Once there was a pup with black fur, painted with colors of browns and grey. With mirthful unmatching eyes he was named Piaras. He was born into a life with such promise he was torn from his family when he was too young to remember. Queen Iseult had discovered him and his predestined mate, Thora, in a search to save her pack. For quite some time the wolves in the Kingdom Of Living had been dying out and falling prey to others. He had caught the Queen's eyes, such promise young, noble, Piaras held.
He had always been a strong wolf growing up under Queen Iseult's wing and was a force to be reckoned with in battle. The sun seemed to claim his movements, making his every step a heated show of dominance. When it was time Piaras rose like the sun. Taking over the aging Yngvar's place as King was one of the grandest moments in his life.
He then ruled with an elegance only he could, and a power that stained the borders of his lands. His beautiful she-wolf of soft golden fur ruled with him. His love for her growing as each day came and went. It seemed she was his only flaw. Her perfection distracted him immensely. By her side it seemed the world, his world, was complete. They held a bond stronger than all others, it seemed to pulsing with vibrant love. A heated promise of never leaving. It was a burn that sparked when grazed, but it hurt in a good kind of way. From that passion came Prince Lugh, a wolf the image of his father, with the warm demeanor of his mother. Piaras's pack became one of the most powerful throughout the surrounding land and gained honor and respect. Piaras had made the Kingdom of Living a true kingdom once more. As the years went by, Piaras's descendants would flourish. One day he stepped down from being King, handing the throne over to Sir Niklas, a deserving wolf who was much like himself. However, in Piaras's old age another illness came to the pack, and all of his descendants were lost. Piaras and Thora were heart broken and tried to conceive other children. Like before there was great difficulty. Thora conceived once but the delivery was unsuccessful. It felt to both of them as if for all these years, after all they built, everything was washed away. Thora went into depression, and Piaras knew if she failed to have pups then she would give up on life completely. She could not watch her pups die anymore. As the years passed, they had two surviving children, Lord Hanroi and Lady Heidi. However, Hanroi was soon lost as well. Heidi's birth resulted in Thora's death. Piaras never forgave himself. He blamed himself for wanting children, and blamed himself from not making Thora feel happy, like she was enough. He wasted away, until one day, he never woke.
