Character Description

Biography
Horus, born and raised in this pack, took the role of Alpha after her mother Allae left the pack for good due to internal conflict and terrible rumors. Her mother left without a word in the night during an awful storm that would have spelled death for anyone to follow her on her path of self-destruction. Horus never knew the true reason for her mother leaving and her packmate Fleetfoot fell into an unforgiving spell of depression that rendered him speechless. Horus never brought up her mother for fear of upsetting the old wolf and continued to rule as Alpha alone.
Many years passed, many viable males came and went but between her overprotective brothers, cruelty, famine, and drought, Horus feared she would never find a mate and have the pups she had been dreaming of for her entire life.
As chance would have it, Horus met a lone male out on his own in their southern border and the stranger charmed her heart away from her. After accepting him into the family (which was no easy task, leaving her sibling Sarge with a nasty scar across his neck), the pack was gladdened to hear that Horus would soon be having her first pups!

Personality
Bossy but loving, commanding, insecure, lively, aggressive when challenged, intense.
While being loving and kind to all those that she loves, Horus has an angry streak when her thoughts or orders are questioned. Having practically raised herself to be an Alpha, many mistakes have been made in her life leaving her wiser but very insecure which tends to translate into useless anger or fear. She fears being alone and not knowing the unknown. Having been an Alpha tends to make one bossy but not to the point of pointless harm. Horus may get frustrated but she will never hurt any of her family, instead walk away. Strangers, however, who have done harm are by no means safe. She inherently dislikes strangers because she believes her mother left her family for another male, which is what destroyed her father and left him a mute zombie.

Favorite food: Rabbits and marmots. They taste sweet, though they require a bit more patience to catch.
Favorite places: Cliffs where the wind whips at her fur and she can see the entire territory from her perch.
Favorite scents: Flowers, sweet grasses, and fresh earth.

Horus is the kind of gal with an excellent poker face. You won't know what she is thinking until she lets you know. Which, more often than not, is with her teeth when you screwed up.
