I remember everything...
The night was cold as the beta burst through the cave entrance. The snow shone on his black mela fur, "Alpha, we have to go!" My father stood, "what's wrong?" he asked. Beta caught his breath, "Frozen Flames has caught sent of an enemy pack!" My father gasped and mumbled, "That young boy sure does have a nose on him huh?" Beta laughed, "no kidding but I doubt this is a laughing matter, sir." My father stood taller when the rest of the pack entered. He looked over them all, "I don't think anyone can stand against the mighty Skull Dancer." She shifted on her paws not used to praise and they laughed. "Maybe not, but it may be a different story in the blinding snow. We need to go and fast, if there is any chance of us out running them with pups," Skull Dancer said and gestured to us. My father looked at us and sighed, "your right, we need to leave now. MOVE OUT," he howled.
We walked into the blizzard, I noticed I was falling behind and went to run when my paw hit something cold a slippery, ice. I tried to howl for help but the wind moved my howl the other way. I fell down the hill and tried to howl again when I noticed someone had answered my howl. It wasn't my father or mother..... it was the enemy. I howled for Skull Dancer, she was someone I could always count on. The wolf had others with him, when one seemed to take pity on me and went to help, the leader snarled. The last thing I saw was his paw when everything went dark.
There was warmth and a voice when I woke up and saw the whole enemy pack around me. I launched up and did what Skull Dancer would do, I put my back to the wall to prevent unseen attacks. I growled and when the Alpha said for everyone to leave, one stayed. It was the one who was trying to help me in the snow. He turned to her and hit her snout. She didn't even flinch when blood started coming from her new wound. He turned back to me, his ugly face a centimeter away from mine. He snarled when I kept looking in his eyes, "your possibly the ugliest creature I have ever laid eyes on," he said.
