also scrubbed the dirt and grime out of her hair. After her bath, she put her hair up in A cloth and changed into her chemise. Her maid started her outfit by putting on her corset and tying it not too tight but tighter than most. Then her crinoline went on which was A nice cream color and made for the current style.At some point she heard some footsteps and creaking but didn't think much of it. Next went on 4, white & quite thin, petticoats with some nice simple & subtle flows embroidery at the bottom, on top of her crinoline. Her gown for the day was A nice woolen one with A long skirt & high necked bodice & long puffy sleeves. After the skirt went one, her bodice went on and she buttoned up the bodice all the way to her neck. Next, her maid brushed her hair before gently pinning up into A nice bun. A nice flower pin was put in the back of her bun. Then her maid put A bit of blush of her cheeks and blended it throughly and A lard mixture on her lips to give it A shiny look and moisturize it. Next she put on some jewelry. She chose to wear A nice sterling silver necklace with A heart shaped pendant and her wedding ring which was A nice silver with the etching on A flower wreath on it. |

Elenora | 14 | Youngest Daughter | Mentions; Maid NPC, Family (Ind) Open - Elenora woke up with a yawn in the morning. She could hear some noises around the house, indicating that other family members may be awake. She checked the time as she sat up with a stretch. A maid came into the room to help Elenora get ready for the day ahead. Elenora started out with washing her face with warm water. She then cleaned her teeth with her toothbrush. Elenora picked out one of her long, violet floral dresses that reached to just around her ankles to wear with the maid's help. She them proceeded to get into it with the assistance of the maid. The maid zipped it up for her. "Thank you." Elenora said politely. The maid nodded as she took out a white pair of long shoes that went above the ankle. They had white laces that crossed over the top. Finally, Elenora consulted with the maid about the hairstyle before settling for having it up in a bun at the back of her head after carefully brushing it out. Elenora glanced over at her perfume that she got recently for a few moments before deciding to put a slight amount of the flowery fragrance on herself. Elenora then headed downstairs to check who in her family was awake so far. |

Angelina | 18 Years | Female | Twin | Mentions: Eleanora (dir), Maid NPC, Open! ~ After a while of just sitting quietly on the living rooms couch, the young lady let out a sigh. The maids had already started cleaning up around the house, a few were making breakfast already, it smelt heavenly. One of the family maids had approached Angelina with a smile, she was a bit younger, maybe in her early twenties, she had offered to help Angelina get ready for the day. The girl accepted her offer willingly, as she would like to be dressed before her family all awoke, just so they were spared looking at a young woman in only her nightgown around her body. The two women walked swiftly to the stairs and started going up, Angelinas younger sister, Eleanora, seemed to be all ready for the day and was headed the opposite way down the stairs. "Good morning sister, I will be back down in a moment. I must get ready for the day first-" she smiled and continued up the stairs and to her corridor where the maid looked through her cabinet s and drawers full of Angelinas clothes until she found her corset and a dress that would do nicely for a certain chilly day. They started with her undergarments of course, her white stockings were put on and the young ladys maid helped tie up her corset. Angelina liked it quite tight, she surprisingly found it more comfortable this way, as she had gotten used to it by now and it just felt wrong to wear it lightly. The young woman had decided against wearing a pettycoat today as it could just end up being a burden if the family went out for any reason. Th dress that Angelina wore today was a simple sky blue dress with long sleeves, it reached to her ankles where she was wearing black tie up boots for the fitting weather. Her hair was pit up into a braided bun and just a dash of makeup was added to enhance the naturality of her appearance. Angelina thanked the maid and made her way out of her room and down the stairs again, it was a bit brighter outside now so the rest of the family should be waking up around now. The young woman walked elegantly down the stairs and looked around for her sister, wondering if she would have anything to say about this morning. |

Mordecai | 15 | Male | Youngest Brother | Mentions; Elenora & Angelina (dir) ~ Mordecai had been in bed and awake for a few minutes already. He had woken up early, but just like anyone, he didn't want to get up. At least.. not early, on time was fine but early meant he could relax at least for a bit. At dawn, carriages could be faintly heard filling up the streets, it had been a while since dawn.. just about a few hours ago. Mordecai had listened to the sounds of the people outside while he waited for time to go by. Before he knew it, he heard the sounds of his family waking up all around him. When he thought it was a good time to do so, he in turn did his daily morning routine consisting of washing his face and hands, brushing his teeth and getting dressed in his regular clothing. He put on his crisp white shirt, fastened by a silk ascot tie. He then put on his black frock coat and waistcoat. He quickly put on his trousers and went to meet whoever was awake. He made it to Elenora and Angelina with a giant smile on his face, "Good Morning!" |
