Although she and Wise had their first pups out of duty to combine the houses of the Kingdom (a goal which they lived to see), at the very end of their lives they realized how much they truely loved each other. They were both the oldest wolves ever to have lived in the Kingdom. Despite their age, Tawnia became pregnant once more to Wise. They knew that to have pups so late was extremely risky and that it was possible, neither would live to see them born. Their daughter, Branwen, gave her life to protect the borders, and neither had any surviving pups from the past. Although Iseult was their descendant, she was more their student and ward than anything. Tawnia and Wise were very close. Every night they would sleep together, both afraid to awake with the other gone. Whatever the case, they knew that they would not long be without each other.
