I see a lot of people defending doodles because they are good service dogs, but I've always had better experiences with pure poodles.

Aussie doodle. Lets mix a working dog breed for herding, with a retriever bred dog, and a ratting bred working dog. Let's see how well this works out.

Wagyu. Me with ANY dog that has a short snout, or that are purposefully bred for a shorter snout. And dachshunds.
Cypress Road
Pizza Yeah she has had all her shots and once puppies are old enough they will be getting check ups and shots. We are writing down birth time, weight, first feed, and breached or not
The Forgotten
I can talk all day about ethical, responsible dog... breeding, ownership, training, etc. My first dog i got from the shelter... then the new dog i got my friend bred... but my next dog is going to be ethically sourced :)

I used to train dogs at the kennel I worked at too. There were so many owners that had working breed dogs that were like "My dogs are so misbehaved" Yeah, no shit karen, you have a border collie stuck in an apartment, that you walk once a week, and don't do ANY mental stimulation with!

Apo Maybe it's a hot take but I also believe some mixes should not exist or be bred. BYB or not, some mixes are so unethical
Apothecary
I have a family member that was very big into Catahoula dogs, and got theirs from a respectable breeder, didn't listen to anything the breeder said, and the dog became a nightmare >-< I really hated it. The poor dog is an outside dog now, and is just always in a kennel and has heartworms.

A lot of the owners you see that have specific breeds that aren't well trained, I find get their dogs from backyard breeders. Most professional breeders ensure that training/vet/spay/neuter contracts are in place before they let anybody go home with an animal.

Wagyu Yeah, I used to foster as well. I'm big on the "If you aren't ready and knowledgeable" about the birth process, what it looks like, the lineage of the parents, and aren't prepared or have standard vet care before hand, that all of your animals should be spayed. Not only does it increase the kitten and puppy crisis, but most backyard breeders don't vaccinate or deworm their animals, and they have tons of behavioral issues.
Cypress Road
We were trying to wait til she was a little older to breed her. We wanted a litter just not this soon. We quickly got everything we needed though for her and her puppies and everything's going good
Apothecary
The only time I didn't get my animals spayed was my inbred cat, because she was ridiculously small, and being inbred had more susceptibility to death during surgery.
Beachbeagle
Apo Backyard breeding? Because I used to foster pups and 90% were a result of BYB not getting sales.
