Biography
"Noooo!" Her cries echoed through the dry, hazy canyon air. I stood above my pack, watching them being slaughtered by our rivals. I flew of the boulder and landed on a gigantic white wolf. He tore his claws through my fur and I lept off and growled. The attack has been going on for hours, and my pack was losing strength. Already 3 wolves were lying motionless on the ground; already my mother was dead. I pounced on my opponent and raked my claws across his eyes. He wheeled away from me and joined another wolf attacking my father. My eyes flashed with anger but before I could join the brawl I was dragged backwards. I fought hard but then I realized it was my brother. "What are you doing?! I need to fight! I have to help!" He ignored my pleas and dragged me all the way to the top of the canyon. He looked anxiously into my torn up face and growled, "Go. Save yourself and run!" I stared at him in shock. Run? Leave my pack to die?! I tried to hop back into the canyon but I slammed into another wolf. I got up quickly to see who the wolf was and I was embarrassed. "I'm so sorry Willow!" I had almost shoved my live long crush into the canyon. She looked uneasily at me then began to trot away. She looked back and motioned for me to follow. I began to move away towards her but my fathers voice pierced the air. I whipped around to see my brother was gone. I sprinted to the canyon rim and gazed down at the scene below me. I felt Willow join me but I was to shocked to acknowledge it. My whole pack was gone. They lay in pools of their own blood; all of them. Even my brother, who was with me a moment before, lay dead by my father. The enemy had already left. I slowly navigated down the canyon wall and sat in front of my father. With a shaking voice I began to howl. The long, deep, slow mournful howl- used only when a pack member died. A few seconds later Willow joined in. She was by her only sister- the only family she ever knew. As I continued to howl I put everything I felt into it. I knew that I would never fail my pack again. I knew I would start a new life, with a new family and I would protect them with my life- just as my father did for me. As I thought all these thoughts, I felt Willow press against me as she lay down. I knew no matter what, I would love and protect her. I would be her family, and she would be the mother of our pack. And we would lead them, no matter how many low positions we would take in other packs, eventually we would rise to the top. It's only a matter of time. Bio by Narnian Wolves
