Nike, goddess of Victory. Widely known throughout the Grecian lands as the female who never lost. Be it war or a simple game, she would always win. Many would pray to have this fair goddess on their side, in hopes that they would be the victors of any type of competition.

Now, however, the female who'd stayed up on Olympus for years and years, had decided to visit the wolves once again. Her form was wistful and athletic- built for any type of sport. Her pelt patterns were a mix of all the colors fit into one, causing it to appear to be a rainbow of sorts. Upon her head sat a golden laurel- a wreath for those who become the victor.

It was time.

Nike tilted her head back and gazed up at the moon. The goddess, Luna, was looking down upon her with a smile tonight. Good. She grinned and shook out her divine coat, and set out to beseech the lands below. To visit the mortals...wouldn't that be fun? Though the form she had taken now was a mortal as well. It would be rare for those to fully understand her true self. For now, she would accept the fact that many believed her to be named after herself, and not the real goddess of Victory.

All would be well. Nike simply wanted to explore the fundamentals of this land, and seek out new ideas, new games, and a new life. For now, she would remain on earth as a mortal wolf. For now.

One day, Nike ran into a curious male. Well, technically he ran into her. Tackled, is more like it. She was surveying the land when he did this. After introducing himself as guardian of the land she was on, she not only brushed him off, but made him out to be a lesser being then her. Then again...he, in a way, was.

The male was known as Merik. He was a bit flirtatious, and a rather good looking brute. The attraction began when he offered to fight, and appeared surprised when she accepted. She knew she wasn't like the females he had met, for she wasn't even from the earth they lived on.

Now, the pair walk together, learning about each other every day. Nike has learned that an old friend, a minor god named Aristaios, lives within Merik. Merik struggles with him, not only because he has a loved one named Mocha, but because living with someone else inside your head is...well, a pain.

When finding out /somewhat/ about Mocha, Nike felt her competitive side arouse. She wanted to prove she was far better then this female- in any way, shape, or form. Though at the same time, she didn't. Love made her curios. She wanted to watch it, to see it grow. Yet...she also wanted to experience it.

Maybe someday...she would.
