| Axol I did a couple of dogs after her and it took 2 people to do them because they were so traumatized. It took a good two years to be able to do them without help:/ |

| Eve: Sounds like you are at maintenance level until it starts to retract Mag: This is why i refuse to let my dogs go to the groomers :\ I have done both my dogs grooming since i got my pup and he had a bad experience at the groomer... due to nails. Took me forever to build up his trust |

| I've been dremeling them a little bit every 3 days or so. They were pretty long, and now they are shorter, but I can't go any farther until the quick retreats. |

| Won't hurt to do it every other day to once a week. As long as you are penetrating the quik or getting too close. You get too close and the second their nail hits something hard they'll bleed. I worked with a groomer who said it didn't hurt to quik their nails x.x horrible lady, god don't rest her soul |

| Correct me if I am wrong, but I have heard if you want to push the quick back you want to dremmel every other to every 4 days. Depending on how fast your dogs nails grow. My boys get trimmed every week and its enough to maintain their nails. |
