Biography Vanished. Gone. He left his pack for a reason. They taunted him, beat him. He was on the verge of death when what seemed like an angel came. Zinc grew up in a pack that was the best of the best. They had the highest expectations and the harshest ways. But they never gave him a chance. His pelt. It was ugly and horrifying to them. His mother and father hated him and abused him. He never had known a single ounce of love in his life. Just hate, sorrow, bitterness, and to never have a heart. He was in the midst of, yet another, taunting which always resulted in a beating at the end. That's when he saw it. Between the hateful eyes and the scarred legs of his pack, he saw a shadow. It slowly crept along the edge of the camp slinking in and out. Zinc watched and ignored the taunts until a paw came into his vision. And the next thing he knew, he was lying on the ground and his cheek seared with pain. Barking and yelping erupted and the whole pack was laughing. That's when the shadow caught his eye. It was much closer this time and directly behind the Alpha. The shadow leaped onto the Alpha's back and with a gruesome snap the shadow, who was now a scarred wolf, held the cruel Alpha in his jaws. The pack stood horrified, until one by one, they ran into the woods with fear, until just Zinc and the Shadowed Wolf stood face to face. The wolf walked over slowly his paws crunching the dead leaves. Zinc cowered down in fear, knowing what this wolf was about to do. But he was wrong. Instead the Shadowed Wolf grabbed him gently by the scruff and walked out of the camp. Zinc couldn't remember if it was the lulling and steady bump of the wolf's legs hitting his side or the peaceful forest around him, but at one point sleep came, and it was welcomed with open arms. He awoke with a start. And snapped his eyes open to take in his surroundings. A small cave with moss growing here and there sheltered him. Looking closer he saw light, coming from a lichen draped entrance. On wobbly legs he walked over and peered out of the cave. A burst of light hit his eyes, so strong he almost fell back. He shook his head and peered closer he was in a camp and many wolves where walking this way and that either talking, doing daily jobs, or simply sleeping in the shade. "Young one, you should be asleep," came a voice. He snapped his head to the source, and saw the Shadowed Wolf. The wolf walked over and sat down beside him. Zinc peered up in curiosity, studying the wolf closely. He was a brownish gray color that eventually became a gold yellow and then to white as you went down to his paws. He had black specks all over him with a mutated looking white pattern. He had a large red tattoo down his shoulder and mesmerizing gold eyes. "So, what was your history, past, old life like," asked the wolf. Zinc looked down. "I-I don't like to talk about it." The wolf nodded. "I understand. I'm Simba by the way, Alpha of Titanium." Zinc looked up in awe. An Alpha! Simba looked at him with his mesmerizing gold orbs. "Do you have a name?" Zinc looked down. "Ye-yes I was named Zinc." Simba returned to watching his pack. "Well Zinc, this is Titanium. And I'm offering you a permanent slot in our pack. Do you accept?" Zinc looked at Simba in shock. "I-I-I um. Yes! Yes I'll join your pack!" Simba smiled and stood up. "Come young one, there is much to see." And with that he started to trot away, with Zinc trailing behind him.
