"We cannot see things that stare us in the face until the hour comes that the mind is ripened."
Iseult had several siblings as a pup and though she loved them, she often felt lost in the crowd. She was a happy, active juvenile, who loved exploring and hunting. As soon as she reached adulthood she left the only pack she had ever known, setting out on her own to discover her destiny. She caught the interest of a male in the woods who was actually King Víðarr of the Kingdom Of Living, a great pack. These were the golden years of the Kingdom and she had several pups with her new mate. She had several companions and soon befriended a male wolf named Yngvar, and was accepted into the pack with little hesitation. She was known for her beauty and captivated several young males, even though they dared not touch her. However, soon grew disaster struck and took her Víðarr and her dear pups with it. Only remnants remained of the pack's former glory. However, Yngvar remained. She did not love him like Víðarr but became his mate to restore order. The pack began to dwindle because of the effects of an illness that made all the wolves sterile. She accepted the pack was dying, and immediately began to exercise her abilities, leaving a pack for the second time to find acceptable heirs and repopulate the Kingdom of Living. She returned with the heirs, Piaras and Thora, but also a curious she- wolf whom would become her best friend and advisor, Aisling, as well as a knight Sir Bricius. After a few years, time began to weigh on Iseult's shoulders and though she finally had Yngvar's offspring, a daughter called Princess Virva, she gave up the throne to Duchess Thora. She was content to spend the rest of her days by Yngvar's side, watching her pack grow strong and healthy one more.

Iseult has a forgiving heart, as is necessary for a Queen. She has always looked on other wolves as her own pups, even crossing the ends of the earth to bring two back and give them better lives as the future Queen and King. She has a calm temperament, and she often oversees pack decisions and acts as judge. She loves Virva, and regrets that her current mate treats her so unkindly. Unbeknownst to everyone, Iseult never stopped loving her first mate, Víðarr, and sometimes longs to be with him again. There is a weight on her heart. She knows that Víðarr might be alive. She knows that all her pups are dead, having searched for them. Some may have had children of their own, but she will never know. She was quite willing to let Thora take her place as Queen, knowing it was the right decision and had to be.
