Ostagar G3 Melanism not related to Orlais

Ostagar is the scene where you first meet Alistair in Dragon Age Origins. It also may be the first place you see your mabari war hound if you are not a human noble. You just go to The Wilds on that quest Duncan gives you and pick one of the yellow flowers. You save the dog's life and after the king and all the other soldiers are slaughtered that dog finds you in Lothering. Ostagar can be returned to in a DLC where you find the King's armor and give him a burial by fire.
